When this first came out I watched it with my oldest son who was 14 at the time. He still says that the way they depict Lucifer is one of the scariest things he’s seen in a movie because they make him look like the grandpa that lives next door instead of some terrible demonic creature.
@@VladislavBabbitt Why would you not need one? The character is a long running DC comics character, and there are plenty of stories they can tell. What I love most about this movie is that it does not stop to explain things to you. There's a lot of wonderful realizations and discoveries for many times watching it.
I was coming to say this. Like the thing about cats being half in, lesser films would spend time explaining what that meant. It doesn't spoon feed, this is how this world is
YES! For instance, this is one of my favorite movies and I've seen it, like, 20 times, but only today I figured that Angela got the spear because the rules say so, and it was lost since WW2. That's because H*TLER WAS THE POSSESSED, just like Angela
Yes, that's what I love too. It's the little details like in his apartment you see dozens and dozens of full water cooler bottles lined up along the walls just under the windows. None of the characters ever explain or even mention them but you assume they're some sort of make shift holy water barrier to keep demons from crashing in.
Its a show don't tell, there is a bit of exposure but really a minimal amount to not have the audience lost completly. And for the rest, its a bit a mixed bag of everything that people knows about folklore and supernatural through stories. Peter Stormare was amazing as Satan. In the original script Satan is dressed in black leather with spikes like a biker. It was Stormare’s idea to give him the white suit but have tar dripping from his feet. Just a brilliant depiction.
This is the movie that made me fall in love with Tilda Swinton as an actor. Her performance as Gabriel is soooooo good. Feels so real, relatable, and understandable for the character to believe and do as they do. Equal parts creepy, inspirational, and sympathetic.
"That guy... bulbasaur" 🤣🤣🤣 Balthazar (named for one of the 3 wise men) is played by Gavin Rossdale, lead singer of the band Bush and ex-husband of Gwen Stefani
Yes! Very pumped. :) Hope it happens. Wouldn't mind seeing Tilda Swinton's Gabriel again as well btw... She's mortal now, so she would have aged naturally since then.
@@ct6852 Trailer was extremely fake. I've reported that youtube page so many times for fake information, which is against their policy, but nothing ever happens. Best I can find is that writers say it's in development. It's been put up on IMDB but that wouldn't be the first time a fake film or sequel was put on there just to never be made. In truth, Reeves has said for years that he'd like it to happen but he isn't filming it now or anything.
Before Keanu Reeves was John Wick kicking ass in a suit, he was Constantine, kicking (demon's) ass in a suit. Also, Peter Stormare gives one of the best performances of his life as lucifer here, which he's only in the movie for like 5 minutes and Tilda Swinton as a genderless angel is just so perfect as well! Nevertheless, this is such a ridiculously underrated movie. I had no exposure to the character prior to the movie, so I absolutely LOVED it and this movie really doesn't get enough love, in my opinion.
The Prophecy, with Christopher Walken as Gabriel, has another great cinematic Satan played by Viggo Mortensen. He's only in 3 scenes but he's phenomenal.
Such an underrated movie! Keanu and Rachel have great chemistry. Peter Stormare as Lucifer and Tilda Swinton as Gabriel is perfect casting. The visual FX are fantastic. Great camera work and just a really great story. It's aged so well!
@@hulkslayer626 I was thinking more of comics John. In the comics John doesn’t really care about Heaven and deities and demons of all religions equally exist, not just the Abrahamic god as seen in the movie.
The golden era of comic adaptions. One of those movies which failed in cinema and did become a classic later. Fans are still begging for a part two to this day. Strongly recomment to watch Blade and Hellboy 1-2 next.
"I hope it's not too, like... exorcism-ey, and devil-ey, and possession-ey...". Oh, Cassie.... 💕 I so much want to hug you, whenever you say things like that at the beginning of a movie (in which the very things you don't want are literally the entire plot..!).
@@PopcornInBed I was kind of assuming you maybe misspoke and meant fantasy (dragons & Dragon's breath). Although Van Helsing is good for that (another movie inspired into being after the success of The Mummy in 1999)
In case you missed it, that's Michelle Monaghan at 30:45. Her character Ellie was supposed to be John's half-breed love interest but the whole arc was scrapped from the film.
Also, Balthazar is played by Gavin Rossdale, the lead singer of Bush, and he was married to Gwen Stefani for 14 years (they have two kids together as well). This movie has a really great cast! I’m surprised she didn’t catch that was Michelle Monaghan seeing as how they were really into the Mission Impossible films.
I wondered why Michelle, such a great actor, only got a non-speaking 5 seconds of screen time role. Always thought that was odd. Thanks for the info. I hope they don't ruin the wonderful world-building of the Constantine 1 universe with Constantine 2. Love this movie.
@@themrmarkprior As I understand it, the director wanted to emphasize Constantine's loneliness and reclusive nature, and having a girlfriend to lean on detracted from that. It's a shame really that there isn't even a director's cut showing her deleted scenes. Her character was interesting: a disgraced succubus who fled Hell and ultimately befriended John.
@@themrmarkprior Well, she said two words in that 5 seconds, so that makes it a speaking role 😉But yeah, it's weird seeing such a good and famous actor for such a short amount of time in a movie.
when The Mummy was released in 1999 had never heard of Rachel Weisz; after that feel like she started popping up everywhere: Enemy at the Gates, Confidence, Runaway Jury, Constantine, The Constant Gardener (won her Oscar), Fred Claus, Definitely, Maybe, the list goes on; she's really talented so glad to see that her career flourished
She basically pulled a Hugh Jackman. Dude did X-Men and then he was in several movies almost back to back. Someone Like You, Swordfish, Kate and Leopold.
Speaking of Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, I was just coming here to mention a movie starring both of them which I rarely see get mentioned, the Fountain by Darren Aronofsky. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it has an interesting feel to it and I've wanted to hear what other people think.
@@Falcun21Riding the wave as they call it. Personally I think accepting too many roles so close together isn't a great idea. People either get sick of seeing you on screen, they compare your roles in recent movies to the detriment of the current picture, and if you take a bad movie it stands put and that gets noticed by all of Hollywood.
@@jpate1103 On the other hand, strike while the iron is hot. Most screen careers do not last long. For most actors who find themselves suddenly popular and successful, the choice isn't between doing a bunch of movies close together or spreading them apart. It's between between doing a bunch of movies close together, or not doing more movies.
Such a great movie. Keanu has said in many interviews this was one of his very favorite characters to play and one movie he wished they would make a sequel to.
"Constantine" is a reference to Constantine I (Flavius Valerius Constantinus), also known as Constantine the Great, the Roman emperor who converted to Christianity and converted the Roman Empire into a Christian nation, laying the foundation for both the Catholic Church in Rome and the Orthodox Church in the former Greek city of Byzantium, later called Constantinople, today known as the Turkish city of Istanbul. The character of John Constantine was created by comic book writer Alan Moore in the Hellblazer comic book series published by DC Comics.
@@Tampahop Shit I came into the comments to make the joke, because I couldn't get past the word "Istanbul" without singing it, but you beat me by a couple minutes 😂😂
@@gdiaz8827 Me too, I always liked how they teased that. Angela thinks he's gonna kiss her a few times in the movie in the bathtub scene & near the end when she comes to & both times he leaves her hanging. At the end, John thinks she's gonna kiss him & she's the one that leaves him hanging. I thought Cassie was gonna pick up on that tbh.
When asked what character he really wanted to play again out of all of them.... Keanu said John Constantine!!! He has fought long and hard for a sequel!!!
The problem is that since Constantine is a DC (well, Vertigo) character I think he is owned by Warner Brothers and they dont know what to do with him. It could also be that they want the proper Constantine be more like the original, blond and british.
I liked in the "Cloverfield" video when the characters in the movie enable night vision on their camera, and the popcorn bucket went flying and spinning through the air. Hilarious! :D
There's still teeth marks on the scenery from Tilda And Peter Stormare(lucifer) chewing it so damn hard in this. They completely steal the movie. Amazing cast. Underrated little gem.
When Constantine cuts his wrists to summon Lucifer, he cut through tendons which is why he was unable to manipulate his lighter to light his cigarette. Later, when Constantine is ascending (37:20) IIRC the director said the same Divine force lifting him up was also moving his hand. ...in other words, God was giving Lucifer the finger!
When you realize Balthazar is Gavin Rossdale, the lead singer of the 90s rock/grunge band Bush, and previously married to Gwen Stefani, lead singer of No Doubt.
Was disappointed she didn't keep credits playing and see it! Although i've seen this movie a dozen times and only became aware of a post credit scene just last year!
@@PloverAthletics Exactly! Which is why I was outraged I had never heard of it, no idea it was there all these years! That smirk he gives Constantine just perfect

Fun fact: Constantine's appearance was based on English musician Sting, the frontman for The Police. Alan Moore, along with artists Steve Bissette and John Totleben, drew inspiration from a rock star and chose Sting, as all three were massive fans of The Police. John Constantine himself was even a founder and member of a British punk band called Mucous Membrane in the comics. However, Gary Lester, another member of the band, saw them as leaning more towards New Romantic, a genre known as New Wave in the U.S. For context, Constantine was born in Liverpool, making him a distinctly British character, though the film adaptation took a more Americanized approach to his portrayal.
That's funny because Constantine is all about his vices and Sting is a famous health-nut weirdo whose only vice is tantric sex which kind of doesn't count because it's part of his health-weirdo routine...
@@chrisleebowers He always reminded me more of Billy Idol when it came to his personality and punk background. But visual appearance wise, according to the creators he was very much modeled after Sting.
At the time this movie was still new, people were more upset by that this Constantine has dark hair (versus the original blonde), than that he's murican rather than english... ;) It would also seem this movie is being held higher in regard nowadays, than around the time of its release. Of course, I personally always did like it a lot, so I never had to become converted... ;)
@@lennyvalentin6485 I liked this film, too, although I'd read the "Hellblazer" comics -- it was one of the few DC titles I kinda liked. While this version of Constantine is better than a lot of whiners wanted to admit at the time of its release, I do prefer Matt Ryan's portrayal. Honorable mention goes to Jenna Coleman's Johanna Constantine, as well, in the Netflix series, "The Sandman."
oh, another thing it seems you didn’t know, this is a DC comic character, so it is full of paranormal fantasy. Actually in some comics and animated movies , Constantine team up with others superheroes, like Batman, Superman, Flash, etc…
The character of John Constantine ~originated~ in DC's *Swamp Thing,* in a 6-part(?) story arc. I collected that arc, back in the day; it was a fantastic story. And the true-to-the-actual-comics character of Constantine (i.e. a blond Brit who resembled Sting) was a regular for a while in the CW "Arrowverse," having guested on *Arrow* before moving on to recurring-guest-then-regular in *Legends of Tomorrow.* Before that, there was actually an unfortunately short-lived series called *Constantine,* starring the same actor who played him in the aforementioned "Arrowverse" shows.
Cassie's narration near the end actually cracked me up. "He's of course gonna live an amazing and beautiful life, and love because he's changed." Suffice it to say instead of all that, John, like the adage says, "lives in interesting times."
0:26 The fact that you started the list of Keanu’s characters with Shane falco is the greatest thing I have heard in a long time lol. The replacements is a severely underrated movie in my opinion. Thank you very much for making my day.
Lady saw a guy get run over at 100mph and just walk it off, and then a demon jump out of a girl's neck and only 5 minutes later does she go "are we dealing with the supernatural here?" xD
I've thought this before, that she would have had an even bigger career if she didn't do the American accent so often. She has such a nice voice in her native accent but when she goes American it becomes an annoying drawl. America is the melting pot. She could play an American cop with a British accent, it doesn't matter. In fact she did another movie with Keanu (worth watching for this channel) with her British accent. She plays a researcher in an American university and it's perfectly normal to have a British accent, no one said "this is 'Merica, you better speak 'Merican for this movie."
Whenever you introduce religious theology into a sci-fi / horror / comic book movie, you are going to have an element of horror that sits with you more than any Freddy or Jason movie. It plays on the fears that most of us had as children, and subconsciously as adults as well.
The priest trying to drink is like a real nightmare. When you are ill, having a fever dream and being thirsty, nothing quenching your thirst. A powerful scene.
@@nbartlett6538 The script for Constantine 2 is finished. Keanu Reeves is expected to reprise his role as John Constantine, while Francis Lawrence is returning as director.
I don't know if someone has said it since you watched this movie, but this is a superhero movie. In fact, Constantine is from the DC universe along with Batman and Superman. I am SO impatient to see that!
That is not correct. He is known for officially splitting the Roman Empire into East and West and selecting Byzantion as the capital of the East which was latter renamed after him ( Constantinople ) In regards to Christianity he converted himself and made Christianity legal (It was persecuted before him) but he certainly did not officially convert the empire to Christianity. Roman paganism was still the main and official religion for quite some time after him.
Dear Cassie = I am highly impressed. This movie throws a lot of people, leaving them at the end thinking "What did miss? That made no sense." But you kept up with every plot twist blow-for-blow. You've come a very long way in a few short years. At this rate I give it a year before you become a movie-psychic, reliably predicting twists before they happen.

I'm trouble having to get to sleep, but rather watch a movie with someone else. Its a comfort thing. I fall asleep in hospitals immediately because of the light voices of people talking and your channel helps me.
If there's ever a time when you might need it and PIB isn't available for whatever reason, there are also a lot of white-noise apps and RUclips channels that offer background noise, often including contexts like "quiet cafe" with sounds of muffled and indistinct conversation.
I've been watching Cassie long enough to know her biggest disappointment in this film was Keanu and Rachel Weisz never kissed! 😢 LOL! (By the way, keep your eyes open for Gavin Rossdale, singer of the band Bush and the former Mr. Gwen Stefani)
John Constantine is a former punk rocker and a magic wielder and exorcist, doomed to hell for cheating the Devil. He first appeared in the Swamp Thing comics, of the late 80s, and in the pages of John Constantine HELLBLAZER thru the 90s and early 2000s. The end Boss was Lucifer, played by Peter Stormare. LUCIFER , in the comics, would abandon Hell to Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, and take up residence on Earth He had a good run with his FOX/Netflix series. Constantine would return for a couple seasons of his own series on NBC, and as a regular on most seasons of CW's Legends of Tomorrow. On both shows he was played by Matt Ryan
Swamp Thing 37 (Constantine's first appearance) was June 1985 so almost _exactly_ the _mid_ 80s :). But yep, "Hellblazer" itself started in 1988, so _late_ 80s in that case.
But the funniest part for me was her asking if exorcisms and people crawling on the ceiling actually happen in real life 😂 No, we don't have demons and (real) exorcisms.
Not sure if you saw this or not but one note Cassie to think about with the character of John Constantine: He exists in the same universe as Batman and Superman. There's an animated DC movie that has Batman and Constantine team up with other "darker" heroes.
Balthazar the half demon is played by Gavin Rossdale, he is a singer, the lead singer of the 90 and early 2000's rock band Bush and was once married to Gwen Stefani of No Doubt they have 3 kids together which he Co-parents with Stefani and her current husband Country singer Blake Shelton. He also had a daughter from a earlier relationship with fashionable designer Pearl Lowe, Daisy Lowe and Daisy is a model.
Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, and Morgan Freeman were in the 1996 movie Chain Reaction. It was not a very memorable movie but I guess it was good exposure for two young actors to be in a movie with Morgan Freeman. Loved this reaction as usual, Cassie.
The thing that John removed from his friend's neck was an amulet of protection of sorts. It prevented him from having his visions for starters, but also prevented people like Balthazaar from being able to affect him like he ultimately did. He needed him to have his visions though, because he sensed that something was coming, and it would have protected Angela if she'd kept it around her neck instead of accidently leaving it in the car.
Keanu Reaves is such an underrated actor. Not only does he does a good job acting but he does a great job choosing his movies. He has done so many movies that are worth rewatching over and over again. Constantine is very thought provoking, a deep movie that makes you consider so many things about yourself and the world around you. It's great that it doesn't explain everything to you, you have to use your brain to figure it out. It's too bad it took 20 yrs to make a sequel.
"Constantine" is a common name in history and antiquity. There are at least 20 well-known emperors and rulers named Constantine. The name is obviously cognate with the simple word "constant," and so it means something like steadfast/sturdy. A pretty good name for a leader.
I'm surprised Gavin Rossdale wasn't in more movies, especially after the band broke up. His appearance in this reminds of Mick Jagger's appearance in Freejack... in that both did amazing for being so recognizable as muscians but helping us forget that fact through their great performances.
I really enjoyed you asking if we were dealing with the supernatural when he was getting his supplies, after he PULLED A DEMON OUT OF GIRL... No hate, this is why I watch your channel.
Lucifer Morningstar "Ah John Con-stan-tyne" John "it pronunced Con-stan-teen" Lucifer "Are you sure about that Johny?" lol In the Hellrazer comics then the DC comics. John is a human magic user, conman who pulls so many cons and tricks against bad guys and the forces of hell. That they all want him dead many times over and also to own his soul, for Eon's of torcher.
I always took Lucifer’s remark here as sorts of an Easter Egg because Lucifer is the only one in the movie that says “Constantine” properly. It is “Con-stan-teyen” not “Con-stan-teen”.
This movie was hands down one of the best comic book movies. If you're into reading, I'd suggest picking a few of them up they are all relatively cheap, Constantine is part of the DC Universe, and had a run where he was part of the Justice League at one point. There's also an animated mini-series called City of Demons that features him.
A surprisingly interesting movie. I feel like I could watch Constantine, The Black Stallion, and Oblivion endlessly, on repeat, and never tire of their atmosphere.
Marvel did the “Midnight Massacre” series of comics where Blade got possessed and starting killing supernatural beings and absorbing their powers. He killed Johnny Blaze, Morbius, Hannibal King, Modred, Werewolf by Night, Demogobin and a few others. As far as crossovers, Image and DC both did a Batman Spawn crossover issue. The artwork in the Image comic looked amazing.
Constantine is DC, Blade and Ghost Rider are Marvel lmao. Also, Constantine teams up with Dylan Dog (who also has a movie but not many people saw it) and two of them head to the underworld.
I loved this movie so much. It's so underrated. I also enjoyed the 2014 TV series and the few times he appeared in the DC Animated stuff. Great character.
28:08 «I need to use the chair» sounds like Keanu rehearsing John Wick’s “Im gonna need a gun”) Also, “yeah” a little later sounds exactly like John Wick

Peter Stormare as others have said is fire, a very unique portrayal. Almost dripping in rage and perversity. Tilda Swinton is also total fire as Gabriel, I just love the way she generates unease. I think you point out really well during the bath/drowning scene "is this a twist?". I think it's been done really well up to the that point that everything John has done so far that she has seen could have been a con. The boiling water, the smoking jacket, all happened while she was out of the room. Classic trickery of the fraudster, the exorcist, the medium.
The horror-noir subgenre is a genre we should visit more often. At the time audiences weren't sure what to make of it but those of us geeks familiar with Vertigo Comics, an offshoot of DC, knew their brand of dark humor. They did publish "V For Vendetta", "Preacher" and "The Sandman" as well as "Hellblazer".
The elevation that Rachel gave this movie for you is universal❤ Keanu is a given favorite, but everyone gets more excited when they find out Evie is in this.😂😂 The third geek-out is always Tilda.❤❤❤ This was actually the first movie i ever saw her in.
Constantine was a Roman emperor who 'embraced' Christianity in an attempt to reunite a crumbling empire which ended up splitting into two parts. Constantinople, named after him, was then the capital of the Byzantine Empire and is now called Istanbul.
You've much to learn. As a boy I had one under my bed. Lived to torment me in dreams and nightmares. My father used to laugh at my terror. I finally was able to remove it through prayer at age 64. When it left me it leaped from under my bed. A shapeless black blob. Angry it sat on my chest grabbed my throat, I screamed NO MORE, and swung with all my fear..it scurried down the hall, and left enraged.. Every word of this is true. Thank you Christ Jesus.
"oh not that guy" when lou shows up, the realization he took the cancer so Constantine would live.. and other things you noticed that often are missed, your channel is the best reaction content for real
"What does the name Constantine mean? Is that like a name for an angel, a devil, a saint?" It's a perfectly normal, and not even particularly uncommon name. It's seriously old-school, going back to ancient Greece and Rome. It means the same thing as "constant" except as a name. You've probably met someone named Constantine, or one of its close variants, in your life at some point
In my humble opinion, this is the most underrated film of my lifetime (40 years). Every actor is perfect in their role, Peter Stormare is *chefs kiss* as Lucifer, my favourite portrayal of him, and it’s the moment I fell in love with Djimon Hounsou. One of my all time favourites 🖤
I love this movie. The whole world and lore it creates (based on the comics of course), and Keanu is just perfect in the role, even if he is not British or blonde. I think this is just a great movie.
Note that John's place has big steel shutters on all sides of the building and he surrounded it with bottles of water at the perimeter. Basically defenses so that no demons can extend themselves into his home. Also masterful weaving of plot: 2:32 - The spear is wrapped in a Nazi flag in Argentina. Nazi's pillaged and took many religious artifacts around World War 2, and after the war ended many officers escaped to Argentina to setup Nazi political groups in exile. 10:20 - Gabriel tells John exactly his way out at the end. Above the fireplace where Gabriel is standing is a painting of Jesus being killed on the cross by the Spear of Destiny. 13:17 - Sure will... 14:34 - A regular Kismet. Kismet being a word for Fates, Destiny, Predestination. (e.g. their interaction and lives all played out to plan) 20:48 - Showing that the pool is in the shape of a cross. 20:58 - The decoration on the window has 666 (devils number) and/or 333 (angels number) encoded into the design into it. Both are featured all over in this movie's props & sets. 30:46 - Michelle Monaghan played Ellie a succubus who was in several films throughout the movie and the comic. She was a secondary love interest for John, originally sleeping with him in the film. Showing John as a kind of being a more superstar who frequented the clubs and was very suave. In the end they left all but this one shot on the cutting room floor, because in the end they felt John through selective editing they could make John a much darker lonely depressed seeming individual which gave more depth to the story. 33:47 - Tilda Swinton came up with the bands on Gabriels wrists. The original idea she had was that Gabriel would have written reminders to herself on her arms of all the concepts of man that made them special and important. It was originally supposed to have "Awakening", "Sorrow", "Rage", "Passion", "Love", "Joy", and "Melancholy" written on her. The director loved the idea but they as they were in a hospital stage they suddenly had the bright idea to use hospital admittance bracelets instead. They tried it and loved the look of her having all these things hanging off her wrists. 36:03 - Mammon while being privileged as the prince of hell, hates his father and wants to take over everything for himself, as stated in the bible of hell. So they are plotting behind Lucifer's back to try to tip the balance established between God and Lucifer and take over the mortal plane. 37:45 - And this gets into the comic book concept of John Constantine's story. He redeemed himself and now has the possibility to go to Heaven. However Lucifer wants him so badly that he keeps Constantine alive. Lucifer not only heals John of his cancer, he keeps on saving him over and over. This is because the longer Constantine is living on earth tackling with demons and surrounded by temptations the more chances he has to screw up again. Basically, making him semi-immortal and stuck in Limbo. And all the time he keeps acting as an exorcist and being an ass.
Watching this with you was like watching movies with my mom, before the movie even started she needed to know the plot and which characters survived. Peter Stormare was fun in John Wick 2 at the start of the film "He killed two men in a bar with a pencil!"

For context, Constantine was born in Liverpool, making him a distinctly British character, though the film adaptation took a more Americanized approach to his portrayal.

oh, another thing it seems you didn’t know, this is a DC comic character, so it is full of paranormal fantasy.

He is not a villian but often a reluctant hero. Constantine is a member of the Justice League Dark.

It's also a pagan symbol. So him being a catholic priest is kinda a no-no, but more so he could help John yes.
Keanu Reaves is such an underrated actor. Not only does he does a good job acting but he does a great job choosing his movies. He has done so many movies that are worth rewatching over and over again. In fact, that’d be a great movie to react to, Dogma (1999)!

i ve been binge watching your vids for days.
best way to watch/refresh my memory on movies i ve watched long ago, and also learn about others that i ve missed.
good job!
The elevation that Rachel gave this movie for you is universal❤
Keanu is a given favorite, but everyone gets more excited when they find out Evie is in this.😂😂
The third geek-out is always Tilda.❤❤❤ This was actually the first movie i ever saw her in.
Constantine was a Roman emperor who 'embraced' Christianity in an attempt to reunite a crumbling empire which ended up splitting into two parts. Constantinople, named after him, was then the capital of the Byzantine Empire and is now called Istanbul.
Ive said it before but this is my absolute fav way to revisit films... through your eyes and reactions.
Thank you Christ Jesus.
you had a squatter for so long?
One of my all time favourite graphic novel adaptations and films of all time. Does not get the credit it deserves. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏻
There was an end scene you missed after the credits. You may want to take another look.
I don’t know which is funnier your initial jumps or the slow mo replays! I love them! Xxxxxx
Note that John's place has big steel shutters on all sides of the building and he surrounded it with bottles of water at the perimeter. Basically defenses so that no demons can extend themselves into his home.
Also masterful weaving of plot:
2:32 - The spear is wrapped in a Nazi flag in Argentina.
(e.g. their interaction and lives all played out to plan)
20:48 - Showing that the pool is in the shape of a cross.
Also if she was even slightly unsure she would make me and dad pause and explain. Her 5 most common words during most movie, that weren’t rom-coms, were who, what, when, where and why. 😂
Keanu has on record said he would love to make a sequel to Constantine, and I am ALL FOR IT! Please take my money!! This is one of my favorite movies, so underrated.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. A perfect 10. Nice to watch it with you.
I'm not even halfway through the reaction, Cassie you're such a trooper, you've come a long way with your taste of movies, and what you watch on the channel! I've been watching your channel for a long time, The Notebook is one of my favorites as well 👍😁😎
