Playing valorant casually is fine too. It’s pretty fun to just play with friends in unrated. I started playing valorant in 2022 and have been hovering silver to low gold for most of my playtime until a couple friends and I decided to start trying ranked and hit plat
Another perspective to this game: just play for fun, try stupid strats, don’t play ranked, and q up with friends. Guaranteed fun, without the toxicity. :] Or do the dumb idea I’m doing and play knife only. Don’t have to worry about aiming if you’re just going to stab them in the back.
if only there was a version of valorant that was a simulation-sports game based on the MLB that released yearly and featured various singleplayer and multiplayer modes including Road to the Show. A thrilling career mode where you take your custom player and watch as they rise through the farm system and eventually prove themselves in the major leagues.
To me it depends, I've always enjoyed ranked games i.e Rianbow Six/ Overwatch, but those games are dead/cooked so this one was worth it to me. I love souls games so hard games were never an issue. And ranking up feels like beating a hard boss. And I love toxicity in game chat. Grew up on mw2 ps3 so I'm used to it😂😂
yo just wanted to give my two cents on some of the stuff you mentioned in the vid lol. just to preface i’m a huge loser and my lifestyle and career accommodate the time and effort i’ve put into what are essentially these corny ass virtual sports rather than simple games for fun this is coming from a radiant perspective, but when you were talking about the value of aim vs game sense and how great aim/bad game sense will always outshine average aim/average game sense, i really disagree. even marginally better game sense will more often than not set you up in positions to win even despite your lack in aim, and game sense extends beyond the brute force of just clicking a head and applies to every other facet of the game! i also hit challenger in league (told you i was a loser😬) and i think if league had voice chat like valorant then it’d easily be the more toxic game lol! valorant is thankfully the tiniest bit better bc even with voice chat, more often than not, it’s used as tinder rather than a channel for communication on the happenings of the game. league text chat in my experience has been more vile and egregious than valorant voice has been for me. at the same time, my skin is definitely thicker bc i’ve been hearing these absolutely horrendous things in video games since i was a young teen and have just internalized that these people just have unresolved issues irl that they are projecting onto their video games teammates. if you ever play more valorant for fun and aren’t super into improving, i’d advise to just mute anybody without warning if they something that isn’t to your liking, as it saves the time and brain power that you would’ve otherwise lost if you had to continue to listen to their BS. anyways i really enjoyed this video man and i just watched your hades video before this and loved that too, definitely subbing to you :D
Thank you for your input! I think you’re right for sure, game sense and aim go hand in hand. From personal experience, I value aim more, since I feel like I’ve more often than not put myself in very advantageous positions that resulted in nothing gained because I whiffed shots on everyone in front of me 💀 but obviously I’m bronze for a reason, so I’d need improvement in both to get anywhere. League’s toxicity is definitely a different breed; I peaked mid-plat in my climb back in the day (before emerald was around I think) which was considered the worst place to be ego wise and it was pretty insane. None of it really shakes me, but knowing that these are the people that I have to play with if I want to climb makes it hard for me to want to dedicate the time, since it feels hard to work together with these people anymore. Not impossible, but hard. All in all, I think it’s cool to be able to really dedicate the time to getting better at valorant, it just ended up being something I didn’t want to do. I had other things I wanted to do and other games I wanted to play (once the Elden ring dlc came out it was hard for me to focus on the grind LOL). But it’s cool to hear a high ranked player’s input on my thoughts and I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the video!
I was really on the fence whether I should start playing Valorant or not. Thanks for helping me dodge a fatal bullet 😀👍
Its rlly addictive, dont play it
Dont do it i was in the grind of ranked stopped and started playing singleplayer games and its so much better.

I think the real thesis of this video is that I don’t have that dog in me
this video was a breath of fresh air and I loved it. I forgot what this game looks like to someone who hasn't put in over 2k hours.
This is the most enjoyable video I've watched it a while. Sums up valorant pretty well 😂
You spent around roughly 210 dollars on this game! Enjoy the gun that sound a like a laser!!! Ooooooooo! (17 dollars)

Are the guns in Valorant more forgiving than in CS? Just asking.
how is this 118 like and 1.5k views? i just clicked on this because i was disassociating but was still able to understand the content
ah yes bronze as the lowest rank of valorant
0:47 old chart lol. Ascendant ain't there.
See you all in 2026!!
4:25 clove is still very good even after the nerfs. For ranked that is. In pro play clove kinda 💩
better than toast1ez
aight bro
nah, hes unfunny but informative,
toast1ez is FUNNY AND EXPLAINS LIKE A VCT COACH
The only people who play valorant are e daters and ex csgo and fortnite players
