I relate to that bro , I live up on the mountains(of Pakistan) in a small house totally off grid with my wife and no one else, we are visited by lot of birds, few dogs, goats and cows, its peaceful.
I'll be 61 next month. Had two wives (10 years each) and had to sue both for divorce. I've mostly lived alone for the last 20 years, and have enjoyed the same GF for 17 years. I have my own place and she has hers. Works out great. No drama. We were blessed to be born and grow up prior to the internet age. I had an ideal childhood growing up on the farm. I mostly worry for my two daughters and my grandchildren going forward. I've found peace in my church and gave my second sermon in March. It's my mission to bring as many people back to the Lord as I can, and especially younger folks. It's the best way to build a better nation!

People as a whole need to overwhelmingly get off of social media/dating apps altogether. It isn't a shock that our society completely went sour somewhere between 2009-2010 and on. It's all tied back to socializing being replaced by social media.

Hey I know dating sucks and I'm not trying to make it sound like a fun experience. But I've noticed that, when I lowered my standards, it always got worse. The fact that you keep trying to impress them is the reason they don't like you. I started dating and married my husband because I met him off line (at karaoke) and he was real and genuine with me. We talked for several weeks before he even asked me out. I got to see how he acted around his friends and my friends. I got to see the real him. That never happens online or in any situation where men are hitting on women. You have to build trust first and that takes time.

I am 24 years old, am a loner,, and have not socially talked to a girl outside work place or family in 4 years.. Most would probably think it is sad but I have never been happier. I have lost 45 pounds, fully gave myself to god, got a career job, and get to travel and spend time with family peacefully. It’s not remotely the same. Women have their issues but it’s not relatable as our mating goals are adversarial. 34 here, no kids, just enjoying life as it comes. A little worried about my future but focusing on myself now. I was a chef and all the time I went out drinking with the girls after work. Sometimes it would be me or just two of us cooks and like 5 - 7 women. 😮 that’s interesting. I’m starting to believe that married people in general approach single people because married men absolutely approach me, they have no shame. Just last year when I had literally just turned 18 an old married man grabbed my butt in church. In church!
I didn't give up, I just chose to be single and unavailable after many bad break ups and failed pursuits. The chase just wasn't fun anymore. This happened for me 11-12 years ago, it was hard at first, but you actually get used to being alone. There is more value to me as an individual person other than what I bring to the table financially. And there it is, the reminder why I chose to go my own all those years ago and why I still hold the same decision to this day.

I've worked in the medical field the last 22 years working predominantly with women. This man is absolutely right about how the game is played. I was able to almost triple my pay by simply being willing to work 60-70hour work weeks. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy, but I was paying off all my debt and now I’m investing over 2000 a month and getting secure. I also decided to continue living with my former spouse since we have such a low mortgage and low interest rate on our home. People look at me cross eyed for that, but I’m only paying 650/mn for my house and I’m banking money. Setting myself up for the future but doing what I need to do now. My spouse, who is a close friend now, complains about money but she drives an expensive car, eats out five times a week and doesn’t want to work extra. You can’t complain if you’re not willing to put in the work
I realized I can't and never had it in me to play the "back stabbing" game in thw work world. I've always been a confrontational guy, if we have a problem, we'll handle it. I couldn't last in a system where part of your job is to make sure no one takes yours. Even if you get people fired. Even by the closest person you know. Option #3 is where I am at. After the corporate world was a disaster I returned to option #3 with more vigor. It's all I had and I am glad in retrospect I got fired because I would have had to become back stabbing and butt kissing to adapt. For better or for worse, that will never be me. So you're right. I relate to that bro , I live up on the mountains(of Pakistan) in a small house totally off grid with my wife and no one else, we are visited by lot of birds, few dogs, goats and cows, its peaceful.
I'll be 61 next month. Had two wives (10 years each) and had to sue both for divorce. I've mostly lived alone for the last 20 years, and have enjoyed the same GF for 17 years. I have my own place and she has hers. Works out great. No drama. We were blessed to be born and grow up prior to the internet age. I had an ideal childhood growing up on the farm. I mostly worry for my two daughters and my grandchildren going forward. I've found peace in my church and gave my second sermon in March. It's my mission to bring as many people back to the Lord as I can, and especially younger folks. It's the best way to build a better nation!

The fact that you keep trying to impress them is the reason they don't like you. I started dating and married my husband because I met him off line (at karaoke) and he was real and genuine with me. We talked for several weeks before he even asked me out. I got to see how he acted around his friends and my friends. I got to see the real him. That never happens online or in any situation where men are hitting on women. You have to build trust first and that takes time.

I am 24 years old, am a loner,, and have not socially talked to a girl outside work place or family in 4 years.. Most would probably think it is sad but I have never been happier. I have lost 45 pounds, fully gave myself to god, got a career job, and get to travel and spend time with family peacefully. I encourage every guy to try to stop socializing with women and see how much peace comes into your life when you do.

They begged me not to do this due to a couple of new projects that I was involved in. Straight truth. Wish somebody told me this when I was 19 yrs old. I'm 53 now and still a loser with no kids, never been married and renting a room struggling making minimum wage in CA. Even though I earned a diploma never been to prison, working hard being honest and fair gets you no where.

30+ years of being the good ol' church guy just to see sad married men and harlots mostly. Sure there's good moments but it's not worth that life, the constant sacrifice. Soon as I "gave up" on the game and started playing my own I really do love my life and can die happy here on out. It's all bonus come what may for me.
absolutely right! it sucks to be under constant attack 24/7! as a young man I thought that the great life was the married/working life! I soon found out how wrong I was! if I could do it all over again, I would have stayed in the military and retired in my 40s and stayed single! it's just not worth all the bullshit you have to go through to be in a relationship with someone who wants someone you're not!
I've worked in the medical field the last 22 years working predominantly with women. This man is absolutely right about how the game is played. It's been really hard as a man having to navigate in my job all these years. Ive never been into playing games, so I've learned to focus on work & clock in clock out and the last 10 yrs I've decided no small talk and no friends at work either. People like me or not, I do not care one bit

I disagree with that. I actually find the jungle to be more civilized in comparison to human society. What we say about the animals is really our projections of ourselves. There’s nothing more uncivilized than a human being. A tiger is uncivilized, it’s supposed to be a predator. Humans, we pride ourselves on being more than our base desires. How’s that going for us these days?
And we have the conceit to call the jungle uncivilized, I find nothing more insulting than to call humanity a higher species.

So true bro, but so many are not willing to put in the work/sacrafice. I’m a nurse and, through covid, there’s been plentiful overtime with insane pay bonuses. I was able to almost triple my pay by simply being willing to work 60-70hour work weeks. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy, but I was paying off all my debt and now I’m investing over 2000 a month and getting secure. I also decided to continue living with my former spouse since we have such a low mortgage and low interest rate on our home. People look at me cross eyed for that, but I’m only paying 650/mn for my house and I’m banking money.
Setting myself up for the future but doing what I need to do now. My spouse, who is a close friend now, complains about money but she drives an expensive car, eats out five times a week and doesn’t want to work extra. You can’t complain if you’re not willing to put in the work

I realized I can't and never had it in me to play the "back stabbing" game in thw work world. I've always been a confrontational guy, if we have a problem, we'll handle it. I couldn't last in a system where part of your job is to make sure no one takes yours. Even if you get people fired. Even by the closest person you know. Option #3 is where I am at. After the corporate world was a disaster I returned to option #3 with more vigor. It's all I had and I am glad in retrospect I got fired because I would have had to become back stabbing and butt kissing to adapt. For better or for worse, that will never be me. So you're right. Either play the game. Or start your own. Subbed.
Same problem here man. I could never accept some boss telling me what to do in a condescending way or some customer yelling in my face. We'd have words immediately and obviously I'd be fired. I just don't fit in, I was born in the wrong era.
Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you guys how much I appreciate you! I am 44 and I have struggled to find just a normal guy and he doesn't have to be rich or perfect. I am not perfect and as a woman I do feel bad that men have been shit on so badly by the feminist movement and the all these women who think they can do it all. Please don't give up on all of us.... It's not the feminist movement, most of us want an equal partner in the game of life and are all for equal rights for women and more freedom for everyone.
It's that women are hypergamous, and not faithful. You invest a lot of time in finding a significant other, romancing them, dating them, building a home for them in your heart and mind... only to have them get bored and wander off, or run off to greener pastures somewhere else, because their own investment was marginal. Building a relationship is just a bad investment, because it can end in one moment with an exchange of words and poof... it is all gone!
Nobody wants that kind of heart break... any more.
No more than say a woman wants the heartbreak of starting a family, have kids, and have them die in a war... started and waged by... men.
No, men are not free of responsibility, they are just as much to blame. They just won't look in a mirror.
Men chased and clicked like on women's pictures, and fed their vanity and self absorbtion, and made women wall them self off so unobtainably far up, that women are just as lonely as men, prisoners in their own self built prison of unrealistic and absurd expectations. Men wag their finger at women, but won't accept responsibility of their own part creating everyone's mutual isolation. Until men themselves change their own behavior, shallow focus on appearance, unrealistic expectations, and warped way how they themselves view women, it's not going to change.
Maybe they can start, by stopping pursing and chasing them for starters. It's not a hunt. It's not a social game. It's not an investment. A relationship is nothing more than an ephemeral illusion that exists briefly in a moment of time.
