  • Vans Aircraft RV-7 flight with Micah and later his sister Rachel, from Greene County Lewis A. Jackson Airport (GDK).
Flight over Caesars Creek Lake, near Wilmington Ohio. Very calm air, but careful to avoid rain-cells with lowered visibility and possibly Wet Microbursts (sounds bad enough, right?)
The RV-7 has a "conventional landing gear" arrangement, meaning it has a tail wheel. Conventional for the 1930s anyway. Flys the same as an RV-7A with a nose wheel, but I think it looks better and flies 2 mph faster than the -7A according to Vans Aircraft. Mine is powered by a Barrett Precision Lycoming O-360 carbureted 4-Cylinder engine, and Sensenich fixed-pitch metal prop.
Filmed with a Gopro Hero 4 silver mounted at the top of my vertical stabilizer.
