I remember enjoying this game, even though I did so much grinding I just ran through all the bosses. I did the same in World of Final Fantasy too now that I think about it...
The remake looks really smooth,great gameplay and all but they messed up some cutscenes and the soundtrack too,I like the original it is so much better!
I think the main idea of the FF7R is to take this original timeline in conflict with the new one. So players had to play or replay this one to understand the differences with what will happen in Rebirth and learn the consequences

i did the same thing on my first playthrough of reunion lol. i just started another playthrough on hard this time.
I like how Shinra knows that sephiroth will be evil so the made training vr mission to learn how defeat sephiroth
