- This is my footage for the 2024 MBKFA 5 Rivers Tournament. The date is 9/21/2024. I decided last minute to fish somewhere I've never been before since the weather would allow it. The winds are on the low side for today so I decided to make a long run (paddle). Bayou heron MS, is where our morning started, and I am paddling over to Bull Bay Bayou. It's a 6 mile journey one way. Hopefully we are able to find a few fish. ;). The lures used for the day are the Unfair Lures Dogwalker, Unfair Lures Smack Tail, and a custom inline spinner made be me.
GREAT VIDEO MR.D!!!! 🐟🎣🎣
Thanks Johnny!
Sweet Reds on the custom lure.
Thank you, it was a good first inshore test. Those reds couldn’t resist.
Heck yeah! 🤙
It’s a great little corner over there. Loaded with fish.
Great trip, I just got into kayak fishing…. Trying to learn all I can. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking out the video! Glad you enjoyed it. I have quite a few videos from coastal AL and MS. I usually will share the launch and general catch location info. Hope you are able to catch a bunch!
Do you also live in the Eight Mile area?
@@SouthAlabamaPiper yeah
6 mile paddle lol how long did it take you to get out there
A little under 2 hours. Not bad if it’s flat in the open water.
Great day of fishing! That last red you caught was awesome to watch him run after you set the hook! Magnificent looking fish.
@@yakkittymackthanks, it was a fun trip. I wish the area was closer to the ramp and I could fish it more often. Reds are a powerful fish
