It really depends where you live and your personality. If you are outgoing and know how to talk to women while not showing too much interest - many women will date you. I can back this message up. When I was 21 I lived in a party house with a couple friends. I was throwing the parties so I would greet all the women that showed up. The women loved having conversations with me and were curious about the process of throwing all the parties. That was also the same year that no woman were rude to me, because they knew I had some status in my friend group. Now out of college I have not attained that status level and possibly might never get it again, but I need to find a way to get something simillar to it.

It’s not a choice, you either feel it or you don’t, it’s not something you can switch on, to be sexually attracted to someone or not, is just brain chemicals you have no control over. If we could switch it on and off on demand, there would be no problems in dating. Demanding ‘sexual or nothing’ is so limiting, it’s not how social interactions work. Every person I know has mixed groups of friends of both sexes, they’re not saying that their friends are ‘not good enough’ for relationships, they are friends. Platonic friends often last longer than relationships. Stopping yourself from making new friends and further connections is crazy, very limiting life view, and self enforced too? not good for your mental health
