    Question. Fyi I just bought a mule pro fxt 2023.
    When you made that adjustment did the ride become less soft ? And what would the ride quality be like if you went all the way firm ?

      @AskDaddyjoe  Год назад +1

      Congrats on your new Mule this machine is a lot of fun, yes turning the suspension adjustment will make the ride slightly stiffer or can soften it up just make small adjustments to get the results you are looking for. Have fun out on the trail and Thanks for Watching

    Is it hard to go back to one or two setting?

  • @atwdmb
    @atwdmb Год назад

    Is it the same process to adjust it the other way (towards a softer ride)? It looks like going more stiff is an easy adjustment because the cog is sliding 'downwards' - will it go the other way just as easily?

    • @AskDaddyjoe
      @AskDaddyjoe  Год назад

      Yes, the adjustment can be made easily just make sure to clean the mud and sand off the adjuster first. Have a great day and Thanks for Watching

      Thanks Tristan. The adjustment helped with a little stiffer suspension and I have not had to make any further adjustment's it is exactly what I need. Thanks for Watching

    Did it raise the height of the machine

    • @AskDaddyjoe

      Yes about 1/2 an inch. I like this suspension setting for the terrain I have here.

      @@AskDaddyjoe I adjusted my springs 2 clicks and it only raised my mule 3/8 of a inch and I didn’t notice any ride deference

      @@AskDaddyjoe Shouldn't the machine be lower now that the spring is shorter?

      I have a 2022 Ranch edition and also have experienced negative camber issues. In my case this is the result of the front springs starting to sage at 2,000 miles on the machine. As the front springs sage, it causes the geometry of the front suspension to go into a negative camber. I adjusted my springs up to the highest settings and still with two adults in the front seats, it is at a negative camber angle. I just ordered a set of Elka stage 1 shocks and am sure this will solve the problem as I also installed these shocks on my previous side by side and had no further issues. These machines are heavy and Kawasaki uses a spring that will do the utility jobs and still provide a good ride but, as the miles (hours) add up the springs begin to weaken.

    That’s a 3/8” ratchet by the way. No way that’s a 1/4”

      Pretty much any suspension that has the adjustable collar like this one can be adjusted Check your manual and make sure to clean around the shock before the adjustment sand mud or dirt can make the collar more difficult to turn Thank you for Watching .
