I got the same type of hair as you and Ik the pictures where it looks like u washed it recently you can see frizz at the top, and you also have a lot of volume for “straight hair”, and it’s probably because you have wavy hair that you don’t treat right. I figured out I have wavy hair not too long ago too. I recommend r/curlyhair and r/wavyhair to learn routines so your hair can show it’s true texture.

I just trimmed the sideburn that connects to my beard and the sides are still too short to tuck everything behind my ear its just there looking all messy its temption to trim it all but I seen someone elses hair how I want it.
