      Hi again Henry. I just spent about an hour in the Song Picker and I was amazed at what was in there. In addition to all the song files there are tons of practice tracks that will help if you are learning to play an instrument. Thanks again.

    Thanks Henry! I hope BIAB gives you some kind of discount when you purchase their upgrades for the good work you do to demonstrate how to get the most out of this resource. I am sure I am not alone in saying BIAB has a ton of great features, However these are hidden deeply in complex paths and places that are not easy to find or even know they exist. And the GUI never seems to appear any easier as it progresses through its upgrades. I stopped buying upgrades back around 2020 for this reason.
    But, you inspire me to dig in as you provide visual guidance that helps me to find these nuggets out there! Thanks! And cheers to all the good work you are doing for BIAB!

      You're welcome. Since you're on 202 the decision for me to upgrade is always in my answer the question is it worth it. Not sure if you saw this video but I went through all the things I thought were noteworthy from 2021 to now and maybe it'll help in your decision. ruclips.net/video/CMAXUoop23A/видео.html

      @@henryclarke5407 If someone were purchasing BIAB for the first time, I would say it is a worthy investment. As you will get a lot of content. More than enough to completely understand and use. However, upgrading is something, personally, I am very reluctant to do again. The Real Tracks are a nice feature. However, much of it is not usable for me. The genres don't reflect my interpretations. Again that is a personal taste thing more than a BIAB thing. BIAB did inspire me to learn additional instruments. In addition, I sought software from SWAM to use on my MIDI keyboard for lifelike strings and horns. Now I am able to produce music from start to finish from my head and hands! Fellow seniors, nothing is impossible if you are committed to achieving your musical goals!

    Nice modern pop rock sound. Great guitar work and simple but very effective base line. 4:04

    Once again, I attended a class at Henry C. University, where I learned new stuff about a program that I've owned for years.

    I'm on a Mac with the Ultra 2024 pak, but couldn't find "Songs and Lessons" but I noticed in your string that you had "Artist Performance Sets", so I used that. I ended up deleting and redownloaded all of my BIAB stuff, as I was having some issues with some features of BIAB since transfering all of my files from my intel imac to my silicone MacMini M2 pro. Now I see the "Songs and Lessions" folder.

    😊 Thanks Henry ! So true what you're saying! As a composer and songwriter, I've learned through the years to recognize and respect all of the great artists and music that have inspired me in my creation, too many to name here, in all genres and styles, from the classics to the modern people.
    Beethoven, Debussy, on to Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, right up to Elton John, the Beatles, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and do many others that I consider as my teachers and mentors.
    Yes, I go along with you in saying that one of the best ways to get inspiration is to listen to what other creators have had to express.
    It's like having all of them in a bull session and just sharing ideas.
    So yeah, thanks again for this precious piece of advice.

      Thanks for watching. I see this as the same as listening to radio but you also get the advantage of seeing how a song was put together,

    •  Месяц назад

      @@henryclarke5407 I agree, and one more thing is to be curious about what others, less known and less heard on the radio can offer. I'm on many Facebook groups that share and listen to new creations.
      There are tons of very good new stuff out there and on RUclips to get inspired by. For sure, I don't listen to everything but every day I like to take a peek of what's new.
      I'm often very pleasantly surprised.

    Hi, I've got chords and a lyrical melody. How can this help me to make a matching instrumental?

    • @henryclarke5407
      @henryclarke5407  Месяц назад +1

      If I have chords and a melody I would demo those chords against a style instead of a song to see what I can come up with.

    Hi Henry, It would be great if you could do a tutorial on using Spitfire Audio's BBC Orchestra - Discovery is the free version with BIAB. I've dabbled with it a bit and find it's impressive, but would love to see what you could do with it.

    • @henryclarke5407

      Hi. I checked it out since I had not heard of it before and decided to pass. I just don't have the cycles to get into a lot of programming and playing around with VST's. I actually play some arrangements live through my M-Audio and my Cakewalk/Bandlab vsts sometimes when I do old soul. It's not on par with an orchestra but it's not too bad. Thanks for bringing it to my attention but I have to pass on this one.

    But do you have the rights to the songs you create using this? Are there copy rights problems we need to think about?

    • @songwriterdermotmcmahon4522
      @songwriterdermotmcmahon4522 Месяц назад +1

      Yes you do retain the rights..so long as they are your own creations and not covers of other songs.
