Pretty cut and dry what I did was when I did the rear I open the dump feature on the bed and was able to just get it from the top much easier way to do instead of working from the bottom.
Ok at first I was a little afraid that this kit was going to cause issues with the suspensions alignment etc.... I'm happy to report that it doesn't and it does add a little over five inches ground clearance, not the 3 inches that they advertise it as. I haven't bottomed out since I installed the kit. One thing that I noticed is a very slight increase the ride being a little rougher, a good trade off for the higher ground clearance. A good value for $100.00.
Yeah just a little more body roll when on the road so just be aware of that. Not like the mule is much of an athlete anyways. More of a work horse lol! Remember you can buy the same kit from my link in the description.
Hey great video went and bought the RC lift kit. I saw in another vid that you should add 2" spacers to your Hubs to account for the extra height. Did you notice the Mule being more tipsy on turns?
I have a Deep South aluminum roof so I definately do notice more body roll when turning at speed, but I wouldn't say it feels like it will tip a lot easier than stock. I will be looking into heavy duty springs for when I have my little trailer, split wood in the back and should help with body roll.
I think it's been around a year, and so far, the lift is great. I've been a little rough on it at times (too fast over larger bumps) and they seem to hold up great. The ride is very slightly more firm, which is great because the added ride height makes it feel a bit tip heavy. I added some Tensor Regulators 28x10x12 with 8 ply tires that fit perfectly. The 8 ply is noticeably heavier for the vehicle, so I'm careful to stay in low most of the time. Overall, I'm extremely happy! Hope this helps.
It was definately an easy install. The fitment was really good as well. I haven't noticed any downside to the lift really. I was worried about it riding rough because I like how soft the suspension is but it still rides very nice.
@@schmitty750 I just got my kit and plan on installing it but I thought I'd check one last time to see if you had any handling issues. Does it seem to be a little more top-heavy than before the lift?
@@schmitty750 i was watching the video suspension looks the same so I assuming it should be same one just like you said they may not have change on the new ones
I'm not sure why he's bending under and reaching in from behind to install the rear bars, I just tilted my bed back to install mine. Took less than 5 minutes for the rear because of the easy access...
@@schmitty750 Yes, it should. But most stop at 2022. I have a '23. I have also heard that the frame and suspension are the same. Just looking for some confirmation. Seems like a prudent thing to do, no?
@@schmitty750 In the case of Super ATV, they say it won't fit an FXR, but they host their product with a picture of an FXR, so...(?) I do appreciate the input. I'm hoping for a real world experience reply from someone who has done it.
One of my favorite things about the mule is that I can work without getting mud slung all over me. So I didn't want the tires to stick out from the wheel well. If I was playing with it more than anything else I would for sure get spacers just for the fact that it would give a bit more confidence when it leans over on a steep grade. Thanks for watching!

You're right! Another person said the same and i never even thought about it. That would've been way easier lol!
Oh now I seriously want this! Awesome video bro! Love your content, it’s extremely helpful!
Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you for making the video - helpful. Am starting the install of this 3" lift kit tonight.
Good luck! I'm very pleased with the results and ride as well.

I noticed a little more body roll at speed from the higher CG but nothing scary. Maybe HD springs just in the back for those firewood loads?
Great video I've got one ordered I'll use the advice and great to know it still rides good!!👍

Is there any wheel alignment that needs done once this lift kit is installed??
The angles looked fine so I don't think so.
ok great thanks man. I’m looking forward to the install great video. Appreciate ya.

Turn the front shock spring tension down to lower the frontend down if you want it level
The rears have one more notch to stiffen. I may stiffen the rear to help with heavier loads. I'll see how that goes!
Could you offer a long term review of the lift kit? Pros and cons

@@schmitty750 was curious about bering wear.
Haven't heard bearing noise yet. Must be good so far.
Great video. How fast does your mule go?
45 mph. Thank you for watching!
Nice work buddy! Bigger tires are definitely needed. Does WELD make ATV wheels???
Offroad Welds! 😆 🤣 $$$
Thanks for the video. You made it look very simple to install. Have you found any drawbacks yet?

@@schmitty750 I just ordered the lift kit for mine. Guess I'll have to shop for 28" tires next.
Nice! Let me know if you have any questions. I still haven't bought bigger tires so it does look a little funny lol!

Do you have the HD springs on there too?
No just the factory coilovers.
Has anyone found out if this voids the factory 3 year warranty?
I never did check. I guess you'd have to call your dealer. I'd imagine it would void the warranty though.
Would it fit on 2023 Kawasaki pro fxt all says 2022 and I have a 2023
I'm pretty sure they haven't changed anything on the 2023. You could just call Rough Country. They would know for sure. Thanks for watching!

It should say on amazon what vehicles the lift works with.

@Delmarksman I agree 100%. I used Amazon because it was cheaper but check with the seller to Amazon. Call them up and the can give you a good answer.
