Love this Henry. I can see from the video that you have a Tascam recorder. - so do I. Have even managed to record my band and produce a CD using this great machine. Do you like using it?

I only use it for live recording or if I'm recording with others. When I do my solo projects I do all my recording directly in my DAW. It's less trouble and also I like the TASCAM but it's hard to do any effecting mixing in that small window so I'll transfer the stems over to my DAW and work from there. But it's an EXCELLENT recording device.

Yes, like you I just use it for recording and then do my mixing etc in a DAW. Have just done two recordings today - looking forward to mixing them.

Hi Henry, nice cover, strong and pretty voice. Contratulations. I need help with my BIAB. I use it just to created blues backing tracks (very simples) to practice and learn (ahahahah) blues. I am 72 and I am a drummer trying to learn the guitar, for a language that is not my natural languague (I am Brazilian). But I love blues. I purchased the BIAB just for this purpose. I was doing OK with just the basics but I hit some buttom (which I do not remember which) and now my main screen changed. How do I go back to my original screen. I tried to reset and the screen did not changed (remained the same). Is there anything (simple) that I can do? I am in a screen that is not too different from the original but now I cannot mute the instruments I dont use. Usually I only use the drums and the bass. Thank you very much Cheers

Hi …. You might want to check out Henry’s recent video about BIAB Songs (Song Picker). I recall seeing quite a few blues backing tracks already created in there.

Hello sir. May I ask a question? I'm using real tracks in a song, but I want to write my own bass line in the notation editor. The trouble is, when I delete the notes and add my own, I still hear the original bass line during playback instead of what I wrote. I tried choosing a midi electric bass instrument for the bass line thinking the real track was taking over but that didn't work either. I even tried creating an extra track and naming it bass 2, but when I choose an instrument to assign there is no bass guitar listed to pick like there was in the original bass track pick list. Any ideas? Thanks.

To be honest I'm not a fan of trying to write a lot of MIDI stuff. I find it extremely inconsistent. I'd rather play the patch or creatively use the realtrack that it gives me. But in all fairness I can't answer your question. I would suggest that you make sure that none of the tracks you're using are not frozen.
