You do a fantastic job explaining and describing the Mule Pro-Fxt. I love ours. I will tell you that the dealer didn't give you the correct information on the engine. It's a Chery motors engine made in China. Also used by John Deere in the Gator 825i, and is used in some Arctic cat machines. Here is the information: The engine is manufactured by Chery motors in China and is a very durable engine. This engine is also used in a micro car from China. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your videos.
Good morning and Thank You. Yes, I have since learned that the Chery Motor Co. builds the power plant to Kawasaki Specs for the Mule and will add that it has been trouble free now at 180 hrs. of use. I missed quoted the salesman, as He was talking about all of the bells and whistles of the Mule in my mind, I was already on the trail LOL I may be getting old, but the excitement remains the same😁. Thank you for the helpful info and Thanks for Watching.
After much debate I bought a ranch edition today. I live in the idaho close to the oregon border and will be driving this thing on two tracks up steep hills in pursuit of chukar, antelope, and hot huntresses. Hope it can hill climb it just had all the right features.
Good Morning and WOW it sounds like you are going to have some adventures with The Mule and the hunting involved and I hope the machine performs the way you need it to . I can say you will enjoy the comfort of the Mule as it rides and drive smoothly and the machine has been in production so long that there are a lot of accessories and upgrades to suit your needs . Good Luck out there in the wilderness and Thanks for Watching .
Love this machine, it will definitely climb some gnarly trails. I took mine up a steep lava trail in hawaii and it climbed like a goat, loaded down with 4 guys, coolers and diving gear. 2017 with absolutely no issues! Great machine
@@kanakaoiwi158 Hello , You are very lucky to get to drive your Mule around in Hawaii Wow ,and I bet you have some great trails there . Thanks for the Comment and Thanks for Watching
I'm picking up a used one of these tomorrow. I noticed under the front hood/hatch, in front of the dashboard, passenger side is three bundled and unconnected wired connectors, and my suspicion is they are for wiring in more accessories. Does the manual explain these, where they go, and what's on the other end of those?
Thank you. I think the plug is wired to one of the headlight switches on the dash, but I will have to check to make sure. The Mule has been a good machine for us we use it daily here. Thanks for Watching.
Great video, Thanks for sharing. I just did a few upgrade mods to our 2020 Mule Pro FXT Camo including 4 door activated dome light, reverse lights, Seizmik Pursuit mirrors, and a Moto gadget M-Unit blue to control all the electronics which allows you to turn on and off lights/accessories from your dash panel or phone via Blue tooth. Merry Christmas
Wow that's a lot of upgrades and the camo looks great on the machine as well they are a lot of fun . Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you as well .

Good evening Tristan and Thank You. The Mule has been one of the best tool/toys I have bought. I don't think I have found any limitation's for it yet. Thanks for Watching
I bought a new mule in 2020 I asked my sales man where to check the oil Along with other questions he had no clue where the oil stick was. they should have sent him to class or something , so he would be able to talk to the costumers about the product is was selling
My 2020 Pro FXT has had the oil light on the LED display lighting up during pre ignition and it stays on, this has happened ever since my last dealer break-in service and just yesterday the Mule stalled on me with the oil light flashing. I have been checking the oil levels consistently to make sure it is not leaking/losing any and the levels are always right at the top dot, but yesterday I noticed the level had gone up above the dot. I read where someone had an issue with gas leaking into the oil and adding volume to the oil which can happen when the Mule is only driven for short periods of time. I live on a small ranch with only short trips back and forth and rarely take it out for an extended drive. The comments I read state that you have to drive it long enough to heat it up so the gas evaporates out of the oil. My fear is that the oil volume due to gas migration can cause damage to the engine. I'm wondering if there is a high oil level sensor that is shutting down my engine to prevent damage. Anyone have any ideas about this?
Good Evening , Thank You , and Congrats on the Mule . These are a little hard to find right now but it is worth the drive to get one . Have fun and Thanks for Watching
When you adjusted the mule suspension up one level from factory. Did that make the ride stiffer ? I like that the adjustment made the height taller but I'm concerned that the adjustment will make the ride less comfortable. What is your feedback sir ?
Great video. These are awesome machines. The newer models 2019 up have that little hook on the rear passenger side grab handle. I cannot figure out what that is for My 2017 doesn’t have it. Kind of random I know. Any ideas what that’s for???
Thank you for watching .They are a lot of fun and yet able to get a lot of work out of them . I think the little hook you see is for the safety latch that folds out to hold up the engine compartment door when you lift it up . Thank you again
Good Morning . The Mule has been great for me I work with this machine here on our property hauling wood and brush and we also have a great time trail riding and this machine rides very smoothly . Good Luck with which ever UTV you decide on and Thanks for Watching .
Hello sir, I like how you are down to earth. You don’t act like you know everything and share what you’ve learned. I just bought a 2021 fxt eps and like it so far. Have you ever thought about putting a radio in it? If you do please show how you do it!!! Thanks again
Hello and Thank you , I bet you are having a blast in your new machine , and I have said this in several videos At What These Cost They Should Have a Radio In It LOL But yes I will share the install should we get to it enjoy your new machine and Thanks for watching
Hate to say it but that salesman lied to you about the engine. Its not even a Kawasaki engine its a Chinese made engine. Very reliable engine none the less but I cannot understand why Kawasaki did not use there own engine in their product. It was almost a deal breaker for me, but I am very happy with my machine so far, just doesn't quite make sense to me.
Hello , I think I didn't listen to the salesman as closely as I should have once I sat in the machine I tuned him out and in my mind went straight to how much fun the Mule was gonna be I am getting older but still a kid at heart LOL . I am not sure why they out sourced the engine but like you I have found it to be reliable . I hope you are having as much fun with your Mule as I am in mine and Thanks for Watching
Remember. The AIR FILTER is NOT Snorkeled and is on the other side. If you go in water over the Floor boards you are nearing the bottom of Air intake. And Remember to clean the Filter Often.
Good Morning and Thank You for The Info Paul I will give that a fresh look I thought that was the Intake and I don't want to get water in the engine and two thumbs up on keeping the filter clean . Thanks for Watching .
Great video, you can always add a heater and so much more to your Kawasaki MULE Pro FXT. The Mules are built in Lincoln, NE. Just curious, where are you located at?
We are in Missouri and the past few day's we have had some pretty extreme weather . I did not know the Mule was built State side but that explains the Quality of the Machine . Thank You

That vent in back should be for the CVT belt housing, I'm pretty sure intake hose goes to roll cage behind seat and vent is on top, back center
Gonna get one mainly for hauling rocks/firewood. Excellent review. Thanks.
