- A ton of Samsung phones has the issue with the Moisture detected - even when there's no moist near the phone at all. This solution is the quickest I've found over the 2 years I had a Samsung Galaxy S8 with this issue. This fix should work for Galaxy S8, S9, S10, A20, Note 9, Note 10 and a bunch ofhers. Just try it out for yourself. If it doesn't work at all you might be better off getting a wireless charger.
If it doesn't work - try this solution: • Moisture Detected in S...

This has too be one of the dumbest and most frustrating problems on samsung devices. The software should trust the users knowledge that there is no moisture and allow a bypass from system setttings. A few warnings to make sure you understand the risks should be all that is required
It is making me HATE samsung so much

Same condition, samsung tab s4.. but just after 5months
Thanks! It did work and I think I found out why it happened. My Samsung wall charger was broken (not the cord, the piece you plug your cord into) and it was rapidly connecting/disconnecting.

My Galaxy Note 9 was down for over a month until I tried this. Amazing and thank you! Now I hope Samsung sorts this out, first Samsung I've had since about 2013 (iphone since) and like before it great when it works :)
This doesn't work on a Samsung Galaxy S10 (or "no longer works"; maybe it used to work -- phones are very much of a moving target). The phone starts to boot, and gets almost there, but then a new, lengthy text warning message overlays the screen and can't be cancelled.
Same with me, even on my old Galaxy 10+

Yeah but every time you plug it in we'll just permanently fix it or do I have to keep doing that every time it kind of gets annoying after a while?
for the permanent solution? just change the charging port.

Hey guys had this problem myself and after months of playing around with it I found a solution.
Buy a wireless charger and get enough charge on it to atleast be able to get into settings (2-3% would be enough)
GO into settings and into battery usage
Scroll down to ‘Recent Battery Usage’ and find the app ‘Android System’
Tap on that and then tap on ‘Force Stop’. It had a warning that doing that could cause system problems but all it did was take away the ‘Detecting Moisture’ notification and I was able to charge again.
