This is LITERALLY what I needed to hear. I have been failing God MASSIVELY this week and I am so ashamed of myself. I’m trying SO HARD to let go of the sin of gossiping but most times I failed. God had been pushing me to fast and I keep disobeying Him. I feel like a failure.💔💔💔💔💔
we will never be free from sin on this side of eternity. The thing we need to do is always get back up and always run to God. Repentance is not a one time thing. it's away of life until we die.

Just fell into lust again, I don't even feel shame or guilt anymore, I feel like I've lost my salvation as I can't hear God's voice anymore. Everytime I fail I don't feel guilt or shame, instead I just stare at the floor in disgust wondering where everything went wrong. I feel like I wanna cry but I just can't, I feel like I lost the Holy Spirit and all of my conviction. I just don't feel like anything anymore except for a massive failure in the eyes of God. Its so hard for me to describe because its a really difficult. I feel like throwing up. Pls pray for me y'all, I just can't take this sin anymore, its like a switch turns on and my brain goes numb. I can't even think straight anymore. Lord Jesus Christ please have mercy on me for I have sinned greatly.
I'm there too.... but God is good. Paul killed Christians, David committed adultery, Peter denied the Lord, and all three made an enormous impact for God. I'll believe for you if you believe for me that we'll get out of this, because we will. Satan wants nothing more than to convince us to give up and shut up, and he's fighting hard but the harder he fights, the more we know that God has a plan because if Satan didn't think God would threaten him through us, he wouldn't attack us. Praying for you.
Lamentations 3:22-23: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” I will keep you in my prayers. God is bigger than your sin, and so is his love for you, please remember that.

I know how it feels my brother but you can truly be freed by truly seeking the lord by reading the Bible & pray and ask the lord before doing anything showing that you have trust and making him your highlight of the day and walking in that identity of your healing. Just remember temptation doesn’t mean your not delivered it just means the devil wants what he used to have, you have a choice the lord gives you free will to break free take it and run and never return I will be praying for you keep going don’t look back ✝️🙏🏽

If I think that I am better than I truly am. I will be surprised at myself when I sin and engage in the cycle of shame and trying harder often times to prove I am who I think I am before God. This is the subtle and slippery nature of pride. The only answer I have found is to truly surrender into Gods mercy and participating in His out pour of grace. He could heal your soul in an instant and have you sin no more. Trust in this through daily surrender. Holding nothing back. Is the only way to have full true confidence in God. The more I hold back from God the less I can trust him with my salvation. Only he can save. You can't save yourself no matter how hard you try.
The only thing I would add is we have to figure out why there is habitual sin in our lives. God delivered me from a habitual sin that I thought I would never overcome. However through him and his word I have a weapon that helps me fight it on a daily basis. I am still tempted but I repeat this verse from Genesis, the words of Joseph when he was tempted Genesis 39:9 says, "How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against my God”. It reminds me of all the blessings and love he has given me, how can I betray him. This helps me walk away.

I’ve been feeling so much guilt, shame, and self hatred lately because I’ve been practically people-pleasing all the wrong people and have spend less time trying to get closer to god and focus on who I truly am as a person. I have been in a tail spin for a few days. More like I fell in the rabbit hole and cant find my way out. I am grateful for this video because Im dealing failure and major confusion. I recently discovered what autism was and dove right in asking myself am I really autistic... I do fit the criteria but I let it take control over me. I wanted validation, wanted to be right, etc. People weren't beleiving me so I dove in more and researched a lot , but what was that really doing for me. I was trying to prove something the God already knows because he formed me in the mothers womb. Due to fall of mankind there are going to be some mental stuff or other things happening but it is the power of the Holy Spirit and God who can help and turn it all around. God is Good! And I have to remember even if there are some major challenges that are happening in my life, I would need to always turn to Jesus for everything. For he is my wisdom and protector and will help me discern what is good and bad. (and I know doing lots of research could be a bad thing cause I could be led down the rabbit hole again. (like in alice and wonderland)

Looks like I'm not the only one who's experiencing this, I have found out I have ADHD, It's extremely depressing knowing I'll never be "Normal", I'm going through extremely hard times right now, very unstable self esteem, Anxiety, and probably depression, I pray and trust God has the upper hand. No one understands me, I'm confused. But with the help of Jesus we can overcome this struggle, he has helped me overcome a pornography addiction l, he can help me with these obstacles too.

4:50 I know God can forgive, the problem is that his forgiveness seems to matter very little. It always happens like that, i cry tears of supposed repentance, feel good for a while, then return to my own filth.
Key word that it "seems" to matter very little, but not is. God's forgiveness may feel distant in the midst of our sins, but always remember that he will never leave nor forsake you and he loves you.

I needed to hear this message and I’m glad I did. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and fear of others which leads to doubts and hesitation. God has not given us a spirit of fear yet I still have this fear of others and doubts of my own abilities which leads to hesitation and idleness. I feel like I’m just constantly failing God. This video was so relatable. This is exactly what I've been dealing with lately and I knew what I was feeling was wrong, but I was still feeling it, and couldn't shake that feeling. Months ago I kept seeing "What we're feeling doesn't always line up with what the written word says is true". Cause our feelings can deceive us by making us think God doesn't want anything to do with us when we fall short, but that's the opposite of what His written word says. He the same God yesterday, Today, and tomorrow. God doesn't change.

The first cycle is vicious, as it shows a reflection of your imperfection, your temptations, yet in our sin we can't see past them toward our identity in God through Christ. God will always bridge the gap when we stretch out toward Him in repentance, because our arms alone could never reach. Something else I wanted to point out: if I recall, Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him three times--the same number of times Peter denied Him, before alluding to the way that Peter would die to glorify God (John 21:15-19). This seems like God plans a way for us to be reassured in our doubts in shame in an antiequivalency to our sin, letting us know FOR CERTAIN that we are still loved, and that He has a plan for us to glorify again. It could be anything, maybe something even as innocuous as watching a RUclips video. Thanks again, and God bless!

Lust is the worst. I think of it like this. It’s one thing to have those thoughts or even to be attracted to someone. That’s not necessarily a sin. It’s what you’re doing with those thoughts and attractions. Are you acting on them in a negative way? Are you sleeping around? Are you being immoral? Don’t beat yourself up about those thoughts and attractions. In the proper sense, those are normal and healthy. As long as it’s not leading you to something immoral or evil. That’s completely normal.
God's love for you is infinite, just like His grace and mercy, and His power. God forgave you two thousand years ago when He shed the blood of His beloved Son to redeem you. The battle is already won. You do nothing. You have nothing to offer. God made the offer, and He has already given you the victory because He already gave all authority in heaven and on earth to Jesus. I pray that God takes away this sexual sin from my heart, but I already know that He loves me, and neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. God loves you, and He has already saved you. Trust Him, cry out to Him, weep your tears and put them in His hands, and know the love of the Father who made you and saved you.
I love how there's a difference between godly sorrow and remorse, vs. worldy shame and self-loathing. When we sin, we should feel sorry and that guilt in our hearts that we sinned against God, but godly sorrow leads to repentance. Wordly sorrow leads to depression, lost motivation, helplessness, and self-hatred. We can always know that God loves us and His love for us will never change even when we sin. But if we love someone so much, we never want to hurt them. So when we do hurt them, it will hurt us inside because we love and care about that person. And when we love and care about them, we try our best not to do that thing which hurts them. At times we still mess up and we're inevitably going to hurt them in some way because we're fallen sinners. But we strive to make things right and turn from the way we were going. Repentance means to turn away from. So we change our direction. We don't have to think we can never conquer sin and we'll always be stuck in it. It's a battle, but we can overcome by the strength God gives us. And we also don't have to wallow in self-hatred which immobolizes us and makes us feel like we're too far gone to change anyway. We can be reconciled to God, run into His arms, and embrace Him once again. What a good, loving, merciful God we have. May we always strive to make Him happy and never abuse grace. And may we never run or hide from Him, but always know that He will always have us back. ❤🙏🕊
Today i woke up terrified. Like heart pounding super fast so scared. I woke up not even wanting to leave me and my brothers bed. I told my mom and then prayed. It took me a few mins but i calmed down. I dont know what it was but i didnt read the Bible before i slept. I made sure to read it. Im trying to become nicer. Not because i want to get to Heaven but because i just have a feeling too. Im trying to sin less.
I absolutely needed this! Instead of being too attached to Lust, I feel like the sin I keep coming back to is lying! I pray to help me hold my tongue and not stretch out stories for reactions. Dude, I just this like, 20 minutes ago and this speaks to me so much you have no idea- Or you probably do but still💀 I was stuck in a really bad cycle of just going to school and not doing things I know would've pleased Him, not following the Holy Spirit and just failing Him all the time, then going back home and balling my eyes out in the evening feeling so hopeless and afraid. I mean yeah I know it's good, better than good to not take sin lightly but I don't think that cycle was healthy and I'll be honest, I was miserable. Other times when I tried to combat that reaction I just became complacent and apathetic, there was really no middle ground for me😭 Thank you so much, this video really helped me and I assume many others looking through the comments, God bless
One thing i keep on stuggling with is lustful thoughts. I will just be minding my own business and all of a sudden an evil thought pops up in my head and I immediately will ask God to forgive me because i just get so frustrated and annoyed by the thoughts and I just want to stop having those evil thoughts and it makes me worried everyday that God is upset with me.
It sounds like you are experiencing intrusive or unwanted thoughts. Those kind of thoughts can arise. They are not sinful, though. It is when we cooperate with them (indulge in them) that it becomes sin. Nevertheless, don't worry. Just let them pass. Ignore them. They don't mean anything about you. Does this help?
So this video was so needed. I just can’t get past the guilt tho bc I feel that if I don’t feel super guilty and shameful than I am somehow condoning it. My issue is just constantly feeling like that. I know I’m constantly gonna fail but idk how to accept that without feeling like I’m condoning my behavior.
Repentance is only part of returning to God. We must forgive all of those we think falsely have hurt us. We are masters of our fate. " For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Peter cut off the ear of the roman guard. Jesus healed and forgave the soldier. Even today people think Jesus taught that we should use swords against people even though he taught us to turn the other cheek.
@@Katie-k4m When we hold grudges and get angry at others, we are actually looking in a mirror. We see in them what we have in ourselves but project it out onto others to try to get rid of it. Jesus addressed this with, "Judge not or you will be judged."

Idk if anyone relates, but this past… idk couple weeks, I haven’t really felt God’s presence. I kept praying and studying but still didn’t really feel it. I’d repent, I’d pray and just try to spend time with him, but still didn’t really feel anything. Then the past 2 days, I’ve failed. And I have that feeling of shame and disgust, and I repent. But I still have that cloud of darkness in my head if that makes sense. And I feel that I can’t get out of it. I still have been praying, I haven’t studied since the weekend, but plan on doing it again tonight. It has lead to thoughts of to be quite honest doubt, thoughts of shame, cowardice, fear, fear that god is or is going to harden my heart. Etc. this is the best I can explain things. But yea. This video did help some tho ngl.
bro i can relate to all your saying. im going thru the exact same thing but mine feels like heavy weight on my heart. i keep reminding myself that Jesus died for all my sin, i pray, i confess all my sins to god daily, repent and asking god to remove the persistent feeling from my heart but it still stays. Maybe fasting might help us bro. Jesus loves you and I through it all, and ill pray for you man.
Remember God's promises that His Holy Spirit is with you, He loves you, He's speaking to you, and He will never forsake you. You can't get any closer to God than you are right now because His Spirit dwells in you. Make time to sit in the quiet place, be aware that He is with you even if you can't feel it. It might take time to get to that place of hearing Him clearly, but keep climbing that mountain and give your concerns to Him as your mind races, and try to quiten yourself. I've been struggling to get to this place too, and want to learn to listen better and recognise His voice. Keep going! ❤
@@zaidpoakwa3327 that’s a good way to explain it. The best way I could explain the heaviness was dread. Maybe it’s a good thing we are feeling it in a weird way? I also saw something that helped saying god will distance himself from you to humble you, and to show you that you’re there to worship him not him be your servant and you come to him for every little thing because if he were to come to you for every little thing, pride will engulf us. I thought it made sense and helped some.
We can get better as we allow ourselves to be transformed by the Word of God under the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit. However so long as we wear this body of corruption Sin remains ever present. Therefoer 1 John, 1:9.

Looks like I'm not the only one who's experiencing this, I have found out I have ADHD, It's extremely depressing knowing I'll never be "Normal", I'm going through extremely hard times right now, very unstable self esteem, Anxiety, and probably depression, I pray and trust God has the upper hand. No one understands me, I'm confused. But with the help of Jesus we can overcome this struggle, he has helped me overcome a pornography addiction l, he can help me with these obstacles too.

4:50 I know God can forgive, the problem is that his forgiveness seems to matter very little. It always happens like that, i cry tears of supposed repentance, feel good for a while, then return to my own filth.
Key word that it "seems" to matter very little, but not is. God's forgiveness may feel distant in the midst of our sins, but always remember that he will never leave nor forsake you and he loves you.

This video was so relatable. This is exactly what I've been dealing with lately and I knew what I was feeling was wrong, but I was still feeling it, and couldn't shake that feeling. Months ago I kept seeing "What we're feeling doesn't always line up with what the written word says is true". Cause our feelings can deceive us by making us think God doesn't want anything to do with us when we fall short, but that's the opposite of what His written word says. He the same God yesterday, Today, and tomorrow. God doesn't change.

The first cycle is vicious, as it shows a reflection of your imperfection, your temptations, yet in our sin we can't see past them toward our identity in God through Christ. God will always bridge the gap when we stretch out toward Him in repentance, because our arms alone could never reach. Something else I wanted to point out: if I recall, Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him three times--the same number of times Peter denied Him, before alluding to the way that Peter would die to glorify God (John 21:15-19). This seems like God plans a way for us to be reassured in our doubts in shame in an antiequivalency to our sin, letting us know FOR CERTAIN that we are still loved, and that He has a plan for us to glorify again. It could be anything, maybe something even as innocuous as watching a RUclips video. Thanks again, and God bless!

I’ve been learning to repent more and more and then be reminded of who I am, but I honestly get stuck on the my power vs the Lord’s. I try to do things on my own, but I realize now that I need to be asking God for His strength!

Lust is the worst. I think of it like this. It’s one thing to have those thoughts or even to be attracted to someone. That’s not necessarily a sin. It’s what you’re doing with those thoughts and attractions. Are you acting on them in a negative way? Are you sleeping around? Are you being immoral? Don’t beat yourself up about those thoughts and attractions. In the proper sense, those are normal and healthy. As long as it’s not leading you to something immoral or evil. That’s completely normal.
God's love for you is infinite, just like His grace and mercy, and His power. God forgave you two thousand years ago when He shed the blood of His beloved Son to redeem you. The battle is already won. You do nothing. You have nothing to offer. God made the offer, and He has already given you the victory because He already gave all authority in heaven and on earth to Jesus. I pray that God takes away this sexual sin from my heart, but I already know that He loves me, and neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God loves you, and He has already saved you. Trust Him, cry out to Him, weep your tears and put them in His hands, and know the love of the Father who made you and saved you.

I love how there's a difference between godly sorrow and remorse, vs. worldy shame and self-loathing. When we sin, we should feel sorry and that guilt in our hearts that we sinned against God, but godly sorrow leads to repentance. Wordly sorrow leads to depression, lost motivation, helplessness, and self-hatred. We can always know that God loves us and His love for us will never change even when we sin. But if we love someone so much, we never want to hurt them. So when we do hurt them, it will hurt us inside because we love and care about that person. And when we love and care about them, we try our best not to do that thing which hurts them. At times we still mess up and we're inevitably going to hurt them in some way because we're fallen sinners. But we strive to make things right and turn from the way we were going. Repentance means to turn away from. So we change our direction. We don't have to think we can never conquer sin and we'll always be stuck in it. It's a battle, but we can overcome by the strength God gives us. And we also don't have to wallow in self-hatred which immobolizes us and makes us feel like we're too far gone to change anyway. We can be reconciled to God, run into His arms, and embrace Him once again. What a good, loving, merciful God we have. May we always strive to make Him happy and never abuse grace. And may we never run or hide from Him, but always know that He will always have us back. ❤🙏🕊
Today i woke up terrified. Like heart pounding super fast so scared. I woke up not even wanting to leave me and my brothers bed. I told my mom and then prayed. It took me a few mins but i calmed down. I dont know what it was but i didnt read the Bible before i slept. I made sure to read it. Im trying to become nicer. Not because i want to get to Heaven but because i just have a feeling too. Im trying to sin less.
I absolutely needed this! Instead of being too attached to Lust, I feel like the sin I keep coming back to is lying! I pray to help me hold my tongue and not stretch out stories for reactions. I keep coming back to lying and I always feel like I’m letting Jesus down. I haven’t watched this video yet but I know it will be helpful because this is exactly what I needed.

I was stuck in a really bad cycle of just going to school and not doing things I know would've pleased Him, not following the Holy Spirit and just failing Him all the time, then going back home and balling my eyes out in the evening feeling so hopeless and afraid. I mean yeah I know it's good, better than good to not take sin lightly but I don't think that cycle was healthy and I'll be honest, I was miserable.
Other times when I tried to combat that reaction I just became complacent and apathetic, there was really no middle ground for me😭

One thing i keep on stuggling with is lustful thoughts. I will just be minding my own business and all of a sudden an evil thought pops up in my head and I immediately will ask God to forgive me because i just get so frustrated and annoyed by the thoughts and I just want to stop having those evil thoughts and it makes me worried everyday that God is upset with me.
It sounds like you are experiencing intrusive or unwanted thoughts.
Those kind of thoughts can arise. They are not sinful, though.
It is when we cooperate with them (indulge in them) that it becomes sin.
Nevertheless, don't worry. Just let them pass. Ignore them. They don't mean anything about you.

Repentance is only part of returning to God. We must forgive all of those we think falsely have hurt us. We are masters of our fate. " For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Peter cut off the ear of the roman guard. Jesus healed and forgave the soldier. Even today people think Jesus taught that we should use swords against people even though he taught us to turn the other cheek.

@@Katie-k4m When we hold grudges and get angry at others, we are actually looking in a mirror. We see in them what we have in ourselves but project it out onto others to try to get rid of it. Jesus addressed this with, "Judge not or you will be judged."
I agree with you. What we need to repent is what we need to forgive others and ourselves for.

Idk if anyone relates, but this past… idk couple weeks, I haven’t really felt God’s presence. I kept praying and studying but still didn’t really feel it. I’d repent, I’d pray and just try to spend time with him, but still didn’t really feel anything. Then the past 2 days, I’ve failed. And I have that feeling of shame and disgust, and I repent. But I still have that cloud of darkness in my head if that makes sense. And I feel that I can’t get out of it. I still have been praying, I haven’t studied since the weekend, but plan on doing it again tonight. It has lead to thoughts of to be quite honest doubt, thoughts of shame, cowardice, fear, fear that god is or is going to harden my heart. Etc. this is the best I can explain things. But yea. This video did help some tho ngl.
bro i can relate to all your saying. im going thru the exact same thing but mine feels like heavy weight on my heart. i keep reminding myself that Jesus died for all my sin, i pray, i confess all my sins to god daily, repent and asking god to remove the persistent feeling from my heart but it still stays. Maybe fasting might help us bro. Jesus loves you and I through it all, and ill pray for you man.
Remember God's promises that His Holy Spirit is with you, He loves you, He's speaking to you, and He will never forsake you. You can't get any closer to God than you are right now because His Spirit dwells in you.
Make time to sit in the quiet place, be aware that He is with you even if you can't feel it. It might take time to get to that place of hearing Him clearly, but keep climbing that mountain and give your concerns to Him as your mind races, and try to quiten yourself.
I've been struggling to get to this place too, and want to learn to listen better and recognise His voice. Keep going! ❤
@@zaidpoakwa3327 that’s a good way to explain it. The best way I could explain the heaviness was dread. Maybe it’s a good thing we are feeling it in a weird way? I also saw something that helped saying god will distance himself from you to humble you, and to show you that you’re there to worship him not him be your servant and you come to him for every little thing because if he were to come to you for every little thing, pride will engulf us. I thought it made sense and helped some.
