BRUTALITY!? Filip Filipovic excluded against FTC

Was it actually a brutality? What was the action that resulted in Filip Filipovic “kicking” his leg out of the water.
If you watch the video carefully you can see NBG breakout in a counter attack while FTC defender swims with his head down and goes for the “leg pull” in order to slow down Filip.
Was that supposed to be a kick out as well? Was there intention to kick defender or shake off his grip?
