I like how the finishers to these battles get more brutal as they go on. Giganto: Sonic grins briefly before speeding through Giganto's chest. It even shows a bit of... blood? coming from Giganto's back. Giganto roars before blowing up, leaving nothing behind. Wyvern: Wyvern screams at Sonic before flying into the air. Sonic follows him and Wyvern charges at Sonic. This didn't stop Sonic, but it stopped Wyvern, because Sonic locked Wyvern in a vertical position using both of his hands. Wyvern let's out all of his energy to roar at Sonic who is still locking him in that position. Sonic pushes Wyvern into the air, before he uses all of his rockets, Sonic leads the rockets to Wyvern, but Wyvern stops Sonic by keeping him stuck between his teeth, Sonic starts to lift up his teeth before breaking his jaw. Sonic leads the rockets into Wyvern mouth and it bloats his entire body, which then lead to him blowing up like a destructive balloon. Knight: Knight tries to end Sonic by extending his sword, he swings it at Sonic but Sonic caught it, Knight lifts up the sword and flies into the air, he descends back to the ground and spins around with the sword, he swings the sword to the side. This however didn't kill Sonic, he stopped the sword, he uses all of his force to push Knight's sword back, he kicks the sword at Knight. Sonic charges to Knight and flies around him for a second before punching him directly into the teeth, Knight's sword flies out of his own grasp. Then, Sonic Cyloops the sword which lead to Sonic being able to use it, Sonic swings the sword around before charging it at Knight, Knight tries to stop Sonic, but it wasn't enough, Sonic has already done it. Sonic had sliced Knight in half like a cake, Knight then explodes, leaving nothing behind like the other two. Supreme: (I'll try to make it as detailed as possible) Sonic has won against Supreme, Supreme notices this and feels defeated, he falls onto his knees and bends down, leaving him in a grieving position. The End: Sonic uses all of his might to charge through The End, leaving a hole. It wasn't enough though. Sage all of HER power this time to charge through The End, which lead to The End, Sage and Supreme exploding, leaving not a single spec of dust behind.

This game was my childhood. It's so nostalgic to see it 10 years after the release. I used to play Sonic Frontiers back in 2023 and rewatching some videos about it makes me cry every time
This was one interesting game as for the bosses rating, in my opinion Giganto: 8/10 mainly as the first titan he really put a mark on me as how we will expect the other titans fights to me Wyvern: 9/10 The fact u chase this thing around the entire island is awesome. The way you need to counter its claw swipe to attack it is a neat mechanic, and the Lazer rings + the double swipe is an amphed up second phase Knight 10/10 the chase where the shield homes on in is insane and fight itself is cool as fuck because not only it has a mobility advantage but the gimmick to knock the shield back at it is insane. Supreme/the end: 8/10 I understand it's based of a hunter but I think it could have been improved if it were to use that rifle of its to good use and it's not the crystals used for the bullet hell and the end Is a cenamatic boss that really breaks my heart that eggman's daughter sacrifices herself to save the world. Overall 10/10 game, in my opinion. Edit: I just found out that u play as sage in Supreme and do an arcade alien invaders style and blast at the moon the end took form of. But I would like to be supersonic and LITERALY FLY AT THAT THING AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF IT instead. Heck, have it shoot projectiles at sonic and try to blast him with lazers, meteors, etc. My rating for the end is 4/10 because it's JUST ALIEN INVADERS IN A SONIC GAME.
I absolutely adored the chase scene like parts when we first arrived to the new islands, having no way to fight back and the only option being to run away was such a thrill for me

Man, all the themes in each boss fight was so awesome and badass. They really went all out on this game. So thank you Sega for making such a great Sonic game!
This game is amazing and is now one of my favorite Sonic games, possibly on its way to being one of my favorite games of all time, each boss was great, I loved how giganto was introduced and how the game basically shows you how fighting these guys without super Sonic is a losing battle. And the story easily one of the best in the franchise in years, but what do you expect when Ian Flynn is the writer for something about sonic
These bosses were all awesome (except the end) and I really loved how hard they went with them. I really do wish these were harder though, if you have max rings before the fight this is a cake walk. Like if each time they hit you you lost a chunk of rings or something, would make them still feel threatening instead of just delaying the inevitable
My first impression seeing all the combat and whatnot was "This is some mythical Dragon Ball folklore-type shit goin' on here" but as the bosses went on my jaw literally went through the ground in awe like seriously this is a fever dream in terms of how fire it is 🔥🔥🔥
Tbh I found the first 3 Bosses to be awesome and a thrill to see (Super Sonic was a little shock but was added in very well. On top of that the osts we got, they were great.) Yet the Final boss was a let down in some ways. And Apparently there could be a true final boss on a higher difficultly. But The Plot Twist damn... That was impactful and it does make the final boss have an emotional impact on all the characters in game and honestly imo is a big change for the series going on ahead. If there is a Hidden Boss and it has some gameplay, I want to see it (for me: it's to see if it can be a really good boss fight like the first 3) I might get the game now that I have seen the bosses But I'll wait to hear opinions from other people both online and in person about it.
@@berksusezen837 still a enjoyable boss but not the kind of final boss you would expect sonic (it felt more like a Kirby final boss being defeated with a mechanic instead of a harder fight like the post game final bosses)
Think about this: sonic usually only busts out super sonic when he has to fight something really strong (i.e. perfect chaos, final hazard, any of egg-mans super robots, etc.) and he usually can take out egg-mans massive bots with no super mode, but the titans are so strong, they each could be considered final boss material to sonic.
During the entire game, the visuals were so absolutely stunning, i never paid attention to the story. The ONLY thing i picked up is that robotnik cannot be trusted with kids.
No matter my thoughts once I finally play this game, I’ll always love the sheer, unadulterated SCALE of this game. Also it looks like you’re on the switch version? I plan on getting that one and I’m pleased to see it runs alright!
I find that the best ways to fight the bosses especially on a level 1 run is to use time stopping attacks like homing shot, loop kick, wild rush, e.c.t the attacks that slow down everything but sonic so you can output heavy damage with minimal dodging required. Also every boss has at least one attack that will provide a grand slam counter command and it will be the heaviest damage dealer for the fight so trigger it as soon as you can to speed up the fight. Also if you fail the ending qte's for whatever reason you need to deal a small bit of damage to try again.
Wyvern is my favorite and is one of the most memorable and outlandishly epic bosses I’ve ever played period. (Not saying the other Titans are bad, of course.) The design is fantastic, the way it snakes around in the air and shrieks out of its four jaws, after its first appearance in stays visible on the island, meaning its shadow will sometimes pass over an area, (startled me the first time I saw it,) Break Through It All is my personal favorite of the boss themes, and the entire fight is spent speeding across the massive island that you just spent the past few hours traversing through. If these fights are the president to be set for future fights, then I look forward to the next game even more than I did before.
Thing that's so sick about this is that this is your average action loving kid's fantasy. Turn Super Sonic and you're invincible while grabbing a gigantic, evil robot Wyvern by the tail and slamming it into a mountain. Catching with your bear hands and lifting up an enormous sword literally 100 times your size and striking it down on a giant shield-throwing, scarred, wheeling Knight machine. Getting SLAPPED by Gigantic to get sent back several yards and flying back still ready to finish it off. Getting chucked by Supreme and pushing yourself to fly faster and faster like you're about to shout Kaioken to BORE through a cosmic demon. It's so much of what we imagined as kids and have seen in previous Sonic games dialed to 11. All of this is simply incredible. Hype Hype Hype.
I got spine chills from Giganto alone, a shiver of cold all through my spine, my arms, my head, my jaw, its.....really a hell of a feeling ive not felt in years and years
I find it funny that the three first titans you face look like actually monsters and then the last one is basically a alien gundam mech with a rail gun. So that just makes the Gundam mechs just as strong as Super Sonic.
Oh wow! Every single Titan feels like a real final boss and The End? I don’t even know where to begin with that. But the fact that the true final boss is a shoutout to Ikaruga of all things is just the cherry on top! For all we know that Moon could be a Great Old One! And Mixing Sonic’s high speed with the style of SOTC mixes together like chocolate and peanut butter!
now, this is what i call an epic battles, and curious fact, is the only game where we see super sonic in his super form so many times in boss battles. and taking in another hand, i dint expect that eggman should have a daughter, that really is so cute of him and her.
and another fact, infinite says that the power of sonic gets stronger whit the pass of the time, so basically, this bosses are the most strongest enemies that he faced in his adventures.
You know what's funny about Supreme? Although his wings don't show up in the battle itself, they probably still make the biggest difference in the fight out of every Titan energy cell. Giganto's lasers give him one extra projectile and prevent you from going behind him, which you never really need to do anyway. Wyvern's sonic waves make the fight look way more chaotic but I don't know if it's even possible to get hit by them. Knight just straight up never uses his laser blast.
Saw someone else do this so I thought I might as well Giganto: 9/10 This boss is really good, I feel like his attacks should have been a bit easier to avoid, seeing as he's the first boss. Wyvern: 8/10 This fights whole mechanic is really good but it felt a bit slow for me, mainly because I'd have to fall back for it to shoot it's missiles. Also giganto just set the bar so high Knight: 10/10 This fight was so fun I can't tell you. It's mechanics work so perfectly, and it was the only boss to kill me with 400 rings. Supreme: 5/10 This is definitely the easiest boss. And he's pretty boring at that, maybe I just had high hopes because of the buildup, I mean, holy shit sage why do you need 50 memory tokens?? It's cutscenes were really promising but the fight was bad The end: 7.5/10 Despite how some people disliked it, it was fun and challenging for me, that's the main thing I want in a boss
I've already know that Eggman is really not that bad, and it's very emotional to FINALLY see his humanity.

@@betsareoff6821 You might be right.

Yeah bro the early 2020s was so lit I wish we could go back
This was one interesting game as for the bosses rating, in my opinion
Giganto: 8/10 mainly as the first titan he really put a mark on me as how we will expect the other titans fights to me
Wyvern: 9/10 The fact u chase this thing around the entire island is awesome. The way you need to counter its claw swipe to attack it is a neat mechanic, and the Lazer rings + the double swipe is an amphed up second phase
Knight 10/10 the chase where the shield homes on in is insane and fight itself is cool as fuck because not only it has a mobility advantage but the gimmick to knock the shield back at it is insane.

The pain I felt seeing some of those quick time events drove me nuts. I landed most of mine first go when they showed up.

On top of that the osts we got, they were great.)
Yet the Final boss was a let down in some ways. And Apparently there could be a true final boss on a higher difficultly.
But The Plot Twist damn... That was impactful and it does make the final boss have an emotional impact on all the characters in game and honestly imo is a big change for the series going on ahead.
If there is a Hidden Boss and it has some gameplay, I want to see it (for me: it's to see if it can be a really good boss fight like the first 3)

It's almost crazy that you can hear how much the VAs have grown-their voices are so much deeper than what I remember.
You may be badass, but you’ll never be “Super Sonic unleashing DMC style combos on lovecraftian monsters while metalcore music plays” badass

To be honest, I was emotional at the true final boss when Sage sacrificed herself to destroy The End. And also the music
My childhood nostalgia and my teenage nostalgia combined into one singular moment?? Never expected to hear Kellin Quinn, but its great
I find that the best ways to fight the bosses especially on a level 1 run is to use time stopping attacks like homing shot, loop kick, wild rush, e.c.t the attacks that slow down everything but sonic so you can output heavy damage with minimal dodging required.
