I don't care what anyone says about the quo, yes simple riff tunes but they absolutely rocked the world end of discussion....in 40/50 years they still filled stadiums and made what I call a show for them which they did every time...lost rick but you guys kept going...I'll leave it with Rick parfitts statement and he said, "if we can make the world a little better with rock n roll then so be it"..said this in 1991...nice one status quo, you did exactly what it said on the tin, rock n roll👍

Once at a Granada cinema in East London when I nearly fell off the balcony, and once at the old Empire Pool in Wembley. That gig was fkn amazing. The first 6 rows of seats were wrecked by all the nutters jumping around with their cardboard guitars! Two van loads of us went from South East London, fuck knows how we got home in one piece we were a bit the worse for wear to say the least, and deaf for 2 days afterwards. I'll never forget the sight of of one of the Corps of Commissionairs ( old fashioned security guards ) standing in front of the stage by a fire exit right underneath one of the huge speaker stacks with two bloody great wads of cottonwool hanging out of his ears. I don't think it was his kind of music.😨😀

This band will ALWAYS be my first ever music love! The first single I ever bought was Caroline in 1973 and the first ever rock concert I went to was Status Quo in my home town at the Brighton Centre in December 1977 as a 17-year-old. Thanks to the original band at the time, Francis, Rick, Alan and John for those great great memories and music. I bought all of their albums while I was living at home and they were my neighbour's' favourite band ... whether they liked it or not! 🤣🤣🤣

Saw them on that tour November Cardiff. Agree with everything you say, the one and only Quo. Simply one of the best rock bands this country ever produced!
