Lyrics:
Love me baby, love me when I'm down
I said love me baby, love me when I'm down
Yeah you gotta love me baby
'cos there's no use hanging around
I said put your arms around me like a sunbeam round the sun
I said put your arms around me like a sunbeam round the sun
Yeah, you gotta love me woman
'cos my life has just begun
Love me baby, love me when I'm down
Oh, love, love me baby, love me when I'm down
Yeah you gotta love me baby
'cos there's no use hanging around
Put your arms around me like a sunbeam round the sun
I said, put your arms around me like a sunbeam round the sun
You gotta love me woman
'cos my life has just begun
Love me baby, love me when I'm down
Oh, love, love, love me baby, love me when I'm down
You gotta love me baby
'cos there's no use hanging around, around, around, yeah
Love me baby, love me when I'm down

R.I.P. Rick and Alan, we miss you. Thanks for the memories.
I've been listening to Quo since the early 70s. They are a great team - Rossi, Parfitt, Lancaster and Coghlan. RIP Alan and Rick.
THIS was my teenage music - how cool is that!!!
This is the nuts, bloody brilliant, glad they got to do this before Rick passed away. Frantic Four forever , Quo at its very best 🤟🏻
Yes you are so right my friend !!! So sad Rick passed away !!! RIP "Mr Rythm" :-(
@@MrStrat01 And now we say bye to Alan Lancaster R.I.P.
@@mark-wh2qc Yes, very sad news :-(
@@MrStrat01 !!!!
Absolutely go the quo.
Almost had me in tears, takes me back to the famous Glasgow Apollo where the live album was recorded. Brilliant memories
Did have me in tears.
R.I.P. Mr Parfitt, you awesome guitarist... Status Quo doesn't exist without you.
ALAN CHARLES LANCASTER otherwise known as NUFF, has passed away in Sydney, his home for 45 years.
The founding member and the backbone of STATUS QUO had been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis for many years.
Alan battled on bravely, performing at QUO's Reunion gigs in 2013 and 2014.
Even though he had MS, Alan's performance and his vocals were the strongest of the three.
My favourite member of QUO is Alan Lancaster.
I had the pleasure of having a beer and a smoke with Alan at a Sydney pub gig, in Five Dock, when he had The Lancaster Bombers and The Lancaster/Brewster Bands in the late 80's.
We had a longer chat at The Lewisham Hotel as well.
These were dirty, grungy hotels, though this didn't phase the great man of the people.
Alan was the most beautifil man, very humble, down to earth and a great guy to talk with and have a laugh.
Vale Alan ( Nuff ) Lancaster
RIP mate, you were one of the greatest Rockers of all time.
Couldn’t agree more, while not wanting to belittle the considerable, and upfront, talents of Rossi and Parfitt, we have to remember that Alan and John were the engine room of the Quo.
RIP Rick and Alan, you won’t be forgotten.
🤟
I remember when my brother first brought home the Pile driver album and I heard status Quo for the first time and it changed my life. I'm very sad to hear of the passing of Alan, but he brought so much joy to people that's how he should be remembered. Brill
@@RobBlackhair I saw them 5 times in 1972, exactly 50 years ago at The Croydon Greyhound Pub/Music Venue with 3,000 others, all standing and they played 7 Encores with a Medley of 5 songs as just one of their encores. It was near where they were all from which is the borders of South East London and Surrey.
They were "paying their dues," they said...
This is a band that haven got there same class music not even yesterday or in feature they are the best,,,,,
The R E A L Quo !!
I was at Hammersmith 1st day 2013
RIP Rick & Alan
Lot of respect from Greece
They were my youth. I’m so glad they played together before it was too late. They were the best
There was always only ever one Quo...
Rossi, Parfitt,Lancaster and coghlin
Simple 🤘🤘
Coghlan...❤️🙏
Amen to that
ROY LYNES
And Rick seemed to have their stuff together at all times....a legend
I'm so glad they managed to reunite before Rick's untimely passing. Great to see the original and best Status Quo lineup in action, Quo-o-o-o, Quo-o-o-o-o, Quo-o-o-o-o.
real fan at last
Not the original. Rick wasn't in the original band. But definitely the best lineup.
@@swinetrek Yes but wasn't the original band called The Spectres and then The Traffic Jam?
Rick was certainly in the original lineup of The Status Quo.
The number one rock and roll band in the land
The One and Only Status Quo....FOR EVER.............
Qué in one best ever
They know how to do itt❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Im a lead guitarist but i could listen to Ricks boogie rhythm all day,,,man to solo over that ,,
RIP Alan , thank you for the music
Nothing will beat the frantic four...... Absolutely fantastic
Nobody will get better than the best ever since I watch them nr1
Rock and Roll heaven just took another one. RIP Alan Lancaster.
Having heard this in Sydney 1976 this is still pretty bloody good
I AGREE WITH YOU THIS SONGS of is nuts quo for ever
Rick was the heart of Quo, Nuff the soul, Spud the pulse and Frame the brain!
I couldn't put it better my friend - spot on!
Glad that Alan plays his Fender Bass again
That says he s Really with it
He may never admit this but to play lead guitar infront of that back line must be a dream come true,,,they really do set the beat and rythmn up so well ,,,all Rossi has to do is give it some,,,,,a real powerstation of a back line
Rick was so relentless with those Chuck Berry chords. That made the band's sound.Awesome.
The real and only true Quo line up in my opinion

very true great 2 know u know ur stuff
In my opinion too!

Just like the QUO live record. Amazing!
Frantic Four in fire. This is how this song should be performed live. Good job Rick, Frame, Spud and Nuff.

Steamhammer did a decent version, this is great👊
This is a great cover version from Frantic Four.
I've been there fan since 1978 when I was 7 yrs old. Quo has lotta fans here in Finland.
1000 000 points super man this man....... So so so Thanks.... World nr 1....estonia
RIP Rick and Alan. Thanks for the years of fun lads.
Quo, forever number one.........
one word BRILLIANT !!!
John Coghlan at his best ! the glorious Rock of the 70's will NEVER be beaten for every genre of music.those of us who lived it knew it was a special era.
was slow, struggled to keep up some times
A unique rock band 3 top lead singer's and never to be seen again
The real status quo as it shouldn’t been all along pure class
solid rock at finest francis rossi is such a great guitarist and rick rip so badly missed,,,, never b the same without him
You got to admit it, Rossi is one hell of a guitarist!
Indubitably. The man knows how to serve the song. I'm a yank who just stumbled onto Quo about 4 months ago. This concert is my first introduction to them after only knowing about Matchstick Men. I believe I was what folks across the pond call gobsmacked :-)
@@carldavis1407 Finally, good for you!
@@ColtraneTaylor I concur...good for me, lol
@@carldavis1407 Hope by now you have checked out the album On The Level. One of the best rock albums ever made, and Rossi's lead guitar on it is awesome. Very distinctive at the same time. A fellow Yank, I discovered Quo a long time ago. Played On The Level to death.
the real the best the only Quo in my opinion just magic
Doesn't get much better than that!!!! I saw Led Zep at the Knebworth Festival in England in August 1979..... WITH John Bonham. I will never forget singing 'Stairway To Heaven' with 200'000 other people..... what a thrill!!!!!!!
As soon as it starts you can tell the difference..the sound is incredible, real quo, proper quo..
No comparison with panto quo is there? Different league.
@@shaunkelly9860 none at all...the live sound now is too digital and clean
There is not competition no keyboard shit(sorry andy).......Real raw quo the 4 amigos
Perfect blend of musicians

I could watch this tour 1000 times. Couldn't make it through the Stones Four Flicks even once. Quo...thee greatest rock 'n' roll band!
How the fuck could we have been starved of this magical chemistry for so long, imagine what they could have wrote and recorded..instead of the weak soft rock weve been served up over the last 30 years in the name of Quo.
You can only blame the ANTI-QUO whose name is Francis Rossi. He destroyed The Frantic Four.
Margarita time ended it for me
This is the real quo. Never to be seen again but immortal. Its just about the music..
Got to see them in Manchester. Great night.
anyone who,s under 35 wont remember this quo line up .. simply the best and the way quo started and were meant to be ... when they started with songs like "your in the army" the quo roots were lost ... this was hard and straight to the point ... true quo ..
l have seen them 3 times all during the 1970s..They had this hard hitting blues/boogie riff (which lessened after the two left the band) l also recall they used a separate harmonica player on stage who was used on almost all their repertoire. You couldn't see their faces due to the huge long hair each one had
amen to that.
Yep totally right
TRUE WORDS Francis only sees the $$$$$$$
So true mate. I was a diehard classic line-up fan. When they released In the ARmy now, I thought they completely lost the plot, although it was honestly downhill from Rocking all over the World. You cant beat the period from Dog of two heads to the Double Live album. In the seventies, most classic bands peaked after they released a Double Live eg. Lizzy, Nugent, Golden Earring, Aersosmith etc etc
Status Que will never be the same these big 4 some of them not with us anymore best band ever❤❤❤❤❤❤
Johnno, Slapping Tha Skins Perfectly AS Always!!!!, The Frantic 4 Quo, Nothing Can Beat IT🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
In my view it’s the fusion between all of the original Frantic Four (that very few other bands can equal) that makes these guys special when they are in full on, chugging rock mode. To play these so-called simple 12 bar songs with such accuracy requires great skill. Frame’s riffing dovetails beautifully with the incessant, driving bass and drums backline from Nuff and Spud. Without Rick’s metronomic rhythmic guitar, the songs would not be half as powerful. Brilliant stuff 🎉🎉🎉
Perfektní hudební skupina miluji jejich styl hudby. WAU
Isto sim é música com alma os meus parabéns pela excelente música maravilhosa ❤️❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘
Simply Brilliant
pictures of Matchstick men was ok but when I found a cutout Lp in a department store called Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon Ive hooked ever since. that was over 50 years ago. I would have so much loved to have seen em live. and so happy to see so many fans..they were'nt very popular in the USA midstates. I turned on so many hippies back in the day to Status Quo..Hello! Piledriver ..one of my favs Dog of Two Head..folks would ask me, who's that and I'd say remember Pictues of Matchstick men..no one believed me at first...thanks...peace and love!
I have been a fan since the late 70s. Got a ticket second hand for this gig from a guy who had bought it for row 17 but then later got a row 4 (dead centre too) ticket. Met him at the gig and after the support act he said that there was nobody next to him so I could chance it. About 5 seats were free next to him and just as Quo were about to start, four people walked in and stopped right next to me, leaving me standing there, the luckiest guy of the night! I was so expecting them to say 'oy - you're in my seat, but I guess either 'my' seat never sold, or the person never turned up! The gig was just awesome - fantastic sound quality and I was just blown away by how hard Rick worked, and how brutal he was with the strings.
I'm a fan of the since the mid 70s, but unfortunately I have never seen them live.
I couldn't agree more Frantic Four Forever. Let's Rock.
Waited bloody years for this worth it!
First song I ever saw Quo play live.... March 1974 - at the Casino in Montreux Switzerland - I went by train by myself - my parents were way cool to let their 16 year old son travel alone - I did stay at my auntie's apartment in Vevey after the concert - Last gig I saw the Frantic Four play was in March 2013 in Glasgow - again I travelled alone, this time from Southern California, where I lived back then - I am now near Melbourne - RIP Rick and Alan - Keep on rockin' Francis and John - Yours, truly "Unruly" Pierre from the band UnnRooLee

It was in your face from go. The sound these four make is not possible to replicate.
Classic love this song it's fantastic xxxx.
Rossi's riff tone is sublime. Spot on
Nobody can keep up with these 4 the best
The real Status Quo....."play the boogie"
Went to the gig in Dublin, the last on the tour and it was just epic. My first Quo concert and possibly the last, it was unforgettable. I was nearly air-guitaring just watching this.
The Wembley 13 film was the first quo concert movie I watched. I only knew a few bits and expected them to open with "Caroline". When I heard this; I was like: The Fuck?
I ended up watching the whole film, not knowing a single song (Not even Down Down or Don't Waste My Time), and freaking loved it. (Btw I'm 16 now and 13 back then.)
This band is fantastic happy happy days class xxxxxxx
The best line up of Status Quo...
The one and only real Quo..Magic! You can see on their expression and playing how much they enjoy it. They all wanted to continue this after 2014 but there was unfortunately one, that hold back..
Brilliant!!! Terrific reunion. Frantic Four forever!
Best band ever Rossi know music
Thats the real Quo, rocking.
What a great track played with all the energy we expect from the original line up, brilliant !
Ma Kelly's got to be one of their best albums. R.I.P Rick
Saw Quo many times in the early 70’s. Used to wander backstage after the gigs at the colleges and universities they played in those days to have a chat with them (yes it was that easy before the arena thing kicked off big time) They were four of the nicest guys in the business, and were genuinely grateful to get the appreciation of the fans. Great days never to be repeated. This was the REAL Quo no doubt, Francis should stop now or go out as Francis Rossi and Friends. It’s all about selling the name I suppose to shift tickets but does he really need it ?
Bloody hell, Alan may have been sick all over, but his voice was still strong as ever!
Alan was the best singer Quo had
They are the best band ever ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Saw every gig they ever played in Santa Monica always left smile on my face just fun
Diese Besetzung war für mich Status Quo 👍🏻
This drummer got rythm best band in the world
John Coghlans drumming is unbelievable in this!
Yep..he might not be the most technical drummer but the swing and the shuffle is what quo miss the most...and coghlan has got that in spades
There is NO OTHER drummer than JC - he's brill! He knows how to shuffle the beat!! YESSSSS!!
Yes and no fucking headphones
He's like a fuckin machine
he couldn't keep up at hammersmith
Ricky will always be my favroute. Xxxx
RIP Alan 💔🎸😍😢
This is the real thing. Listening to a few of QUO songs a day, keeps the doctor away.
super Song...one of my favourites🙂
my goodness......Status Quo.... what else can you say....
Top Quality Quo at their best. Rock on Alan n Rick.
RIP Rick: THE person who inspired me to play guitar, grow my hair, like music(especially rock), etc, etc. With all due respects to Rhino and Andy (take into account the hits they've either written or co written, and their superb musicianship.....), Status Quo without him, Alan Lancaster, John Coghlan and Juniors Wailing is like fish n chips without salt n vinegar, curry without spice, rhyme without reason..... Naturally, they couldn't have done it without Mr Rossi, just as naturally that he still can't do it convincingly without them, and there's no substitute.....
I mainly play guitar, but have also been privileged enough to play bass in a couple of bands, and whenever I've been involved in whatever capacity have played with the Parfitt/Lancaster ethos of thumping rhythm coupled to melodic feel. I learned so much from them, and, although I think I'm crap, even after 35+ years of attempting to learn guitar, many of my vastly more accomplished and talented peers admire my natural approach and playing style. Thanks Rick and Alan.....
I fondly remember witnessing The Frantic Four at Wembley Arena in March 2013. A spiritual experience. Without wanting to appear self righteous, it did please me that I was the only one in my immediate vicinity who knew April, Spring...... Sacrilege........!
Soapbox de-mounted.. cheers.
Aussi époustouflant que sur le live de 1976 ...
Quelle pêche naturelle avec les instruments au maxi de leur rendement et 4 POTES de toujours réunis juste pour NOUS ....FANS de toujours
Fantastic performance - a constant playlist favourite
