Thanks for the video it helped me alot without it I would have given up because I found the cover difficult to remove. If I may add ... At 2:26 you can see clearly there is another clip to be removed (next to the screw which was a phillips head in my case not a torx). Both those top clips need to be pressed in with a small pointy implement. The bottom clip at 2:08 I trimmed with cutters to ease removal. The key to removal is prying Audi just loves this concept. You have to pry to loosen the mirror before removal this is critical as it`s very easy to break. Pry all the way around the side mirror cover. Once it`s off the replacement of the signals and reassembly is much easier. Good luck guys!
@@TheFlexxGarage - That would be a nice to have. I gather there’s no door courtesy light or it’s not an option voltage wise. Not worth it for how much work it would take from what it sounds like..
Yeah..not fun. I did a hardwire method on my black C250 W204 and in that video, I had to run alot of wires, tap alot of wires, and solder a special microchip switch to make it all work. Not again...lol
The dynamic signal looks awesome, really modernizes it and brings it to where it should have been when our B8.5's came from the factory. They also should have installed LED signals in the front, why halogen. Gah.
Don’t know. My car actually doesn’t have OEM puddle lights to tap into. I have wires for the motorized mirrors but tapping into those would be wrong cause it’s constant power.
It was either try to wrap it (which is a pain to do) or the cover. I didn’t wanna pay the crazy prices for the full carbon housing that replaces stock housing. Too much money just to enhance the looks for my mirrors.
do your mirrors flip when close car?? if you have a motor on mirrors, you can plug the cable for blue light signal into mirror motor power positive wire. i am trying to find which color is the cable :)
No. My mirrors are manual fold. I don’t have the motorized motor. Yea, I’m aware of the wiring. I just couldn’t show it cause I don’t have anything to tap into.
I may have to do this to change my mirror caps. I have a 21 A4 and someone scratched my passenger-side mirror. Audi wants $741 to replace the housing. I was thinking of doing it myself but it seemed difficult since I have the blindside monitor and cameras in the mirror.
Hello, hope I can still help, it come out really easy, almost like in yhis video, the proces is kinda the same, regardless to all the other things ( camera and shit like that) it doesn't really matter, you will just have more connectors
Also trust me, never go to a dealership to get ur job done, way too expensive and many of them treats customers cars like shit ( I've worked in an audi dealership for 1 year as a mechanic), sometimes they weren't even doing nothing to the cars and just giving them back saying they did
That’s strange…cause they still work just fine. Ohhh yeah…that’s because i did my research and these caps actually comes in 2 version. 1 version is for a car with blind spot assistant. Hahaha. Try again homie.

@TheFlexGarage I need help where is the puddle light?? Is it the door light?
Great job and you have an uncanny ability to explain things in a simple way
Appreciate the feedback!

They look a lot brighter. Sweet upgrade!
I like em alot. I wish I had a spot to tap to power up the cool blue startup light...but oh well.

At 2:05 is the clip you mentioned just broken off? That is a kind of tall post that seems impossible to get around.
i’m stuck there too
@@spxnzyy574 How did you get around this? I'm already tired 😤

agreed!!!!
Hello from France 🇫🇷 😊
Thanks to you in a previous video, I made the same thing with my W203 Mercedes C220 coupe and it's cooool 😎👍
Had those in my 08 Audi allready two year ago. Looks nice!
So I can get these exacts ones for my Audi A4 09?
Awesome upgrade - thanks for the sharing with us.
Can this fit for an Audi A4 2009 b8?
which wiring would the puddle light be? I have it but I'm confused where I would connect the extra wire

Turn signals look awesome. Carbon fiber does too but you can still see some gray just below the carbon fiber cover edge.

Nice! Will these fit B8 as well?
Can you list the torx screwdriver size that was used and also what other tools were used
Nice. I bought actual cf mirror housing and a folding mirror kit which is really cool
woah woah woah--- there is a mirror fold kit!?!? *Edit, I looked and they are $700! Holy crap*
@@jordanrumsey2115 $700 for folding mirrors???? Rather get stage 1 lolol
Hey just wondering, would you ever wrap your roof black? Just wondering how it would look on the Audi, thinking about doing it on my car.
do you know if these will fit a b8 model?
You got a gallery just got the Audi?
Nice audi A4
Where can I get this dynamic side highlight?
very easy i can do it right now
thank you so much
really thank you
god bless of you

Could we possibly get the link for the sequential signals? I'm gonna get some for my b8.5 a4
Read the description below the video
more audi vids!
For me the side turn signal gives an error, burned bulb when installing the dynamic ones, did you need to code them with vcds?
Nope. What you see in the video is what I have. Plug and play.

How does this motor look like??
My mirror closed by it self if I lock the car
