Good video mate . Both nice tablets , i have the air 4 , However I do wish these big companies would set the example and put the 3,5 mm headphone jack back in . A lot of people still use and prefer wired phones , and its not like there is no room on these large devices for a tiny little headphone jack , and the SD card feature on the samsung tablet is nice too .
Especially, in GarageBand, there's a delay between keys pressed and the corresponding sound heard through wireless headsets; however, there's no such delay observed in case of wired ones (albeit through an usb c to 3.5mm jack adapter). Plus, how many things do we have to charge throughout the day? Phone, tablet, powerbank, wireless headsets, smart watch etc. Etc. Etc. The list is neverending these days.
For someone like me iPad is not even a viable option, because for me , iPadOS is simply too restrictive. No actual file management, where I can actually work on files or conveniently share a file from any file manager of choice to any social media or editing app. Cannot run emulators!! Picture in picture/multitasking is lack luster, no ability to emulate Linux for ARM, Android browsers allow forcing full desktop sites. Customization is no contest.
First and foremost, to each their own, I’m not against Android at all, but there IS file management for iPadOS. I use it all the time for work to share, work on/markup, sign, and send documents and files. I think it just comes down to preference, be it features or OS.
I’m pretty sure there are. Plus Samsung tabs just don’t last. My iPad Air 2 is lasting even after more than 7 years, yes I can use it the whole day without the battery running out if it’s charged fully.
Damned this Samsung and the Android software is getting really brilliant, but my iPad can be used as a second monitor for my MacBook, which is really useful for my workflow when I am staying in a hotel.

I've been looking for a few days & the Tab S7+ is way in demand apparently. They are still expensive used & run $350 plus on eBay used or reman. $500 plus on Amazon. I just took advantage of Samsung's Holiday Deals & got the S7+ for $400 brand new. Much better than paying $50 less for a scratched up used one. I think think the display & the quad speakers is one main reason it's still popular in December 2022. 👍

I really like your video. But I really would appreciate if you put examples in the video. Like what does the camera footage really look like, how do the speakers sound etc ...but other than that. Great Video very informative
Just subscribed. I found this video helpful, but there are holes in this video and the other one comparing it with the iPad pro that I wish were improved upon in future videos. This includes mentioning the quality of the microphone to the receiver of a video call, screen reflection, and overall brightness comparison (nits) so one like me who reads on tbe Beach or at a coffee coffee house can determine if it will be bright enough when taking screen reflections into account. I'm really struggling between S7+, the upcoming iPad Pro with Microled, or waiting for the next Android tablet like a S8+. I do own a Note 20 ultra, but since I live in Puerto Vallarta, it would be nice to have FaceTime with my family who all own Apple in the US and the more refined apps in the Apple Store is enticing. Nonetheless, excellent presentation, very easy to understand, love use case focus, good speaking voice, very informative equals new subscriber. EDIT: Just watched the S7+ review and I see the microphone comments which were very helpful. Still couldn't tell for my coffee house watching and beach reading under an umbrella what to make of the combination of brightness and reflections on an OLED screen. Will be curious to see what the iPad Pro with Microled offers in that regard.
I would say that these two are not really choices you would have? The iPad Pro 12.9 -v- Tab s7+ as both have similar display sizes and closer in price. The iPad Air is really a rival for the Tab S7 and these are much closer in features and pricing in my region. The base iPad Air is £200+ less than the base Tab S7+ and for me, 64gb is enough as I operate in the Cloud. The Tab S7 is £100 more expensive than the iPad Air at base spec! I do not need or use a pen so that cost is not relevant. For me, apps and performance are my main features that drive my sale. The advantage of the huge performance advantage the iPad has is that it is great future-proofing and that means when the Tab S7+ starts to look slow, the iPad will still be fast. Also, as you say, getting 6-years of updates (twice the Tab S7) is a big advantage. Android tablet apps are hit and miss and with Google no longer supporting Tablets that are not going to ever get much better. Accessories are also a feature. The Tab S7+ keyboard is average and no backlit display makes it very expensive for that major missing feature. The Brydge and Apple keyboards are far superior actually giving a great laptop experience. The display on the Tab S7+ is def a major draw if you use it as a media device but I am wondering for a "pro" device if that is the main use case? As nearly every laptop review on YT suggests, the 3:2 aspect ratio is far better for workflows so the iPad Pro would be my choice as a business choice and the Tab S7+ for gaming and media. Both are great devices and I think you would be happy with either. Interest will be increased next week with maybe the new iPad Pro arriving that will raise the game (and the price!)?
I thought the exact same thing. Is not a fair fight. That air is not supposed so be pro, there is a reason the iPad pro exist. Another thing is that ram is so different on these Android vs iPadOs that you simple can not compare it by numbers. I use Android on my phone my I honestly thing the iPad is still the best choice (at least for me)
I disagree. Right now, at least for me, that samsung tab s7+ is on a sale and is the same price (actually a bit cheaper) than the equivalently specced ipad air. Most videos compared the s7+ with the pro, but I really wanted a comparison with the air, because for me, those were the two options that were in my price range. An ipad pro was way too expensive.
I am sitting here looking at both devices and cant choose :-( love the capability of the Tabs7+ but worried about the lack of proper Tab app support. I was able to get the Tab for 256 GB for $475 thanks to a work discount. I may just keep it because it's the cheaper option and has a better screen.
The tab S7 is just so amazing to use. Still gotta get more accessories though. But other then that, it's really great. I've been a media consumpting, painting, taking notes, etc... It's more things I've done than my ipad pro 2017.
Samsung = poor color accuracy....esp LCDs due to high blooming due to poor processing of LCD unlike LCDs of iPads. Only the oled version of tablets in android tablets has true black but all other colors are way off...so not true or color accurate. iPads are color accurate the way creators intended films etc to be...Also when you take notes, check samuel suresh videos and goodnotes 5 is exclusive to iPads....also check procreate videos on youtube with millions of views and it has most natural looking brush strokes and also exclusive to Apple....all apps are optimized so no lagging even after 2 years....least compression in photo uploads in fb messenger, snapchat and all other social platforms while in android it's clear to you but when you look at it on the person or groupchat you sent it to, the photos and videos ate trashy.....also every stroke of you rpen in iPad is real color and when printed, it's the same color in iPad screen...in android tablets....forget about it.
Have you ever thought of doing a keyboard comparison b/ween the Logitech Combo Touch and the Samsung Book Cover keyboard that has the trackpad? IMO, those 2 would be a more comparable comparison since they both kinda have the same footprint and design. For those that would feel that have to have a keyboard case with their iPad Air or Pro/Galaxy Tab it could possibly help with the buying decision.
Hi I have a genuine question. I've always been an android user and planning to switch. Both iPad air 4 and Samsung Tab S7+ are good but I'm planing to use it for school/editing/drawing and hardcore games I can't decide on what to get. Though instead of Samsung Tab s7 plus I'm thinking of Samsung Tab s7 SE because Tab s7 plus is more expensive.. I'm a bit worried on the screen display of iPad air because it isn't too compact compared to the s7 Plus or s7 SE. There's more black frames on screen display on the iPad compared to Samsung which has nearly full display. Also battery life and as too how long they would last because I'm a broke student I need the tablet to last for a couple of years....
Hi! My iPad Air 2 is over 7 years old now and only started lagging a little on games a month ago! Apple makes these iPads to last. My sis has her iPad for almost 3 years now and as far as I’ve noticed, it hasn’t deteriorated, or at least not that much that you can notice
I've had my Tab S7 Plus and just got the new One Ui update and I've only seen improvements and better performance, battery life, etc! I got it back when it came out in 2020 and it has NOT LET ME DOWN! I use this thing for work, movies, games, and social media here and there. Also, if you're going to use it for school, the Tab S7 comes with the S-Pen where you still have to purchase it with the iPad. Also, Samsung is committed to bringing longer software support to its devices so it should be good for several years to come!
@Lavs & sprinkles I disagree. I've had my tablet for a while and it's only gotten better over time with the One Ui software updates in my experience. My friends iPad Pro is already losing battery faster and faster with each update and they've only had it for 3 years.
@@Smg_Glxy that’s kinda weird then cuz me, my sister, my cousin and loads of my friends all have iPads. My cousins iPad was bought second hand (it’s a very old mini) and he’s been using it for a couple of years now too! U might missed it but he gave a description of both pens saying the Apple Pencil is like writing on a sheet of paper on a hard surface whilst the S Pen is like writing on a notebook. From that information, one can deduce which pen they prefer. I personally prefer writing on notebooks (and therefore, the S Pen).
The iPad Air more directly competes with the S7, not the S7+ so all of the size comparison is moot. You should be comparing the + to the larger Pro. That aside, I really like your videos. iPadOS is just better, and will continue to update and improve to become more powerful like a proper tablet/laptop hybrid OS. Android + Dex is decent, but the software and apps have a long way to go, and it's more limited as a 2-in-1 laptop replacement.
iPad OS can use some improvements. They have so much power but it's stable to be utilized like DeX when it's time to get work done. One Ui on Samsung Tablets is just better and has more visual sense with the software. iPad is very limited and it kinda seems confusing how Apple is marketing their tablets as super powerful, but no desktop-like set-up, like DeX.
If you ever consider doing any professional or high standard work, there is no other choice but Ipad. Apps on Android will let you down, Ipad is a beast.
I agree but all Android needs is a good photo editing app like PS or affinity photo, vector app like affinity designer, or just the Adobe apps, and something more like Lumafusion.

@phil Walton Oh, already two years the Duet App also support Android. I will check it out, if it is as good as on the iPad.

If long term updates and longevity is a priority, iPad any day of the week.
No problem with watching this at the beach the s7+ is fantastic the screen is phenomenal.
@@richflairnbc8527 it's a 600 nits panel and gets a lot of reflections on it. For outdoor use the iPad Pro is better.

It’s all in the apps. Thank god clip studio is on Android as well but it needs an app like procreate, and no infinite painter is not as good, I wish it was, but it isn’t.
