EASY - How to change brake pads on a Porsche Panamera (Brembos) Similar method for any Porsche

  • Today, i am showing you on how to maintain and change your own brake pads on the Porsche Panamera 1st gen but it is basically the same thing throughout all the porsche's with the brembo calipers. I really like how simple the design is , on these cars, with the two bolts design. The socket and tools needed will vary from models but it's always either a Allen , Torx , Triple Square or Hex (on older models such as porsche 996). Seems like newer models prefer Triple Square setup to prevent people from doing DIY's. I recommend wrapping the calipers around rags to not scratch them.

    Is this the same for the S Hybrid?

      very similar yes but the S hybrid will maybe have slightly difference calipers therefore different bolts.

    "how to not change brake pads" should be the title... damn what a wack job with the screwdriver and on the springs... not needed at all.
