    The ship is heavy but light on water. We may carry the heavy burden on our shoulder, but Jesus is the force that let us float on the water of chaos and ease our burdens. Glory be to Jesus!

    That’s why it’s so important to allow God to transform your life. To die to yourself, take up your cross, and following Him means killing your flesh and showing you what real life is!
    Give God everything. God will replace your ego with humility. He is the only one worthy of worship!
    Don’t harden your heart towards Him.

      This was encouraging to read. The only problem is that its so hard to kill your flesh and walk with your cross everyday, like what will be left after everything is gone i wanted and was.
      Its scary

I've given up so much, sadly some was because I had to but some was because I met him in my time of need and let go of so much of my dreams that I wanted to achieve in my life, when my life turned upside down it was such a big wake up call to who really is important and I found that to be God.

    I deal with this a lot because It felt like putting up a facade a lot as a Christian especially at Church and at my Young Adults Bible Study until I had to admit as a start I need to stop thinking negative thoughts on people's words and actions. Its not the real me and the real me would never do that. Its what made me stop friendships from working out and I didn't know how to deal with it but I realized as a Christian I need to love on other people and I'm not perfect. I'm saying this with being genuine and humility and that's what I desire to be transformed from God. I'm not sure where my future is but that's what I have to go to God about. He knows my future and my desire currently is to really read my Bible again not because it's some chore or to look good but I want to know more and it's my defense and comfort.

    Recently I've been struggling to trust God because of all the negatives that have happened after trusting him. I struggle to believe that he has my best interest at heart. Even in the phrase 'there's purpose in the pain', I wonder; is there really or does he just not care enough to do something about it. and ofc I feel so much shame saying this, I feel like I'm in a dark hole with no escape and I feel bad that God has to deal with someone like me. Even if things got better Idk what the point is anymore. I really feel when Job said he curses the day he was born

    The conviction is strong with this video, especially the talk about letting go of your grip on your dreams. I've heard it before in the past and was left confused, because how is someone supposed to let go of their future? It's impossible to actually let go, because we'll inevitably think of our futures just as we move throughout life. But the way it's articulated here made it finally click - we have to let go of *clinging to our dreams*, and idolizing them as a way to finally have peace and be fulfilled. God, in whatever situation, good or bad, has to be our fulfillment and happiness as a constant. My brain is boggled in a good way! Thanks so much for this video 🕺❤️

I've been single for a year and a half now and feeling like "maybe I'm ready for a relationship now" but this video helped me to realize me that constantly being worried about how things are going with this girl or that girl is not what it looks like to be content in your singleness and this video showed me that I just wanted that because it would maybe give my identity some foundation but that is not in God's power so it is in my power and that is not for me. Thank you for your wisdom, I pray to be as strong of a man as you are.

    There are a few areas in my life this could be referring to. The one that scares me is the financial one as I have been saving up for years now for a house and idk if I could just give up all the money that I have. I know that it is for serving a purpose which is a down payment but the thought of letting it go is kinda scary. Then the other road is the career one. For years now I have wanted a certain job that I have always wanted to do. I have wondered if I ever will get it and have told God in the past that I give it up for him or something like that. But I still long for it and dream about having it and even applied for it again. It may be something so minor in this world but it was something that I always wanted to do.

    Issac doesn’t explain what’s happens when you work to give up everything for God- all sins, family, friends, possessions, desires, dreams - to the point that you have no idea what could possibly be left - and you still don’t hear him or feel him at all 😢😢😢

    • @fizz_bit
      @fizz_bit 4 месяца назад

      It's difficult to believe you've given up ALL sins and desires. I'm not saying you haven't tried and put effort, but maybe you should let go of the idea of being an outwardly good Christian and focus more on your true feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Sometimes these feelings are masked, so you have to think deeply. Do your thoughts hint at jealousy, wrath, etc?

    • @breesty4229
      @breesty4229 4 месяца назад

      @@fizz_bit Are you saying that giving up all sins and desires is impossible? If so, that seems to go counter to Issac's video. Have YOU? If you and plenty of other Christians claim to, why do you doubt me when I say I have? Yes, it's possible that there are desires contrary to God's will still lurking deep in my concious and I haven't identified it yet. But I can confidently say, yes, I have given up all sins and desires to the best of my knowledge. Do I still struggle with them? Of course, but the point is I don't let them control me. The desire to feel God and know him still sits there vacant, and I have no relationship with him as a result. To answer your second question, no, I don't think my thoughts hint at jealousy and wrath. Sometimes they rarely do, but I know when to recognize it. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong to feel him :(

    Guys the only way to heaven is believing! You can’t get to heaven by getting baptized, going to church, reading the bible, praying, being in assembly fellowship, trying to follow all the commandments to the best of you ability, or anything else! You can’t get yourself to heaven. If we could get to heaven by our own works, Christ would never have had to die. The only way to heaven is to believe that Jesus died on the cross for you! He payed for all your sin! Believe he died for you, accept that he took all you sin, and you can be sure you will be in heaven. Many people think things like baptism, etc will get them to heaven. This isn’t the case, the bible says, that he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not shall not see life but the wrath of god abideth on him. Go to John 3:16, John 3:36, Roman’s 5:6-7, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 19:30

    Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah- the Son of the living God. He is the One through whom we obtain eternal salvation from sin and death by His blood shed on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. And this Man whom God raised from the dead, He has also exalted as Lord over all to be testified of as the One by which He will judge the world in righteousness on the day He has appointed. And now He commands all men everywhere to repent and believe the testimony given of His Son for the remission of sins.
    ‭Acts 16:30-31 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

    Sorry, I just clicked on this video to ask about something. Don't worry, I'll watch the video after.
    I just got off the phone with my mom. She claims to be a Christian, yet she is so infuriatingly narcissistic! She's always pressuring me to get baptized, and I do want to get baptized. But the way she pressures me, taints the meaning behind it, I would feel I'm gonna be baptized for her, and not for God or me.
    I tell her I'd want to do it, because I chose to, and not cause I was pressured to, and she says "Well, tell it to the judge when you stand before Him".
    It's like she's so confident that I'm gonna die before trying to get baptized.
    She's always so confident that we (her children) think she's crazy and are against her because she's a Christian and believes in God. I am Christian (at least I try to be), but she never tries to see that.
    So, if I finally get a chance to be baptized, should I invite her? Most likely she's gonna parade around telling everyone it's all thanks to her, and not God or me as an adult making the decision. Or should I do this on my own?
    And I just needed to rant. Cause looking for advice on this on Google is pretty much nonexistent.

    • @j_peregrin3036
      @j_peregrin3036 4 месяца назад +2

      I believe baptism is a rebirth into the holy family. This is why Christians must be baptized; to become a "little Christ" you must be adopted as a child of God the Father, which makes you Christ's sibling.
      My point is, if you get baptized, it's not just for God and yourself, but also for your mother and everyone else in the universal church, since we come together as a spiritual family.
      Yes, I think you should invite your mother to your baptism. I apologize if this sounds harsh, but what she thinks and how she acts falls on her, not you. This can be difficult, but you need to pray for your mother (which you may already do), especially if you think she's aggravating, self-righteous and self-absorbed. Moreover I think inviting her is a way of keeping ties with her instead of risking severing them.

    • @rubenCh
      @rubenCh 4 месяца назад

      Love Christ, hate your family. That means in your case: if His love compelles you to go into the water:go and let your mother be your mother whatever comes out of her mouth good or bad. If she is comming to your baptism it should be to see christs resurection in you. If she comes for other reasons, than thats on her and for her to find out the foily of those reasons and repent. You can not make her repent, nor is it your job to talk reason into her. I know it will be hard to bite your tongue, and dont worry if you cant. But do what you know you have to do.
