Moisture Has Been Detected in Your Charger Usb Port Samsung Galaxy - 2 Ways to Charge the Phone

  • Samsung Galaxy phones very often run into this issue "Moisture detected in your charger / usb port EVEN though there hasn't been any water near it and there's seemingly no easy way around it. If you can't charge your phone it's battery is probably going to die making it even harder to have a useful Samsung Galaxy device. These are two workarounds that I found and can really recommend if you are having this issue.
If your phone is completely dead - just plug it in until the sensor comes on and then use one of these work arounds.

I found a way of clearing the message. Cut a small strip of the sticky bit of a POST IT. Insert it into the port as far as it will go. Then insert the charger. Pull it out. Cut another piece and do the other side of the port. I pulled out some small debris (dust??) and now the error msg has gone.👍

      Thank you.
      1)power + voldown didn't work,
2)plug in when SAMSUNG logo didn't work,
3)You recommendation with Post-it strips cut down to the width of the male inside the phone WORKED!!!
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE POWER CABLE Is not connected to the WALL when you do this stuff!!!
3.1)first post-it strip for top part of male inside of the phone, plug in power cable snug and take it out
3.2)second post-it strip for bottom part of male inside the phone, plug in power cable snug and take it out
after doing so the actual power cable had crap in it not post-it note stuff...it was the same beige fur ball stuff as you would find in the inside of a jean pocket. I got it out using an exact-o knife. It was a false message I think...It was debris in the phone charger not moisture!!!

Just happened to me suddenly, and the phone (A32) was COMPLETELY dry. What worked for me (so far) and after trying a lot of different methods, is wait for the notification to disappear and then from the battery settings I switched off the fast charging option. When i turned it on again the phone started beeping again like crazy. So, I'm pretty sure that this is a huge bug which has nothing to do with moisture (in my case anyways).

Let me share an other solution tip: It's almost the same of the first one you have presented; Turn off the cellphone and then plug the charging cable; When the charging icon appears, hold the bixby/power and Volume UP together for a few seconds. When the cellphone vibrates, you can release the buttons. The cellphone will still be turned off but will start charging. After that, turn on the cellphone and the message should disappear.
I've had success trying another way (less efficient than above) where I wait for the battery to run out completely; I try to turn on the operating system a few more times to ensure that the battery will not have enough charge and then I am able to charge the phone without receiving the drop moisture warning.
Next time I have this issue, I'll try your propose solution (power and volume down).
Thanks for the tips on this stressfull issue.

I have a problem with the A52s 5g device with a moisture problem in the charging port of a phone. I tried this method shown in the video, and it did not work. I also tried a hair dryer, but it did not work. Can you solve it please?

Hey, the way you've been spamming all my videos are not ok.
This seems to not work on A52 in particular. Many people have said the same. I have no further recommendations.

Thank you for this video, had the same problem lately with my phone. In the store they told me that turning off the fast charge would work, however they said that i need to do a servise to my phone because if moisture is inside it can create other problems. Anyone that had done this? Thanks !!

I can't thank you enough!!! I tried so many methods and just gave up 3 months ago but I'm tired of wireless charging so I thought to search for solutions again.
What worked was the 2nd method BUT I did it without draining the battery. My battery was at 90% cause I didn't want to wait for it to drain and it still worked!
    1. I turned off my phone
    2. Boot it up again and wait for the "samsung" logo to plug in my charger
    3. When it booted, the notification FINALLY went away

I have a relatively new Samsung Galaxy A53 and the volume down and power button does not work for me. The phone just starts as normal and starts complaining about moisture. If I keep holding the vol down and power button, it just shows Samung, then Samsung Galaxy, then repeats as long as I am holing that down. So it is stuck in an endless startup loop. The second method doesn't work for me either. Unfortuntely this phone only has about 20% left and doesn't support wireless charging. I have tried charging in safe mode as well and that didn't fix it either.
