It works! I've tried so many tutorials and read so many articles... I didn't trust this tutorial because it looks too simple, but it was the only one that worked. Thank you so much!
I have now tried this and it works a treat. Previously I was doing all the other things recommended, like using alcohol, cleaning, hairdryer etc. and none worked. Thank you so much for this simple solution.
Same here, I tried everything else but a factory reset. Saw this video tried it and boom back to normal. Thank you very much. I have tmobile so the Samsung logo doesn't appear but the pink t mobile does, that's when I plugged in the charger and it worked!!
Earlier today, I just encountered this issue with my Note10+, for the first time. Based on what I'm reading it seems there are 2 scenarios where this occurs. 1) Water genuinely gets into the charging area and creates an issue. 2) There's some other software/hardware glitch that occurs where a sensor thinks the charging area of the phone has moisture even though it may not at all. I was in a boat last night where a large wave crashed onboard. We all got a little wet. I was holding my phone in my hand when it happened. The phone didn't seem that wet and worked fine until I woke up this AM and then I noticed the moisture error. I freaked out and started reading up on what could be the issue. I can't afford to be without a phone or be in a situation where the phone won't charge. So I started thinking hard and fast. In the end I took what I had in my hotel room (a hairdryer) and blasted the charging port area for 10 seconds. The moisture error didn't immediately go away but within several minutes it was gone and phone charging was allowed again. My guess is as charging tends to heat up the phone in and of itself that being able to charge the phone again dried up any other residual moisture. So at the end of the day perhaps I lucked out. I've never had this issue before and I think it was likely a legitimate issue where a drop of water may have gotten to a place it didn't belong. There are other instances on here where I'm seeing people who live in the desert with the phone never near water report the same error. I think that may be an entirely completely different software/hardware issue for which there is no easy remedy...
HOLD THE PHONE! Its actually working on my s20!. I know i commmented that this didnt work previously after 1st time trying.... But as i tried 2nd time..its working!!!!! And ive been trying kind of everything this past 3 days! Nothing work till your video. Life saver! Thanks mate!
i am using Samsung S10+ note, my phone dead because i can't charge it, and i follow your instruction step by step, and it works, Thank you Make sure you follow his instruction correctly Edit: 2 weeks after i fix it with this tutorial, suddenly i have same problem again, i follow this tutorial but not working anymore..i dont know why
omg!!! I have been watching a lot of videos about moisture detected errors on samsung but this is the only one that worked! I was about to send my phone to the service center and this video saved me! Thank youuuuu!
F*** me, I was literally just about to take my S22+ apart to replace the usb port (heat gun, heat pad, pry tools, etc already out and set up), then stumbled across this gem. I don't know if it will last, but good on you Mr. & Mrs Anderson. I owe you a good bottle of whisky (there's no fu***** "i" in Whisky, damnit!) if you're ever in Florida, USA.
Wireless charging can help too! Also I think it doesn't turn on or anything is because of all the stuff it managed because the S7 (last phone that's layout was different from the new phones) didn't have it but the S8 and others (phone with this layout) had that
This "moisture detected" bs has happened right after I updated it to the latest software last week... Suspicious asf update: i went to a 3rd party phone repair place and they replaced the port for $50 and took 2 hours. The issue is gone and all functionality is back, including fast charge
Doesn't work for S20 FE, I need to clear the USB settings storage cache but I don't have enough battery to get there. Not sure there is a solution after trying so many things.
hey so well i tryed to do that but when i putted it in it sayd nothing that it was charinging or som, but when the screen turned on it automaticly just gave me the black screen and than started doing some alarm noises like 3 times i have a Samsung galaxy A52
How would this fix the issue? At best, if this actually bypasses the charging, the issue is still there. I'm sorry my friend, I do love that you posted a potential way to get your phone up until next charge, but what about the actual problem? Really respect emergency fix, I used something similar and it worked!
It started turning on. Then I went to a shop to make sure to fix. Was badly scammed... 105€ to do nothing. The guy basically put a price and said he had to replace something that got mould because of water. I took 10min to get the cash and when I came back he was eating a kebab and telling me the phone was fixed. Didn't give me the broken price and didn't give me a receipt. My phone is glitching the screen again now. That's some serious scam but I will ask him the money or I will report those fuc*ers
Simply erase your phone its because of software nothing else mine showing error for past two months and I tried everything but nothing works so finally I decided to erase phone and its works.😉
how many times do i have to try it?? i've done it like a few times still won't go on do you have discord or anything? just so i can text you privatley?'
I heard those dreaded beeps and thought it was my phone again. Awesome work sir.
Glad it helped mate !

It took three tries but if finally worked, guess the timing is critical. Thanks a million.👍
