- Well, I did it!!! After contemplating and putting it off, the universe kinda gave me a push. That error code I was receiving with my R6 popped up right in the middle of a session. So here we are...unboxing Mark ii.

I remembered my own unboxing experience when I got my R6ii. I felt and still feel invincible when I use my camera. The LP-E6N battery was the reason I opted for this model instead of the R8 and I'm glad I did.
@@Maximilan20 I'm tooo excited to start using it! That battery makes a huge difference!
I love mine. I was using a Canon 5D Mark IV and got this in addition. I love the ability to focus on the eyes of a subject. But I also shoot roller derby and sometimes their backs are towards me and will pick up the eye of a spectator. So I have my back button focus set up with one using eye detection and another for spot detection depending on which situation to avoid it focusing on an unintended target. Enjoy 😊

@@chiliverde66 That is a great idea!!! I am mainly a portrait photographer but also do some Landscape and architecture....so having the ability to "map" certain buttons for people and then Auto, will definitely come in handy. Excited to try it out!
Have you used it for video?
@@fromnishasview I haven’t done any video to speak of except to play around with it. I mainly photograph stills. I should get some experience with it but it isn’t a huge interest of mine.

I’m looking to get the same camera you have there are new battery grips models that will make the overheating problem a breeze also yeah the bigger batteries will def come in handy :) good luck to you and this great channel you have cheers
@@KDBroadCastings Thank you!!! I'm in Georgia and been a photographer for 10 yrs now. That bigger battery was truly the reason for my decision :)
