Irregardless to how M.J. got sick, ( he himself said the pizza did not sit well), to play at this high level when you feel like crap in a big way, is a strong testimony to Michael's strong drive to win and be great. If you have ever tried to play sick, you can appreciate this, most would have been on the bench.
Tremendous desire to play and win!!
#2 in my book, 11 beats 6.
Irregardless is not a word
He was hungover, not the flu
@@Nyjeezy Food poisoning. Definitely not the flu. People are dumb about flu. If he really had the flu, he'd have a fever of 101 and could barely walk. Willpower has nothing to do with it. But many people who get food poisoning call it the "stomach flu." It's not.
The word is regardless... Bill Russell played when the league had 8 teams. Imagine if Jordan competed against only 7 other teams, year after year for 10 straight years.
Good old conspiracy bill back in action, I love it
Jordan's trainer confirmed it was food poisoning from pizza.
Yes, Jordan's trainer. A completely unbiased and reliable source...
It was always by far the most likely explanation, as we all talked about during my medical training. People frequently call food poisoning the "stomach flu." But influenza is a powerful viral infection with a high fever. No amount of willpower or conditioning allows you to push through a high fever (typically >101F). Outside chance of alcohol poisoning, but that's pretty stupid. Jordan was so competitive he was sociopathic about it, playing all kinds of little games to get an edge, like the famous gift to Barkley. Does anybody really think he'd get super loaded the night before a finals game? It's ridiculous.
Food poisoning is worse. I had it a few times in my life. I wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy.
Just got food poisoning and it is the worse feeling ever
Lee harv oswald 😂😂😂😂
On what planet does one *choose* to go to an even higher elevation to stay? It's like going to Denver and saying, "Mile High isn't enough, let's go for Two Mile High!" How are all the hotels sold out and the Bulls didn't already have something booked?
It doesnt really matter why he was sick, i just know you can see it on his face that hes really not feeling well
Sam Smith, the author of the Jodan rules books said the same thing. It was altitude sickness.
Altitude sickness? Come on man.
Lol
You ever had it?
Was food poisoning (he said it himself). But no matter. 6 and 0. The best to ever do it. Some may have had 11 rings but in an era where there were only 8 teams and no free agency and that player inherited 2 other hall of famers (Havilcek and Cousey) to win with. Jordan did the most with less (only Scottie Pippen was a true all star with him) and went undefeated in the Finals without a game 7 ever. Along with several individual accolades in the same years together, he did way more in less time with much less talent. Love Russell, but degree of difficulty matters.
Mike was losing because he was surrounded with a bunch of bums. When Mike left, Scott had his chance to prove himself, but he fell on his big mouth. Mike comes back and wins another 3 in a row. Scott is hurting and mad at himself.
That's not entirely true, Mike came back in the middle of the 95 season and the Bulls didn't win.
Which one was the bum? Steve Kerr, sniper for his time. Paxon, sniper. Pippen, arguably did more for bulls than Jordan. ( name 1 championships Jordan carried the team defensively.) Grant? Possibly average. The rest below. But paired with Pippen and Jordan, the bulls system was unstoppable, at the time. But Jordan actually like Curry , Pippen like Klay. Jordan can’t guard the shifty point guards like Pippen barely could when they really started getting shifty. Poor coaching freedom saved them. Had more coaches allowed crossovers and freedom like only 1 player per team got back then, could’ve been interesting
@@TchakaJumaan He was obviously talking about Jordan in the 80s, when he was surrounded by a bunch of role players. Kerr was a great shooter, but just averaged a few points off the bench. Paxson was a beast, mainly in 1991. Grant was a great post and interior defender, also gave you 10+ points efficiently. Jordan guarded PGs like Isiah Thomas really well, same with Strickland,Kevin Johnson,Penny Hardway and Tim Hardaway.
The hangover game?
lol shit that would still be impressive af
Sounds like getting sick so i believe he was def sick
of course he was sick- about 2-3 hours after eating the pizza. His mother lied too? She saw him at 3-4am with the trainer.
Rather it was flu food or alcohol lol being that sick on the road against a good team with that hostile crowd and to be down as many as 16 points and come back and win !!!! That says it right there no one else could’ve did what he did
It’s altitude. No way it’s Pizza, MJ and his trainer have an interest in doing this story
1️⃣4️⃣❤️🕵️
Do people think Jordan got drunk in Utah? Where!?
Jordan says it was "food poisoning" and Kerr said "altitude sickness" which means someone is clearly LYING
Or it could have been A COMBINATION OF BOTH
Kerr obviously is. Maybe MJ too but Kerr it’s no question.
Kerr did not say it was altitude sickness. He said MJ might have gotten the flu because of the altitude. A bit more comprehension please.
Trainer said it was pizza
Wow, you failed comprehension
Lebron. stretcher. ambulance. EMT AT&T Doctor Nurse. Bring everybody and I aint playing today lol
Why phill looking at his cake
Altitude..?
What is this channel? Lol
It is for the idiots who must be paranoid, jealous, or nothing to do because the Bucks weren't very good back then. It was around 10pm and the only place to get food was to order pizza. WTH. Are you really from Green Bay? I am not far away from there but I did love the Bulls during those years. Kareem -until MJ hit the court but followed some of the Mi and Wi college teams.
Food poison ?!
I heard a story that MJ was the only one to eat a pizza that was delivered ... Hmmm maybe some italian mobster wanted to hedge his bet against the bulls
LeBron would never get food poisoning cuz he jus better, stronger an invulnerable
@@___Anakin.Skywalker Are you sure you're not missing the whole point?
@@___Anakin.Skywalker That must be why he has to "load manage" so much. It's a load of somethin', that's for sure.
@@___Anakin.Skywalker Oh my God you're in every Jordan video bringing up LeSweep. That's a bit gey. Do you touch yourself while typing your defense of LeSweep? Good Lord! Do you want to be a trans so LeSweep could poke his pecker up your butt? Jesus H. Christ. 😨
Why would they call it the flu game if it was food poisoning? Also, if it was the flu, why did they let him play? He could've gotten a bunch of people sick.
It's the nba finals...who gives af.... this is a time when everyone went to work with the flu...before everyone became a bunch of sissies
Simple. Because the press are a) dumbasses and b) more interested in narrative than reality.
so he would have lost to Denver in the Finals 😅
Ok…
he was drunk. next!
in UTAH???????
Where is he getting booze in Utah?
it was 8 in the evening.... dumb
