Had never played a BG game before. Launch day saw 5 close friends all playing, figured I'd check it out on a whim (and had already heard about how there was no micro transactions or any loot box BS). Welp, 120hrs later, Im still going strong... I think I'll have to agree. Fav game of at least the last five years. Looking forward to doing an full evil run after I complete my current goody goody run.
I just finished my first run after like 180 hours and I agree it's a great game

You'd think in this game modders would focus on male characters as well. But no, of course not. The Sims 4 has the same issue. You can find anything at all for females but basically nothing but t-shirts for men
Thank you for explaining the clothing baskets. I was a little confused on whether to get the camp clothing and underwear slot mods because I wasn't sure exactly what they did. This was very helpful.

Please showcase Enhanced Transmog. Wayden and Eralyne have created a much simpler and optimized version of Ultimate Transmog. Enhanced Transmog has compatibility with Basket of Equipment and other mods that add armor skins. It is a proper Transmog mod that doesn't use the camp clothing slot or anything like that like the early Transmog mods did.
I've never played DND, it's pretty challenging, but still fun to learn and with the interesting story lines, and wide range of personalities not to mention beautiful graphics - definitely I'm enjoying the game :D
Its worth noting that Elves and Elvis aren't exactly the same thing. Here in the UK we don't have a Seattle or Portland, but you can find the same species in Camden, Brighton and Bristol. In Japan you'll mostly find them in Akihabra

Would recommend adding chapters to the video, lets people skip to the mod they wanna see. But also, love the Baskets mod, it's great
Thank you for this resource! I just started up a new save last night so I think I'm about ready to start introducing mods to my gameplay. I always like to play at least once without mods so I get the full "intended" experience, and then allow mods to breathe new life into the game.

Got mixed feelings on this one. I'm excited to jump into BG3 when I get done with Sea of Stars (I wanted to frontload a couple of much, much shorter games as I knew BG3 would take over my life), but I never got around to playing BG1 and 2 or D:OS 1 and 2, and I am somewhat afraid playing BG3 first would make it hard to go back to the older ones. I'd probably be OK, but eh. Plus I heard Larian is working on cross-play, so if I wait I could maybe play it with my friend who will get it on PS5.
Don't be. I've never played BG1 or 2 and while I am sure there are little things that I have not caught, it's been absolutely wonderful. I have played DOS2, so ok maybe little things game mechanics wise made sense to me straight away, but as a non-DND player that took me a lot longer to get my head around than any DOS2 system did.
There are a few themes and characters from bg1 and 2, but it's set 100 years after and is completely self-contained. If you have loads of time, bg 1 and 2 are great... D:OS is great too (for the gameplay, the story is a bit too over the top for me)... but bg3 is the best of them all and stands alone well.
its not like they throw in BG1 and 2 characters in or anything >.>
@@easymode Yeah. I’m not worried about missing out on story stuff. Just playing the best one before the older ones impacting my enjoyment of the older ones.
Don't worry about that. D:OS 1 and 2 use a different system to BG3 and that creates loads of nuances that differ in gameplay. These games have aged really well, they have nothing to envy BG3 about.
idk why they changed the implementation of mods from original sin 2 to bg3... but man, all of this work to later almost not see your character clothes because your camera is always at max distance....
I use the Native Camera Tweaks and WASD Character Movement mods so that I can zoom in and run around like a typical third person game, if you are interested in such a thing.

I was searching for some mods the other day, and it's a shame that we have so few clothing options for certain races and body types. Apparently, most mods are made for Shadowheart :(
I agree, I’m also disappointed with the lack of versatility with hairstyles that has to do with curly hair. But hey beggars can’t be choosers 🤷🏾♀️.

I have trouble with the clothing. I can only use the two slots underneath the toggle for default and camp clothes. So I cant mix and match. Any ideas what i did wrong? :(
I have some of these mods, I love them, but, something really annoying is the lack of clothing options for men and strong women, almost all the clothes are made for the female elf/Half-elf/human body number 1. In fact, trying the clothes with the characters, only Shadowheard can use all of them, not even Lae'zel can use them.
I would like to see more noble clothes for men, specially now that I'm playing Wyll who I want he looks more like a noble after we rescued his father!
I feel the same way. It's really annoying. I had a strong girl but had to switch to a small one because the mod didn't work... Luckily, these clothes are mostly available in the game and those versions do work.

I'm playing female body type 1 Tav all the time because they have the best mods ever.
I wish the modders would support the strong body type more
This video is very helpful. I find it important, that things are not just shown, but also explained. And the author explained it well.
Also the Shadow druid backpack in the "Misc Mod" has some nice clothes. But sadly i always get the inscription "Not found" and i can't see half of the items there. Can it be checked also?
new to this game, if i add these mods will it in any way ruin the experience for me, i want to customize the clothing for my character, do you get to do this later in game(find clothing etc), or do you need these mods, also to see clothes instead of amour do you need mod for that?
oddly my game crashed more when i had no mods installed then after i decided to add in a few mods for hair and face it ran better for the most part save for the followers not following glitch i got once
if i wanted to start a new campaign with these mods, and therefore can't save to a certain save file until i make my character, will it affect my other campaigns if i launch the game without saving it to a certain one? I have a MP vanilla campaign going so i dont want to mess that one up. Thank you!

I've just got the PC game and I was playing with mods, Does anyone know a hair mode that works with Highlights, I used Tav's Hair Salon but that won't let you put highlights in the hair, which is a big part of my characters background,

There's plenty of nudity online available if I need it... I don't need to get off to my bg3 characters. Though, there's nothing wrong with nudity. Anyway, on my own, I don't play with the characters running around with their parts exposed because it looks even more ridiculous than the bondage gear.
Hello! I’m playing multiplayer with friends tonight and I want the mods that I have to single player I made a bg 3 mp mod file but idk how to change it to that.
Any way to add those items to vendors and the loot table? I don't like having them all at once for free.
Can I ask a Question for anyone who Plays both PC and PS5, if I got the PC game and got clothes mods for it and stuff, would I see them in my PS5 game if am Cross-Saves??
OMG SO there is kind of a transmog option with showing only the camp clothes ToT I was throwing away so much good gear cause I didn't like the visuals of it lol... Will get these mods NAO!
There is even better transmog mod out now. Enhanced Transmog now is a fully optimized iteration of Ultimate Transmog. Enhanced Transmog has compatibility with any mod that adds armor like Basket of Equipment. It actually places the skin of the armor over top of the original instead of using the camp clothing slot so you can have both transmogged armor and camp clothes.

For me, Vortex is better. Installing collections is really simple and if you have premium nexus account (like 6 euros/dollars w/e) a month, all the mods will be downloaded automatically to Vortex for easy install with instructions if you need to do something manually.

I have the basket camp clothing but I don’t see it. I only have the basket full of equipment. Do I need to download the underwear equipment basket for it to work ?
Did you go to the location on the map to pick up the basket? It's near the ship wreck at the beginning of the game, on the beach. In there, you'll find an amulet to summon it again.

Great video. But I have been using vortex not mod manager. Is there a difference? Does it matter what I use?
Vortex can work... it's easier, but doesn't do some key things. It can cause issues with load order for your mods... if it's working, just do it... if it breaks, I'd switch to mod manager.
I kinda afraid of installing the modes just yet, because they are still patching the game regularly. I will wait.

Which mods did you use? Mine didn't work with face replacement mods... you can also try re-ordering them. Another thing to try, check a different save.
@@easymode well, I can turn it on but it doesn't let me to anything. I have no option to click anything and my screen is fully bugged. I have to save and load the saved file, to get rid of it, because when the bug is there I can't leave that screen at all
I had to uninstall the improved UI mod and the mirror worked for me after that

same problem for me. I have Ellians Hair, Head the baskets and and Tavs hair... also improved UI but I am afraid of disableing it cause its a need for some of these mods... maybe someone will come up with a mirror fixer mod soon? @@easymode

How we know after update the game if we install many mods and one of the mods dont work anymore?
I've never had an issue with the clothing mods, only the camera mods... but the mod makers have always updated them in a day or so. The safest thing to do is disable updates then update manually after the mods are updated

@@FRoSTBiT3z It's in the lower city... one of the first tavern/inns I went to... and I think it had recently had a murder, so nobody wanted to rent the upstairs... so look for that in dialogs.
It's the elfsong tavern, go talk to the bartender and they'll let you rent the whole top floor indefinitely for a relatively small fee@@FRoSTBiT3z
Just Google it. You can just rent it out as soon as you get to the lower city

The majority of aesthetics mods for BG3 appear to have the same problem as the majority of those for Skyrim. "Want to play a JRPG, but for some reason didn't just buy a JRPG?"

If it works... then you're ok. However, mod manager is the recommended/standard thing for BG3. Some mods may have issues... and Mod Manager can do things like save different mod lists specifically for bg3, install overrides (different than regular mods), and install the script extender.
