    Some people say that changing the cv geometry may shorten the cv joints life.

      I'm sure it can if you stress it too much. I'm not sure what height of lift would do that but mine ran fine for some time. I eventually sold it and bought a new mule.

    How much lift did you lose not using the stiffer springs? And have you had any problems?

      No issues. These are tanks and can handle a lot of weight.

    Use 2 small ratchet straps (minus the ratchet mechanism) and loop them through the spring on opposite sides and tie them tight. Then insert a short section of pipe through each strap loop and twist up the straps using the pipe which will compress the spring then insert the spring cap. Still a two man job but easier than trying to compress them by brute force (see what I did there?).

    I can see you put ITP Delta Steels on for the wheels, but what brand and size tires did you put on your mule?
