For others viewing this - it's a good idea to lubricate the threads on the 14mm puller bolt and a touch of lube on the end of the bolt that goes into the engine. Zap it with an impact - will pop right off. Same concept as pulling a flywheel / magneto / rotor.
I have a 2010 mule 4010 and can’t get the secondary clutch to slide on for the life of me. It gets about 3/4 of the way down the shaft then won’t go any further.
I believe what your running into is the splines being misaligned, if I'm remembering correctly most of the shaft is unsplined so it will slide together, you will have to turn the clutch independent of the shaft until you find a sweet spot that lines the spline up and it will pop right on
@@GRTRanchadventures I was doing turning it independently but I ended up having to line it up and tapping it a few times with a rubber mallet. Thank you for the advice and great video.
Just take that snap ring off while pressing on the inner piece and it will come apart super easy. I just did one here at home. There's not much pressure pushing against that snap ring.
First helpful video out there; thank you for your knowledge and for sharing it with us!
