Long form eps, very detailed, tons of work goes into em. Dudes (I should say dude, one of em went back to his day job) are just not very entertaining and haven't come all the way round like someone like techmoan in terms of being informative. I've been subbed to Game Sack since around 2012 maybe 2013 and would love to see them grow but its just not gunna happen, unfortunately.

Still have one of my SD cards with 256 MB around. At some point in the future I see people looking for small drives to get older stuff to work, and we'll be there to sell our classics.

@@xxyvng6831 haven't tried the pros, but tbh i would expect them to fit better in my ears because of the silicone tip and even if they have that dumb inorganically-shaped hard plastic shell, at least they're smaller so they have a better chance of fitting okay in my ears. for context, earpods massively hurt my ears and have pressure spots, airpods would too except they keep falling out of my ears whenever I, y'know, use my face. like every iem manufacturer stopped using pure hard plastic shells like 15 years ago for a reason - sealing sound (both from inside and out of your ears) and because comfort and the fact that ears are one of the most variable parts of the human body from person to person.

The voltage drop must be insane, like on a lot of those cheapo extensions (5V in, 4.4V out (out of spec already) and when you actually connect something that consumes power it drops even further)

I recently bought a Ipod classic gen 6 80 gig because of your channel and how easy they are to use for playing music compared to my phone.

Unrelated but it also went through the washing machine and dryer and still worked for years later. RIP my legendary shuffle

I remember having a 256 megabyte flash drive in elementary school. It got the job done to hold Word documents or whatever. I never had an iPod shuffle. I just find it funny how flash memory has gotten really cheap over the years.
My favorite memory of flash drives was during highschool in 2014 I had a class where we were often in the computer lab and I'd bring Halo 1 on a flash drive and I'd go around letting people copy it onto their computer and we'd do LAN matches lol 2014 was a point where computing was fast enough for us to be able to copy and play halo within 2 minutes but not at a point yet where school computer systems are so locked down and so heavily monitored lol, a true golden era

I remember having a 256 megabyte flash drive in elementary school. It got the job done to hold Word documents or whatever. I never had an iPod shuffle. I just find it funny how flash memory has gotten really cheap over the years.
My favorite memory of flash drives was during highschool in 2014 I had a class where we were often in the computer lab and I'd bring Halo 1 on a flash drive and I'd go around letting people copy it onto their computer and we'd do LAN matches lol
2014 was a point where computing was fast enough for us to be able to copy and play halo within 2 minutes but not at a point yet where school computer systems are so locked down and so heavily monitored lol, a true golden era
I love how such a small amount of storage made you value the songs you had though!! I'm probably just being nostalgic but I kind of miss having to choose which songs matter enough to take with me
Now we can just fill our devices with shit then more shit! And still only listen to the same like 20 songs
you can still do that to yourself. I would rather have the option to put 20000 songs in my phone and only using a fraction of that as opposed to being forced to pick 130 of em.
