Recently there was a case where a Brazilian streamer was unfairly banned. And for me this was the last straw for paladins, I really liked playing it but the game just isn't fun anymore and the devs don't care about South Americans

@@Eh_o_tubas I never said he did, I also know his side from the story. Not surprising considering it's Hi-rez, one of the most useless companies out there. The only successful game they made was Smite. A it's a 10 old game.

i've actually only been dc'd once in 2 years of playing. i am not even in a well-populated part of the u.s. nor do i have great internet. i dunno if that's the entire reason for people going afk... thought i will admit to having experienced a ton of lag.
one thing i hate with it rn is that I'll have a player on my team who literally just sits in spawn for half the match and this happens, no fail, at least every 6 matches I'm in
I played Paladins for a while and made a video about my experience. It was fun, but I have to say: sell the IP to another studio. This game had so many directors that constantly changed its nature. It never had a real roadmap, and every time a developer left, the game changed as well (including balance, art style, game types, and monetization). There was no consistency. The lack of real punishment for griefers and the astonishing amount of missing QoL features are major issues. I play Paladins every once in a while or with friends whose PCs can't handle anything else.
Back in the day, I created a 130-page QoL document and shared it with the devs, but it was overlooked. That's when I decided to leave, with a heavy heart. I've always wanted an FPS champion-based game, and that was my biggest wish back in 2013. Seeing Paladins not flourish or unlock its potential hurts me, but what else can I do? I'm not a shareholder or a rich man. All I can do is enjoy the last days of this game that brought me so many different emotions.
Please, don't make Paladins 2. Sell the IP to a more competent studio and start over with the most dedicated community you can gather from current Paladins. Be prepared for everything, including server issues, cheaters, balance, monetization, and the pro scene. Don't release incomplete products. Let's go back to paying $20 for a base game and buying DLCs instead of battle passes.
Enough yapping. I don't think any of this will happen. My only hope is that Hi-Rez doesn't make Paladins 2, or it will end up like Realm Royale, DKO, or any other cash grab that had enormous potential but is now dead.

Speaking of the game crashes it reminds when I used to play on the Switch with friends we made a rule that every 3 games we'd restart Paladins otherwise the game would just crash
As for the bugs, I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. I play 3-4 hours per day and I almost never have any bugs or very rarely crash. I think most of the time people try to play the game with bad internet connection so they dc many times. I almost never get disconnected and if I do I’m back in the game in 2 minutes. Most of the afks don’t come back which makes me think they quit on purpose. I also get that new champions boost the number of new players but they can’t keep pushing out new champions, we already have way too many. For a new player it takes now ages to understand how each champ works, their abilities and how to counter them. Not to mention with the added items now sometimes even I have difficulties figuring out if I should buy this or that against certain champions. I think the biggest issue at the moment is the number of afks and cheaters, right now we have so many cheaters and there is no way to get them banned. You report them but nothing happens. It’s just so frustrating and kills all the fun. I agree on the shop and the chest system. I absolutely hate that I’m grinding the quests now so I get a golden chest just to be awarded with a random pose of a champion I never play. Like seriously what the actual f? Let me choose what I want to get, right now it just makes it completely unattractive to try to get any reward. I finally got 250 commendation to get the purple chest and I was awarded with a Kinessa gun skin🥲
I believe the last few patches been spent on rework. Nando, Furia, the stealth system, Willo, etc. But yeah the AFKers and hackers are real headache

Dead by daylight is the same way, the thing is people never really take advantage of bot matches to learn how to play good
Rainbow Six did great where they force you to play against AI for a certain amount of time before even being allowed in player vs player
God forbid a game has a learning curve. Maybe it's a good thing that brainlet shitters who don't want to learn the game don't stay.

I'm sure smite 2 gonna fail because it when a game is already good people don'T want to start anew buying all skins and unlocking champions... so what is the point of doing a smite 2?
many gonna stay on smile while other gonna go on smite 2 and it gonna divide the player base or they gonna have to do like blizzard and close smite 1 and thus piss all those players who already invested so much to start anew...
it's a really bad market strategy to do that...
but for Paladins... it would bring back many left players and give it more visibility.
me and my friend decided to hop on paladins a few days ago as we had a break of about a year and we really used to like the game back then. In the very first match we met a cheater who hit us instantly whenever we peeked from around a corner and that was the only match we played before deleting the game. Neither of us want to waste our time on a game with cheaters and that's why paladins has lost us at least.
I'm new to the game but a Paladins 2 would allow them to rip up and rebuilt a lot of their mechanics. A lot of the game feels like it's just on shaky foundation and is held together with hopes and dreams.
Supports are a huge issue in the game and they can't seem to be able to handle the problem, the Anti-Heal/Cauterize mechanic is a really terrible bandaid....

Cheaters + AFKers + Sabotaging Teams + Unbalanced match + paladin match bug disconnection. The worst one yet was when all of us reported a blatant cheater speedhacking/aimbotting around the map, and still not banned a week after.... and Of course it has a Chinese name/language on it...

It would be fair if we could distribute the four novices to both teams.
If you have 4 beginners on one team, the match will be very boring and unproductive!

The real problem is that there are Arab players from other regions, such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and many Arab countries, and we are forced to play on a European server. I wish we had a server close to us.
Just want to say, the reason i stopped playing paladins is purely because i have a level 150 account that i have spent over $3k on. but i no longer have a playstation so i'm on pc now. there is no cross-progression, and as a result i just feel like i've wasted all of my time and money every time i open the game on pc.

I wanna talk about why I stopped playing this game and why I think the game is dying. So I started playing this game in 2022 and I was grinding this game with my friend day night but then it got boring and I stopped playing because I really really didn't like the maps I still do imo I think the maps are trash and there was no point playing this game because it was extremely repetitive and 2 months ago I downloaded the game again played for a week and got bored and I'm never touching the game again and also the battle pass is trash

Paladins died in 2019 since than game is just worse and worse not a single most basic thing fixed in YEARS i played that game for 7 years and im done.
I dunno about paladins 2... but I would just want the very same game with all the code rewritten to not bug anymore...

For me some of the new champions ruin the game for me.
I do like azaan, nyx, rei for example, but I preferred when vora was added.
Also role cue is a must, to many people are afraid of playing tank in this game, and the tanks are designed to have a point role and off role.
Moving from paladins to overwatch can be a must do in terms of getting better at paladins, I learned alot from overwacht, but you have to have role cue imo.
I am still playing paladins today when I have the time.
Its my fovorite game of all time, would be a shame to drop dead.
Next thing is maps, rotation is oke I think, but map quality is poor. Alot of the maps are just not that fun to play, and the snowball effect on some is too good togheter with people insta locking their favorite champion, its all a frustration sometimes.
Anyway, I go finish the video, hopfully the devs see some of the reactions of content ceators and find a better ballance.
in casual afk is fine but ranked not :)) Bugs are not a reason for old engine bugs are the reason of poor code that was written by many devs along the way.
The ONLY reason i dont play paladins is due to the fact there is no cross progression between ps and pc.
Paladins is one of those games where I pick it up for like a week and then drop it for a few seasons before coming back. I've run into hackers here and there but not a ton. AFK players are in abundance though. The matchmaking is pretty bad. My teammates are always AFK or running 3 supports or something dumb, while the enemy team is all perfectly balanced and all super high lvl. It's a game I can't enjoy unless I'm bringing like 2-3 friends along. The aim assist being broken though, I play both controller and mnk and I don't agree there. Skye in particular excels on controller only because of aim assist but literally every other character is just better on mnk. MnK is and always will be the better input. We have to stop complaining about that in every game Lol Paladins isn't suffering because of that.

I think advertisement is one of the biggest issues I never see people talk about the advertainment. Most of the people I see came from word of mouth.
Aim assist: As a former console player I can say the aim assist is annoying but also a little needed. If it was still console vs. console it would be fine to remove it completely, but because crossplay is so necessary rn I think it would be difficult to remove it entirely. I would focus on fine tuning it so it would disable at closer ranges but would still help when targets are in the air or finishing a movement ability. (Andro, vatu, VII, ect are quite difficult to track on controller)
I would love to see them try a role Q similar to OW2.
Give us something to do/ grind for: once the BP is complete and the first wave of ranked is done there is nothing to do but wait a long Q to lose in 10 min or win in 10.
A remake option: I hate loading into a game only to have a teammate afk or dc. I would much rather be able to give up then waste 10mins getting bmed by my enemies then losing elo for bad severs or dcs.
Rewards for new players: New players have no incentive to stay and learn a game when they are against diamonds/plats every game, and put simply it takes way to long to get new champs.
I would start by making a more uniform price like 20-25k instead of 15-50K. Give them their own pass of sorts to get them started that is free and gives them gold, diamonds, a skin OF THEIR CHOISE NOT A LOOT BOX OF EMOTES a voucher for a free skin would be best i think. As well a five champ vouchers, or take a note out of Valorants book and let them do a mini pass to get the character or give them the option of immediate purchase.
This is gonna be controversial but I genuinely think Lootboxes should stay, or at the very least don't do what Overwatch does since that system is just flat out garbage. They can add something as an alternative so you can get the skin you want instead of buying lots of lootboxes but I just genuinely do not want them to do what Overwatch does.
None of these are the reasons why the game bleeds players. But what else would i expect from the real reason why.

It’s NOT because there aren’t enough skins you can buy while you get stunned 15 times and bursted by a character who shouldn’t be in the game. Its not because there isn’t another broken champ added it the gameIt’s always gonna be because of the quality and the poor balancing leading to unfun matches. If you think it’s anything else you either haven’t been playing for long enough or you only play flank and cc heavy characters so you don’t see the issues that actually effect the game
Matchmaking is awful due to declined player base. Every match is full of cheaters, trolls, AFK'rs, and disconnects. Its virtually impossible to get a balanced ranked match. Maybe 1 out of 25. Also, why is half the game still locked behind stupid chest. Just make every item, skin, emote, etc available for direct purchase and eliminte chest all together. There is easily $100 worth of content I"d buy outright if it wasn't buried in a chest with 300 items in it. Also, why are there so many skins not even attainable in any way. Nando police skin is one example. Its such a great skin, yet totally unattainable. Its not even in a chest. The Frost Skin Furia is another example of a skin not attainable in any way that I know of. Just seems like all this is bad business. If this game was own/developed by a top level company, it would be BETTER then Overwatch.
Uhh cuz its not very good. Flank roll isnt a fun experience when ur new to deal with.
Invest in marketing but dont bring the pro scene, we dont need lobbies full of TTV sweats

when it comes to people DCing i dont see it often. Im a ranked andy and most of the time the problem is AFKers little crybaby children that give up even trying after you lose the first point fight. I do experience the occasional bug but its nothing compared to 2021. And i guess its just me but it gripes me when people talk about the lack of new champions when the game state is terrible. Bugs, Broken champions, Overpowered champions and then u got the Omen problem. That goddamn omen bug that so many people are abusing in ranked rn. All these problems and people still mald about not getting new champs.

The aim assist is still an insane problem. I’m a ps4 player, and it literally makes me loose battles all the time. Even tho I have it completely disabled, it still activates itself automatically, which is very irritating
U just suck balls at the game
Go into shooting range and just tweak the heck out of everything. The same thing was messing up my shots and finally got it smooth after a while
They are currently working on bugs and balancing and they are doing really good actually, btw never found a cheater but the matchmaking Need to be fixed too

I installed the game 3 days ago and ran into 3 cheaters. Ive had ow for years and havent ran into one yet
I've played 5 games after I played for 5 years. And I had 1 whole game 4 games disconnected
Also can they bring back Splash art?! I miss it:c ik that they stopped doing splash art because of money or something, but can we not at least keep the ones we have and leave characters that dont?? Or get splash art but just “worse”. I just miss ittt:(
They could start the list of things for Paladins 2 by going through all the shit they cut from Paladins 1 like parts and pieces.
Also, smite 2 looks like shit, I hope Paladins gets a better treatment if it ever happens.

What no one understands is that, yes, there are fewer players because there is no new content right now, but if they add more at this stage, the game will be unplayable. They should keep it alive but announce Paladins 2 as soon Smite 2 is safe. Well, if they are intelligent and make a Paladins 2. If we are being realistic, there was actually no period or only a very short period where Paladins was in a good, normal state. Actually, besides the bugs and player base, Paladins IS in the best state it has ever been. If they actually make a new and full release, with the over the years now fine-tuned modes and champions, and just focus on making it beautiful, smooth, more up-to-date, and bring back a few old and beloved things, it could be huge. HUGE HUGE.
And they should ad a fkin possibility to give up. Just a small vote system that is only possible if your team dies xx times or standing xx min.in the base. I understand that Givin up is against the game vibe. But 4 real if the game goes over 10-15min because enemy is farming you it's just stupid. Then make a time limit and if your team has let's say 30 deaths and no points, has 1 or more afk for xx min. or over 5 min. Standing in base, after 10-15min. give it at least the option to vote. It's acually so broken and still exists.

What people fail to realize with their cope of Paladins 2 is that they’ll fuck it up again because they adamantly refuse to learn from their mistakes. If they fucked it up now what hope do you guys have that they’ll get it right the second or even the third time around?
i keep trying to come back to this game cause i actually really enjoy it, but what kills it for me are the afk players, i recently quit again because i went 7 games in a row with atleast 1 afk, and it just really kills the morale
Double support and armour plating veteran have made the game so unfun
Also they invested in dko realm royale reforged and that game that had dr disrespect something and they failed
Sea server got ddos attacked and unable to matchmaking now... for over two weeks so i play in na serv with 230ping

Paladins has a much larger console player base. Steam charts are not reliable ngl. Also P.O.T.G adds way too many bugs and server issues. Evil Mojo does not have resources to continuously hammer out P.O.T.G issues

They'd jack up the skinshop by 300%, make the battle pass twice as long with half the rewards and sell alternate gamemodes aside from siege as DLC.

Just started playing paladins maybe 3-4 days ago. Overwatch is great and all and very polished but it’s got some hardcore issues and paladins has been such a refreshing game to play instead. I’ve really enjoyed the gameplay and flexibility of the hero’s. IMO, a graphics update would make this game IMMENSELY more appealing and fun.
