Very professionally done video. Enjoyed it. The low end power on these machines is phenomenal. Stuck my tractor this weekend. Ask my wife to pull me out with the mule. I would normally use my jeep but I wanted the put the mule to the test. No problem. After 10 years of marriage, that’s the first thing my city girl wife has done that made her feel like a country girl. Lol she’s so proud. Love our mule.
Good Morning Carl , what a great comment I am glad she got to experience that . Now that she has a good idea as to what the Mule can do you will probably need another one 😁 LOL . Have a good day and Thanks for Watching
Love the grandparent touch, it has been a consideration for our purchase. My parents can take our kids around safely. In their 70s they can still get out around the property and spend time working and playing together
Good afternoon, Jimmy the Mule is a good all-around machine, and it rides and handles as good as it looks. My grandkids enjoy their Mule time LOL. Have fun with your machine and Thanks for Watching.
Yes it does....you were the first I watched before I bought. I sprayed my bed with bedliner to help preserve it since I didn't want a mat coming out when I dumped or to have to fasten it in with screws etc. . Building my shed extension for the mule...LOL
I was thinking about our conversation a few videos back about you building a shed to keep your Mule clean and if you keep adding things to your ride you will be driving it to work or at least to the lumber yard for supply's LOL . Thanks for Watching
I have a 2015 mule pro fxt with 2181 hours and 11,700 miles and only replaced the starter and one belt! It's been in the Arizona desert twice the first time we put 3,000 miles off road . And we just got here in Arizona this week. The rest of the hours and miles were put on at our farm in Ohio 130 acres of woods and hills with lots of mud! We have put this mule to the test with very little problems. We are on our third set of tires, the desert is rough on tires!
Hello James. Wow that say's a lot about how tough these machines are. You have to be satisfied with those numbers. Have fun in the desert and Thanks for Watching
Hello and Welcome . Congrats on your new Mule and you are right about having fun these things are a blast . Thanks for Joining the Channel and Thanks for Watching
Great update Joe. My Mule is a 2017, and I don't think I have around 130 hours. Our 610 Mule is our workhorse around the farm. It is a 2006 and has been trouble free. Knock on wood, Lol. Have a great day bud!
Its amazing that the Mule has been in production since 1988 at the Quarry we have a 1990 model that is still in use today . Now our models are a little better looking today😁 but these Mules have been a round for a while Have a good Day Buddy and Thanks for Watching
I have a 2021 Mule and it is truly a mule! I live in the North Carolina Mountains and this thing will go just about anywhere! I am wanting to put a wench on it. Mainly for pulling medium size logs or rocks out of the woods. Any suggestions as to what size wench I should put on it!
Yes Sir , Grandkids are very special my two Son's tell me all the time " We couldn't do that when we were kids ' and I reply you got away with more than you Think LOL . Thanks for the comment and Thanks for Watching
Hello! Great video. I noticed you said the width is 79 inches I believe. We were assuming it was 64 in based on specifications, but I am wondering if the fender flares hang out over and make it wider than the 64 in. If so it will not fit on some of our trails. We currently have an older mule with a 56 or so inch width. Any additional info you can give on any overhang of fenders beyond the edge of the tires or confirming whether 79 in is in fact correct would be very helpful. We are considering a purchase without seeing since they are hard to come by.
Good Morning and Thank You . The width of Mule 63.98 in. on spec with the flares its is just under 65in. and the overall height is 79 in. sorry if I said width in the video . You will need at least 65 inch's of trail width and that will be really close . This is a nice machine that ride smooth and handles very well I hope you find what you are looking for and Thanks for Watching
I was considering switching to one of these from a ranger, but having to flip the rear seats just to dump the box I changed my mind. Well done video btw 👍
Thank you for the review. Have you considered installing the hydraulic dump cylinder? It is really one of my only concerns with purchasing this machine, trying to lift a fully loaded bed in its current design is a struggle. Especially if the area being dumped in doesn't have a natural decline. Just curious if you have run into this issue, and your thoughts?
Hello Steve, I moved a full load of firewood and didn't have any trouble lifting the bed on flat ground, but I did load heavy to the back of the bed. One of our viewers has the hydraulic lift on his Mule and he likes it and said it was easy to install . Sorry I can't offer more info. Thanks for Watching
Hello and Thank You . I had it close to the hundy mark for you LOL I appreciate the humor . The Mule is a great machine . Thanks for Your Comment and Thanks for Watching
Hello, yes only one wheel is powered unless you use the differential lock switch which keeps both wheels active. I hope this helps and Thanks for Watching.
I subscribed, I want to thank you for the videos, I went and checked one out this last Tuesday, could not buy it cause it was already spoken for, after watching your video and checking the one they had there, I put 500 down and went on the list, I'm patiently waiting cause the wait is between 30-60 days, but that's not bad cause everywhere else I called said it could take up to 6 months to get one, like yours, I want the ranch platinum bronze, they got a platinum silver in, but to me, I like the bronze better, I have one a couple of ?'s for you. 1. How did you do your break in period? I have heard way to many different methods of doing it. ? # 2. I've heard guys complain about shifting problems, have you had this problem or any problems with yours so far? ? # 3. Did you buy the extended warranty? Every forum I've read said their so tough and reliable that the extended warranty is not needed and a waste of money that could be used for accessories, how do you feel about that, looking forward to your answers, keep the videos coming, Take Care, God Bless you and yours, be safe.
Hello Michael and Welcome to Our Channel . The Break In Period is very important and the Manual will have everything you need to know but the most important one in my opinion here is No Full Throttle for the first 20 hrs. give the moving parts of the motor and drivetrain time to wear in before heavy use . I have not had any shifting problems I make sure to stop completely before going to low gear or reverse or activating 4 wheel drive or differential lock these machines drive and ride as well as my pickup so I operate accordingly .I did not purchase the extended warranty due to the way I operate my Mule on a daily base's here the 3 year warranty is enough . If you need to see how this machine performs for me the channel has over 100 videos of the Mule in operation including some very tough jobs that exceed the design and intended use of the machine . Welcome to the Mule Club Sir , and Thanks for Watching
The big turn off for me is the Lack of the Front diff lock. I hope Kawasaki put one on in the up coming change and changes and the rear end slump on these so that the rake of the machine is up/forward. No slumped in the rear. The Yamaha Viking surfers from the same thing.
Hello and Welcome . I agree the front Differential would be nice . Considering the amount of money We pay for any of these machines no matter what Brand it seems to me they could give a little more value to us consumers LOL . I will tell you that I have had a lot of fun with one and the Mule works as good as it plays and very comfortable . Thanks for Your Comment and Thanks for Watching .
Thank you for such a thorough run through of the machine! I've got one on order and will be using for big game hunting. I'm curious if you've got any preferences on ways to attach a kolpin 6.0 gun boot to the machine such that you do not lose any bed space in either the 2 row or single row seat configurations? everything I'm seeing so far online seems to take the bed space away in that it attaches the boot at a 45 degree angle midway through the bed, and I'm thinking there might be better options; potentially by attaching to the rack? just curious if you've tried anything for your setup?
Hello Steve and Welcome , I went over and took a look at the Kolpin boot it looks to me like you may be able to mount the case from the side of the bed pointing the barrel end out of the back the bed has a rail you can attach mounting bracket's to . Also you can definitely mount to the top and not take any bed space , You will have fun dialing in the Machine the way You want it . Have fun and Thanks for Watching

I bought that one last year spring time and got it street legal and plated. One thing I absolutely hate is that you can clean it up inside and out and one 15 minute drive the inside is covered in dust. Dirt trails and roads it suck’s because you’re always eating dust. Wish I didn’t buy it.

That smell and thunking sound is your belt slipping and the clutch grabbing when the RPMs getting high enough for the clutch to grab the belt! And that explains the belt smell!
