Forgot to mention in the video: If you're on the DualSense, you're going to have to learn to feather your brakes and gas -- there's no way around that. With these settings, you shouldn't have issues controlling your acceleration. But if you don't get used to how much you can press L2 to brake, you're going to lock up your brakes very easily. One way around that is to enable ABS. If you're still having trouble, the Xbox controller might be a better option as the triggers are a lot more forgiving.
I didn't understand the difference between dualsense and xbox triggers. Do you mean that the xbox triggers have more travel so you can control the percentage of gas easier than with the dualsense ?
What you said about the Xbox triggers in comparison to the DualSense used to be true for the previous Forza Motorsport. For the new one, they changed how the physics work. Gas and brakes seem to be non-linear this time around, like some race cars in real life are. For some reason, it's difficult to tell when your brakes are about to lock up and when you gain traction under acceleration on the Xbox controller. The wider travel should in theory make for a smoother curve, but that's not the case, and it often transitions between lock states too sudden. Despite the shorter travel, the triggers on the DualSense respond in a more linear way than the Xbox controller on Forza Motorsport, which means that once you get used to the shorter travel, it's far easier to be smooth on the DualSense.
The fact that the dualsense isn't supported for PC game pass players REALLLLLLY gets under my skin. No proper sensitivity settings either. Unacceptable.
@@jidenshaotoko i use forzaDSX ver 0.5.8 with dualsense x and set the telemetry in game to the ip for forzadsx then the adaptive triggers work for gas and brake. can totally feel the braking and accel through the triggers it's game changing...
Just gave your setup a try, and it still feels bad. DualSense is great for everything else when it comes to racing games, but adaptive triggers is something I always turn off. You can feel the car just fine without it, it's just that it's a different muscle memory compared to the Xbox controller.

You got it dude 😅😅😅 I’ve tried loads of utubers setting thanks for making the game fun again
That’s was so helpful. Really fixed my lap time inconsistency’s.
Cheers for the advice, will give the settings a go! :)
Hope it helps!
Game changer! Thanks
my Xbox Series X Bluetooth controller doesn't even work with this game.

Yup, that really sucks. But the Steam Input translation for the DualSense isn't good either. Running it through DS4Windows feels much better.

@@gamersplaygroundliquidm3th526 Adaptive triggers in general suck, and I'm yet to see a game where it doesn't get in the way.
@@jidenshaotoko Increased my laptimes instantly and they work awesome in this game at least lol
