After years of youtube...here’s what I learned. When you show people something cool without them knowing how much you paid or how you installed it...they will ooh and aah at it and ask questions how they can do it. But if you flat out tell them it cost next to nothing and it’s super easy to install, they automatically hate on the mod thinking it’s tacky and cheap looking. It’s okay. I’m only here to please the people who are true fans who understand what I’m doing. I don’t do it for the haters. The haters can just keep driving up my RUclips views which would help my channel grow. Lol
Its a cover. Aint gonna get any better than for a budget upgrade. Better than the stock steering wheel with scratches all over it. Plus, it's temporary. I'm still trying to figure out what custom steering wheel I want.

"the flat black" parts are the nicest thing in this interior, they need to be cleaned with special interior spray, not the cockpit spray because then it looks ugly. IMO these pattern looks a lot worse than this matte black parts, for the silver parts its ok, but matte black in original is a lot better
Spent around $1500 for interior carbon fiber wrap on my w212. Bye bye faded wood trim. Well worth the $$$ and came out awesome. You're fortunate to be able to find the parts to DIY. Looks great Flexx. Looks and feels like a new car
@@TheFlexxGarage as opposed to over $3k in replacement parts, I'd do it again. Couldn't find all the parts I needed and got tired of looking. Was even luckier to find @VRDCustoms in my area too. Check em out for the next project
I'd rather an original replacement than an inlay ,but settled for the wrap. Closest best thing. Wasn't looking to cover any fuberoptics with it either. On some cars,it just doesn't look right. Others will, such as this A4
looks good from a distance. maybe a show of how it looks up close, how it fits into the entire console .. For me it looks like an advertisement for a new product from China .. 👇
You know this stuff isn’t new? I installed the same thing on my Benz 2 years ago and it’s been available in the market for like 10years. Beats vinyl wrapping trim. Plus I’m not trying to turn my car into a show car. I rather look at these while I’m driving versus the crappy black plastic all over the place. You do know that most aftermarket car part is made in China? Haha. Just cause you can buy something from a US reseller on eBay doesn’t mean it’s made in the US.
Ehh. Don’t know. Haven’t put enough miles on each to know. Audi just eats oil. Not a lot but it does. It’s common cause of the design allows some oil to slip past the piston rings into the engine to burn up.
@@TheFlexxGarage Really? That's interesting. My B8.5 has over 100k on it, doesn't burn a drop of oil. From what I understand they fixed oil consumption after the B8
Looks great. My only problem is with the centre cap of the drivers airbag. Manufacturers spend years designing the airbags so if deployed they open a certain way but by sticking this trim over it it could compromise the release.
You knows it’s just a flexible sticker? It’s not a “trim”. I said it over and over in the video it’s an “overlay”. Haha. When you apply a crapload of pounds of force from an airbag, that sticker will be gone like it never existed.
Did you order the main components as a set ? Or did you buy everything individually, I can see that you posted separate links for everything in the description. I have the same car just curious. Thanks.
Haha. Because I’m not rich and I rather spend money making something slow, fast then buying something that’s fast that cost so much more money that i have to keep it stock cause I have no money for mods. Plus, I wanna help c300 and A4 community with mods. C43 and S4 owners can learn a thing or two from my videos as well. 😎
🤩💯 Great upgrade for the Interior, looks really nice you think 🤔 I can get a kit for my Audi A4 b8? if so can you let me no where I can buy one for my Audi. Thanks 🙏 and looking sharp!
Will the parts in the description match mine a4 b8 2008 year sline? ? Except steering wheel and shift knob. Is it solid and won't peel off over time? Or due to the high temperature in the car. Greeting from Poland!
@@TheFlexxGarage I'm somewhere in the middle. I also don't like the silver trim but I'm thinking about wrapping the trim with a carbon look wrap. A non glossy version. When I don't like it I can take of the wrap but not with these overlays. They will leave glue all over the original trim I guess. I am jealous about the amount of mods on your car though!

of course. Why wouldn't they? If you follow instructions and thoroughly clean a surface so it's completely clean and then you heat the back the the trim...it's super sticky. People who dont know how to follow instructions are the ones with problems of it not sticking later on. They get the trim in the mail and rush to put them on and don't even do the properly cleaning or heating of the trim.

did the carbon piece fit correctly with the quattro badge on the passenger trim piece or did you have to take that quattro badge off?

Just picked whatever looks like my interior piece. That’s all.
Where did you get the heat gun that can be plugged into your car?

You still got these on or have you taken them off?

Gear shift lever was used more then an manual car:
D -> (-) -> D -> S -> (-) -> D
Nahh. It only stays in S for me. The +- shifts are way too slow with this transmission.

Why is that so? Nobody wants to ship there, shipping is expensive, or too many rules and regulations on aftermarket parts?
