Hello This video was useful. But my issue is still not arrested. Needed your guidance specifically to my issue. I have the following devices. TV: Sony Bravia R35 B PS: 3 version 4.86 Receiver: Marantz SR6013 Now when I play games on it, the screen blanks out frequently every 3 seconds and comes back ON automatically. How do I fix this issue. Please do share your thoughts. Thanks
I have a ps5 and Bose lifestyle 650.. which one is the best way to connect 1. Ps5 out to TV hdmi input, TV HDMI ARC to Bose ARC 2. PS5 out to Bose HDMI input and Bose Arc to Tv HDMI Arc Please help me
I have a cable box as well. I need to have audio going from the cable box and my PS4 to my receiver. My TV has only one HDMI and it’s not ARC. It does have an optical cable receptacle. The receiver HAS 4 HDMI connections.
Agreed... rocksmith for my ps4 pro suggests I use HDMI out for video, but optical out for sound otherwise there's a delay in the sound. Currently I have the optical out to a soundbar.
Good day... I am in need of your assistance... I have the first PS4 which does not seem to support proper surround sound via HDMI(but via Optical)with my receiver... I also, have never seen the 5.1 & 7.1 HDMI select option I saw in this video... What I would like from you, is for you to test the 'quality' of the surround you're getting via HDMI & tell me - please... (because the PS5 does not have an optical output & it has me worried) If you agree, I'll tell you how to do the(simple)test - thanks...
Hi dude. can you help me? i have an old receiver. so i'm not able to use a HDMI cable for both parts, i can plug the HDMI in the PS4 and TV, but now how do i connect my PS4 to my Amplifier/speakers. I have an Optical cable. I've plugged that into the PS4 and the Amp, but i have NO idea what channel to select to get the sound out of the speakers, or even if that will work! im STUCK!
Hi I have a ps4 pro and the Arcam avr 380 receiver.I have connected the PlayStation in to the Game input and connected the tv arc with the Avr Arc output. All i get is a purple black or sometime flickering screen and sound. When i start to play a Blu-ray 1080p disc or watching Netflix then the picture appears.I can watch movies and netflix but as i come out the movie the screen is black or..... I have tried to set the PlayStation in to a 1.4 HDCP safe mode but doesn’t help. 🤯🤯
How do you hook up a PS4 to a Dish Network I'm having problems with my network it won't let me change channels when my grandson's playing the PlayStation then I can't change channels on my TV and I have to hit the red button and reset it every time I want to change channels please help
I used to get video and audio from my PS4 to my Yamaha YSP4000 Soundbar and picture on the tv. It suddenly stopped working, I tried a friends PS4 and his HDMI cables but nothing. Cable works just fine through HDMI on both HDMI inputs but the PS4 doesnt work on either. I don't know if a PS4 update made this more difficult or if my soundbar is just too outdated now or what. I've also reset the soundbar to factory settings and nothing. no picture no audio.
Hello! I know this is an slightly older video, but I'm wondering if someone can help me. I have connected my PS4 to my Denon AVR-1312 and I can't get the sound to come through. I have my PS4 connected via HDMI to the receiver. The video is appearing on the TV just fine, but there's no sound. What should I do?
@@ifailatblackops1 i ended up using pcm and I have my ps5 connected to the tv arc1 and then my Sony STR-DH590 receiver to hdmi port 2,so anytime I turn on my ps5 my TV and my receiver will turn on automatically and the sound will still be available with no problems, at least with this set-up you will have HDR and 4k ultra ect with 60 or 120 htz available depending on the tv you use.
Bruhh , if you have an avr , why are you not connecting all your media to the avr so that you can just have a single hdmi run to your TV and then switch between them via the avr, That is why avr have multiple hdmi inputs and generally less output
I have a question so let's say u use this for ps4 and u use another one for TV. How does it know which hdmi its gonna arc out of the 5. Does it take the one that doesn't have video signal in?
If I connect my PS4 to my receiver like this, what if I don’t want to use the surround sound and only wish to use the speakers from the TV? Will I still be able to hear sound from my TV speakers without having to power in the receiver?
So for Netflix on TV For netflix the Digital Output Audio format can be change to Dolby Digital which is really amazing but for PS4 the Digital Output Audio format setting is locked at PCM so the only thing I could change in my Samsung Tv when connected to my ps4 is the HDMI input audio format Setting 1. PCM Setting 2. Bitstream but on the ps4 itself there's 3 options Linear PCM Bitstream Dolby Bitstream DTS Can someone help me pls my Tv is SAMSUNG Q65 4k receiver STRDN1080

Btw: I wondering because I really wanna get enough power to my dt770's when playing, their soo low when just connected to the controller (:

If you don't want surround sound for your PS4, you can just connect the PS4 directly to the TV.
So for Netflix on TV

but for PS4 the Digital Output Audio format setting is locked at PCM
so the only thing I could change in my Samsung Tv when connected to my ps4 is the HDMI input audio format

Linear PCM

Did you find a solution to your issue
Nalu Akiona no
To HDMI
My tv, my receiver, and my PS3 ALL used to work together...the TV also played sound. The way I wanted it to.
Something happened, the optic plug was unplugged and I plugged it back in. NOW the TV does not play sound.
This is how I have it connected -
Optic cable goes from receiver to PS3
HDMI goes from PS3 to TV.
The sound works through stereo but NOT TV.
Anyone?
