I fixed my phone cleaning the usb port with a little bit of alcohol and a small piece of cotton then dried for 5 minutes with a hair drier... shut it down before do that.
It’s not working😭😭😭

THIS FEATURE (FLAW) IS MAKING ME CONSIDER SWITCHING BRANDS
here's what worked with my A23 (phone was drained to 0%):
1) connect charger
2) as soon as the zap symbol appears press and hold block and volume down buttons simultaneously until it turns on (has to be BEFORE the water symbol appears)
3) when you see "Samsung powered by Knox" or whatever on the screen DISCONNECT the charger
4) the "powered by knox" line will disappear leaving only "Samsung" (the screen will dim a little), that's when you CONNECT AGAIN THE CHARGER (gotta do it quickly)
5) boom, your phone is now on and charging
I tried everything mentioned here and other video, but nothing works !!!
The only possibility to charge in my case is to power off and plug. After charge power on. Samsung Galaxy S22
I'm sorry. Did the geniuses at samsung not think about the fact that I cant clear my cache if my battery is dead BECAUSE i cant charge my phone?
try to unplug and plug it a few times, and then plug it, hold the power and volume at the same time for 30 seconds
it work to turn on, and then unplug it, wait until u see a single samsung logo in the middle screen, and plug it in a hurry, Notes : samsung ussually has 2 booting animation, the first animation, and the second animation, wait until the second animation to plug it again
Cleaning Cache helped me to charge My Galaxy S20 FE !!! 🤗🤗🤗
It took long to get out water from my phone. Why dont u add a feature to remove the water from the phone
THIS MOISTURE DETECTION IS THE LAST STRAW. I've been using Samsung since 2012 and I will now be shifting brands because my phone no longer charges. I've tried all everything and nothing worked.
Check USB cable as well. Changing cable solved for me.
If you ever tried to dry the charging port and that your phone don't have a wireless charger, then try to remplace the charging port by going to Samsung's repair service something like that
Dont nanny my phone.. if its damaged i will pay for it!
"I don't want to let my phone dry! if it's damaged I will bleed my wallet dry!" is all I heard
@@justinem4117 Yes its my phone I have money let me destroy the things I paid for
When clicking on clear cache it not clearing showing 14.34 Kb as it is
mine is completely dead wioth no water damage, I watch this video and it says go to settings . . .
My wife’s Samsung did the water port charge icon. She did not realize the charger had got something spilled on it and she plugged it in and the circle would not turn green nor did water icon leave until we took a quick-tip and wiped out port then we waited for about 4 hours then phone went back to normal charging water icon gone all good.
I don't know why but putting it the freezer for an hour worked
And after a decade using Samsung, this "feature" is the reason why i'm switching brands.
I have a samsung a34 which doesnt allow wireless charging. It says moisture is present but my phones not got wet. Its dead and unable to charge so i cant get into the app settings to clear usb cache. Stupid feature to the phone.

This is the most annoying "feature" Samsung implemented on their devices... at least give us the option to dismiss ignore it/not completely make our device unusable by not letting us charge. Ridiculous.
Someone help me I have 24+ dry in fan 3 hours plus and still showing same icons moisture warning what can I do

Thhat is happening to me right now with an s22 and i never drop it in water and still meant to be waterproof happened to with the s8 too all ur tps dont help i think too is software or hardware problem
Worked bro thank you so much
absolute nonsense. this has happened to me 4 times, and out of those 4 times, only 2 involved water. at least make an "emergency override" option!!
fun fact: those other 2 times were me waking up in the middle of the night (1st time 4 am, 2nd time 6 am) and forgetting to plug it in. no water at all, or i drool or shed tears in my sleep.
The fact that the software forces your phone not to charge is ridiculous, its my phone that I paid for you should not stop me from trying to charge it, a warning is all it should be. Never buying a Samsung again.
I microvaved my phone and it won't work 😢 It charges with a different charger but not the fast charger
WHAT
@@darthwater999 yeah
My S9 gets this error if it is charging in the car and I forget to disconnect USB cable before turning off the car.
Drop my phone in water, the USB port kept going back and forth from turning off due to water detection.
Now M
m 1:47 y battery is total depleted, and now the USB port will not let me charge. Any ideas how get around this?
Maybe try using a wireless charger to get some battery and then clearing the USB cache in the settings

What happens if that appears when my battery lowly dies
Why give ad water dust resistant? ?
Why mines charging and having this icon only on the top?⚠
That's good and all until the phone doesn't power on and is stuck on that screen at charge-time

Is it working now? Is yes, then what did you do?
my battery died before i clear the cache now i gotta take it to the service...
Realllyy???? Could we have an option to stop this moisture detection BS!!!!! It's 2024 and Samsung doesn't have a solution for this!!!!
Because of this "safety function" i will never buy a samsung phone again.
USELESSSS FKINNNN TECHNOLOGYYYY, WHEN RAINNY HERE, THOSE FKINN ALERT POOPIN UP LIKE EVRYGIME I CHARGE, I REGRWT BUY THIS FKIN SAMSUNG, CANT USE WHEN URGENT, FKIN

Samsung a33 5g
They forgot the part about the heat and not charging once at 100 and battery dropping down quickly
i put my phone on the freezer bcs of gaming hahaha and this future really works!
I'll never buy a Samsung again with this stupid features
all of these were not working on my samsung s10 plus.
same samsung s10plus
Did not work
TL;DW "Dry it" They don't mention any work around for when this "feature" is buddy and stops you charging for no reason.
The only possibility to charge in my case is to power off and plug. After charge power on. Samsung Galaxy S22, I think my last samsung (had so far S8, S9, S10, S20) if they do not provide bug fix or possibility to switch off this water detector.
How can I clear the cache when I am dead
The only possibility to charge in my case is to power off and plug. After charge power on. Samsung Galaxy S22
Once i got this message and like the idiot i am, i kept charging it.
I've done all of that and it still doesn't work. I had my phone in my pocket about 6 weeks ago during a rain storm. I think it fare to say that it has dried out completely since then. I'm never buying another Samsung that's for sure.
This is insane. Trying to charge my phone for 2 days. Nothing worked. This stupid feature is totally useless
Never ever gonna buy a Samsung again because of this
Struggled to watch this with the eardrum stabbing background noise you call "music".
The S21 won't charge because its wet, but also wont charge because its cold. WTF. And WTF does USB cache have to do with charging. Other than planned obsolescence.
Dont buy samsung anymore very stupid the software
