Moisture Has Been Detected in Your Charger Usb Port Samsung Galaxy - 2 Ways to Charge the Phone

- Samsung Galaxy phones very often run into this issue "Moisture detected in your charger / usb port EVEN though there hasn't been any water near it and there's seemingly no easy way around it. If you can't charge your phone it's battery is probably going to die making it even harder to have a useful Samsung Galaxy device. These are two workarounds that I found and can really recommend if you are having this issue.
If your phone is completely dead - just plug it in until the sensor comes on and then use one of these work arounds.

That second method basically just put your charger in when you see Samsung, I was thinking that's never gonna work . THANK YOU After trying so many different methods the most basic
First method did not work for me after trying five times. Second method worked straight away, great video, you are helping a lot of people!
Did not work for me
Thank you for your kind words. I am very happy that I have helped you. Keep smiling.
OMG your a life-saver. Been having this problem since Christmas eve, the guy who fixes my phone even replaced the charging port but still the same thing. Fixed my samsung(A33) right up!
Thank you so much, first i thought i would need to go get it fixed but with you i saved my money. Worth subscribing
yes I love hearing that!
Thank you so much the 2nd method worked, I was becoming insane after trying all the solutions !!
My boyfriend has the A53 this water thing happens all the time 😩 but usually switching chargers works but it didnt this time , the second suggestion that was given worked great I plugged the phone up till it cut on then unplugged and plugged back in when I saw galaxy! Now it is charging thanks for saving me the stress
This method works!! I wasted 1hr of trying different methods and this one worked for me thank you so much!!!
Worked on my daughters tablet. Thanks a lot she will be happy once back from school
1st solution worked for me! Thank you! I have a hard time wireless charging especially when I'm driving and using power bank
Thank you, Thank you...the second way cleared the moisture notification, wish I'd discovered your video a week ago!!
You're a genius thank you! We struggled for so long couldn't turn on the phone since yesterday morning and then the second trick you said worked for us! Samsung A52s
Thank you very much. They coasted me to repear this for 50 bucks.Second way helped to me.Have a good day.
yeah man thanks for this, saved my phone. A33 drained empty... charged made a water error. Never happened before. But the second method worked, thank you so much!! - S-Africa!!
I un plugged the phone started it, then plugged it back in and problem was solved. But your data helped a lot too thank you!
I tried your trick on my s9 & it worked. Thanks dear , you solved my big problem of not charging my s9 due to some faulty design .
I used a combination of both methods, and it worked! Thank you so much
Thx so much brother 2nd option really works even though i dont have a fast charger. Thx so much for this informative video.
thank you sooo much for this tip the second suggession worked great for me my phone swiched off randomley .this video helped me a lot
I can't thank you enough for this video. This has been driving me mad. I run my own joinery business so I need my phone to work. I have just watched this short straight to the point video and it has worked. Thankyou so much!
GREAT to be able to help that well!
Thanks Mate this works like charm even in 2023. Just fixed it on my s10
Perfect! i did that and works again, without warn humid ! Thank you so much
First method worked for me. Thanks man 💪🏾
I found a way of clearing the message. Cut a small strip of the sticky bit of a POST IT. Insert it into the port as far as it will go. Then insert the charger. Pull it out. Cut another piece and do the other side of the port. I pulled out some small debris (dust??) and now the error msg has gone.👍
Interesting! I never tried or heard about that solution :)
Thank you for this. Fixed my issue.
Rambo is happy to hear this
Hey it worked! Life saver tip, thanks!
Thank you.
1)power + voldown didn't work,
2)plug in when SAMSUNG logo didn't work,
3)You recommendation with Post-it strips cut down to the width of the male inside the phone WORKED!!!
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE POWER CABLE Is not connected to the WALL when you do this stuff!!!
3.1)first post-it strip for top part of male inside of the phone, plug in power cable snug and take it out
3.2)second post-it strip for bottom part of male inside the phone, plug in power cable snug and take it out
after doing so the actual power cable had crap in it not post-it note stuff...it was the same beige fur ball stuff as you would find in the inside of a jean pocket. I got it out using an exact-o knife. It was a false message I think...It was debris in the phone charger not moisture!!!
The first method worked. Thank you so much!
Hi can I ask u a ? My phone only does it when I plug my aux in, any idea how to navigate around this issue, also thanks for thr video
Thank you very much. I am from Yemen. I followed your method and it succeeded
Cool tricks. Just reanimated my old fully discharged S3 tablet by massaging with various plug-in power-on sequences
Second method works wonders. Thank you sooo much!
Thank you so much, you just save loads of stress and money
Thanks for this helpful tips. Worked in my samsund s20 fe
Which trick worked?
The second method worked straight away for me, Thank you!

Thank you so much! your tips are the only ones that have helped me with my a52 issue, and that includes tmobile, and the repair shop in the local shopping mall. Thanks a million!
My phone has died and has been stuck on this moisture detector for the past 6 hours, nothing works getting annoyed and frustrated
@@romamn3997same situation 😭 what to do now
Was having a problem with turning on my phone thank you it worked
Great to be able to help out! 👌
I had this and knew my phone hadn't been in contact with any water. The first solution got the charging wire to work for me! So thank you so much! To get rid of the notification - settings, find android system and force stop it 👍🏻
me too man. Mine worked with the 2nd method. My phone was completely dry and the noti came up when i plugged in my charger to my phone. Thank you for the tips btw
Me jebin james same problem for me after replacing the board, after I clear -android system data and now my phone is fine

Thank you . The second part worked for me
You are a life saver. I am on holiday tomorrow. It is crazy how these things happen at the most inconvenient times. Your technique has worked and I am very thankful. #samsunga53
thankyou so much it actually worked for me🙏🙏❤
Thanks Bro! You're a lifesaver
Honest to who, my phone works now! Thank you!
Just happened to me suddenly, and the phone (A32) was COMPLETELY dry. What worked for me (so far) and after trying a lot of different methods, is wait for the notification to disappear and then from the battery settings I switched off the fast charging option. When i turned it on again the phone started beeping again like crazy. So, I'm pretty sure that this is a huge bug which has nothing to do with moisture (in my case anyways).
the exact same thing happened to me and i have no idea what to do
@@kbplays982 you may refer my above method if you never try.
right will get them those motherfuckers
THIS! Switching off Fast Charging and turning it on again fixed it for me. Please pin this comment as it's a valid solution.
@@arhum1224 Thank you this worked for me also 💪😎
Thanks alot
The second method with laptop adapter worked.
THANKS MAN.. 2ND METHOD WORKED FOR ME ON SAMSUNG A73
Hello! My Samsung A54 experienced same issue. I tried the first solution and after many attempts it worked. I also disabled the fast charging. Does this mean my phone is okay to be used as usual or can I expect same issue in the near future??
I just fix my phone. Thank you very much for sharing a good tips.
Second method worked for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im thankful
thank you so much, this tecnic working
second solution worked, thank you so much
Is it safe? I found my port dry and have already cleaned as good as i can. But it still have the water drop icon. Still unsure if this method is safe. Please help
This helps, thanks alot
dude I tried everything on google, then I came across this video. In the comments everyone was saying that first didn work so directly tried second. Didn't work I was so sad coz I didn have the budget to buy new phone but then I tried first one and BAM IT DID. Thanks❤
Great to be able to help!! :)
Thank you lots brother very help full brother
thanks so much for the info..
Tried the sticky note method below, but it ended up getting stuck. So wrapped tissue paper around the end of my Swiss army knife toothpick and shove that in the port to clean it. Swapped paper 4 times. Has worked so far!
Thank u soooo much it is really working 😭🙏
second way worked, Galaxy S20, perfect thanks

Thank you. I really appreciate your contribution.
ty so much my phone died and i couldnt get it charged bcz i was coming up i tried so many methods but it worked finally
Second method working well thanks a lot
First one works for me thanks
1:08 this solution worked for samsung a54. other methods didnt work. thank you.
A million thanks to you huhuhuhu it works ;) 😅
Thankyou so much
Came here in search for this isse, but mine worked after clearing/cleaning with a toothbrush and tissue with folded tip. Also, blew warm air using hair dryer. So in short had to use all the tricks. Now back with Superfast charging.
This happened to me been battling for 3 days finally I fixed it by letting it die all the way on its own to zero and then charging it with cable let it get to like 20 percent then turn it on with cable still inside. Btw I also blow dried it before doing this. Hope it helps.
Thank you
worked thanks a lot
Thanks 👍🏽
THANK YOU OML
It worked on my samsung a52s. Thanks a lot
same
It didn't work for my A53. Was it the volume down and power button that worked for you?
It didn't work for me
This method work together with clear data of USB settings.
Second solution worked 🙏🏼
Thank U Bro It's Work On My Note 20 Ultra
Samsung a52s user, problem solved. thank you so much for saving my money
I have the Samsung a52 5G lol
Samsung a 52 5g not solved
Let me share an other solution tip: It's almost the same of the first one you have presented; Turn off the cellphone and then plug the charging cable; When the charging icon appears, hold the bixby/power and Volume UP together for a few seconds. When the cellphone vibrates, you can release the buttons. The cellphone will still be turned off but will start charging. After that, turn on the cellphone and the message should disappear.
I've had success trying another way (less efficient than above) where I wait for the battery to run out completely; I try to turn on the operating system a few more times to ensure that the battery will not have enough charge and then I am able to charge the phone without receiving the drop moisture warning.
Next time I have this issue, I'll try your propose solution (power and volume down).
Thanks for the tips on this stressfull issue.
Thanks this idea really works for my phone thanks
thank you, the vomume up worked whilst the down didnt. it switched my phone on and got passed the water moisture screen :)
Looks like it did work for my a53 too
Worked for me today! Thank you so much bro! Samsung A53.
Life saver! Thank you
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
My s20fe had this problem and I cleared the port but the error insisted. After I pluged în the phone while it was starting,it worked.
I had the same problem on my a50 2 years ago but I didn t think to do this.I hope it will work for it also.
Hey,
I have S20 Fe and there is no batter at all. The minute the phone starts, it gets switched off again. Any suggestions pls? I followed everything from the video.
@@bhanuvarshinimacherla5432 then there is nothing you can do by yourself, you need to take it to a repair shop
Try replacing the charger connector cable. A ~$6 cable fixed this issue on my S10+
Cheers mate
Thank you so much, plugging my charger in on the Samsung sign just worked on my phone that had been sat in a box of rice all day but was still saying moisture detected. I paid 50 euros the last time this happened, wish I'd seen this video before!
tip: usually, the crossed cable means that the *cable* has moisture in it. if you have another charger, you can try with that one.
Def not the case with this error. It's software only.
Thanks
The problem is the charging port. Replace that and the problem will go forever, can buy new charging ports cheap and easy to install. Plenty of vids on youtube.. i fit these daily
But heres the wierd problem. A BUNCH of us JUST started having this happen on our Samsungs. Out of the blue. Mine started March 3rd day of an update.
Then my Moms phone started doing it about 2 weeks later rigjt after ANOTHER forced update.
Then my best friends phone started doing it end of March. (One of my Moms friends did it twice this month, but hasn't done it again... so far, lol. )
There's nooooo way we ALL have bad ports ya know ,lol.
SOMETHING is going on the last 2 months. And I'm finding more +more ppl online having this same problem recently !
😬🤯😂
Crazy right !
@@skylerrainnnj exactly
life saver bro
I'm still using my S8! Wondering why you haven't upgraded yet?
I'm on s21 now but i don't have the issue on that one so can't make a video based of it 😆
thanks a mill - first time this has ever happened to me and not been near ANY water etc. I plugged it in, it stated the warning so I restarted phone while still plugged in and problem solved :)
1st solution worked for me
Yep seems like the second method works like a charm
I have a problem with the A52s 5g device with a moisture problem in the charging port of a phone. I tried this method shown in the video, and it did not work. I also tried a hair dryer, but it did not work. Can you solve it please?
Hey, the way you've been spamming all my videos are not ok.
This seems to not work on A52 in particular. Many people have said the same. I have no further recommendations.
Thank you for this video, had the same problem lately with my phone. In the store they told me that turning off the fast charge would work, however they said that i need to do a servise to my phone because if moisture is inside it can create other problems. Anyone that had done this? Thanks !!
dude you're a life saver...the first method didn't work at all but the second one worked on my first try 😭😂 no way did i want to tell my boss that moisture broke my company phone. but thank you.
I can't thank you enough!!! I tried so many methods and just gave up 3 months ago but I'm tired of wireless charging so I thought to search for solutions again.
What worked was the 2nd method BUT I did it without draining the battery. My battery was at 90% cause I didn't want to wait for it to drain and it still worked!
1. I turned off my phone
2. Boot it up again and wait for the "samsung" logo to plug in my charger
3. When it booted, the notification FINALLY went away
OMG thank you so much! Without this video im probably gonna go to a repair shop my phone was ding a moisture alert but when i did the first methdo it works thank you so much!!!
I have a relatively new Samsung Galaxy A53 and the volume down and power button does not work for me. The phone just starts as normal and starts complaining about moisture. If I keep holding the vol down and power button, it just shows Samung, then Samsung Galaxy, then repeats as long as I am holing that down. So it is stuck in an endless startup loop. The second method doesn't work for me either. Unfortuntely this phone only has about 20% left and doesn't support wireless charging. I have tried charging in safe mode as well and that didn't fix it either.
Same here! Did you ever fix it?
I have same problem right now :(
