I use simulation on level 8 but I adjusted the deadzones and this has transformed my ability to get all cars around the track quickly. I will say though this game literally wants you to drift every car around every curve. I don't understand Turn 10s logic here. Making the cars feel outrageously heavy was a FM5 thing, I thought they got past this already.
I have been playing Forza Motorsport games for a decade now and I never learned how to tune cars, I had been using other people’s tunes. This video was quite helpful. When you have the time, please upload a comprehensive tuning tutorial video. Many thanks.
I strongly recommend getting into it...I know it's jarring at first but once you're familiar with everything it actually becomes quite fun to instinctively make tunings for each kind of track for each car. Not to mention the tremendous impact it will have on your performance. In F7 many if not most of the community tunings weren't all that great and learning to tune yourself was almost mandatory if you wanted to perform well in cars that weren't in the top meta
what makes Forza motorsports even better than Horizon 4/5 is the extra information regarding everything available to tune, @@AgeofJP @user-mb2hn2vm3y Read the side panels when you are in doubt, and otherwise :) test everything you think can/will work :) nothing to lose :D
The game looks pretty good. I've been playing Gran Turismo for 25 years. I played Forza and Horizons, though. Without a doubt, the best feature I've seen was turning on the visual track limits! I would love to see where the actual race track is (to avoid penalties). This is the greatest single feature I'd like to see Gran Turismo add.

Thanks. The publisher was nice enough to supply an early review key, so I thought some Forza content might be fun. I'll probably go back to semi-retirement after the next video.
All excellent tips, but I'd like to add as someone else has also commented, simulation steering is definitely the way to go even on controller, it's way more precise, and as long as you're not too aggressive you should be fine, it's vastly improved over Forza Motorsport 5,6,7 and the Horizon games, in fact it's on a par with simulations steering from Motorsport 4 and that was a game changer in that game, unfortunately in order to power shift like you used to be able you'll need to upgrade the clutch to racing and lower the dead zones in the settings, I'd also recommend switching clutch button to LB and using the right stick as a shifter for additional immersion
Worst part is brake usage inducing faster times way past trailbraking point. 4 wheel slides should destroy lap times, here all the time you have to dig on it to prevent gran turismo style understeer. Hope they raise the bar in future updates because the races are solid challenge.
As a newbie to racing games...i cant thank you enough for this awesome breakdown. Great amount of info shared on this quick video. Subbed!!! Thank you man...ill be coming back to your vids often!

The mustang was easy to drive and didnt even have to do power mods. Also I almost got the cayman, but seeing that the Alpine was like 700lbs lighter, it was the superior car.

I'm glad you like the grinding and leveling up, but a whole lot of people aren't playing motorsports games to play a "role playing game". They chose the racing genre for the racing experience.
yeah I want the win button back! @@keyser456
@@keyser456 Unlocking parts and upgrading your car isn't the "racing experience," driving the car around the track is. Which is why nobody who actually cares about racing gives a shit about the unlock or upgrade system.
Or Farm Motorsport 😅
@keyser456 every racing game ever has been that way. Go play GTA
No race cars in career mode in a game with Motorsport in it’s title is unforgivable! They should have called it Forza Horizon Racetrack Edition. I will be skipping this game and will not be buying an Xbox Series X either. Hopefully LeMans Ultimate will release on PS5 sooner than later.
Having done the builders cup; usually you have two fuel options per estimated laps on fuel, I always opted on most fuel but if the race was 6 laps i never went for 7 laps on fuel and i never ran out of fuel.
Hey all just saying that you can turn off the third person camera shake
You using GT7 style music just feels wrong 😂
It's become a habit on this channel. Besides, nobody does racing music like the Japanese.
It’s silly thing but the fact the soft, medium and hard aren’t color coded the same as F1 really bothers me.
Multiplayer layout is horrible. I rage quit after not being able to find populated races. Mp feels dead
👌👌👌👌
PI level?? Power level
But... do you have the perfect fov for triples?.. They support triples, but it feels like a wrapped tortilla..
extra tip : If you have bootleg windows where you can't update, you can't play the game cause it needs Xbox Gaming Services to operate and that needs a freshly updated windows..... learned that the hard way🤷♂
I play with everything off. No TCS no ABS no assisted steering, braking no rewind. I keep the steering to normal although simulation is more accurate. I don't use track markers or drive line.
Turning off traction control is why your experience with the mustang was uncontrollable. I started with it and left it on and I dominated.
Agreed. I did the same. The Mustang was awesome in the 1st cup with traction control on.
Этот видеообзор просто имба, жаль перевод не очень :(
wow the sounds in this game are awful.
