I was there for this show. Alan was clearly struggling physically, but the minute the four of them struck up together there was just a magic in the air. John Coghlan was epic. Rest in peace Alan and Rick, and thank you.
I was there that night. It was a magnificent hard rockin’ concert for the purists. Many of their early heavy blues based stuff was triumphantly paraded that night. However there were several disappointed punters because they didn’t play any of the more recent lighter style pop material. I suppose some people didn’t really realise what this tour was all about. I was a little bit dubious at first when I saw how frail Alan Lancaster looked but, when he stepped up to the mic he was all there! His bass was spot on too.
Noticed the same thing myself. People complaining that they didn't play anything post Lancaster/Coghlan. Why would they want to play stuff that was written after they left?
Same as the Hammersmith Gig Mate, there were a few of the "Christmas Quo" fans there with their blow up guitars that were somewhat disappointed when the majority around them did the whole "Head Down, No Nonsense Boogie" stuff!
Great gig..I got right up the front and suddenly I was 40 years younger..Old school Quo hard rock .I think some of the punters were disappointed because they didn't play the newer pop stuff.😂😂
Proper, heavy yet thoughtful Blues Rock from the Number One Band In The Land. Seeing the FF at Hammersmith and just watching the electricity and groove between all four was amazing, Parfitt; Back To The Stack and just hammering away. Rossi; Absolute Showman who melted away when needed. Coghlan; Powering the beat and bringing that "FF-ness"!!! Lancaster; Seemed to be following along, not a criticism, just an observation but my God! I've seen the FF LIVE!!!!
It was a fantastic gig. Proper Quo. Rossi was bang on form. Up front, balls out rock n' roll... No disco or country here... They blew the roof off the place.. Christ, I'd love to see the Frantic Four again.. But nothing last forever.. Sad, but thanks for the clip, from the way the band should be remembered... Rockin 12 bar blues..
OMG!! Some of Rossi's timing was off on the Reunion gigs. A bit sloppy as if he didn't care much. Whereas, the best singer and player was Alan Lancaster, oh man what a great Rock voice he still has at his age and the debilitating illness that he has. Lancaster is the true QUO Legend with Parfitt and Coghlan. I don't think Rossi was very keen on the Reunion, you can tell. I think Rossi is keen on Rossi.

He was weighed down on how big his balls were !! RIP

R.i.p Alan and Rick. Sorely missed....legends 🤘
The real Quo. Saw them in 1973 , 1975 and 1977 no one can Boogie like Status Quo ❤
It's hard for us to live without you Ricky Boy!......THE MIGHTY QUO!........🎶
The very best Quo lineup ever!!!!!
R.I.P Rick Parfitt. Legend.
Bimini Twist ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Sorry I have to disagree. Rick was a God.😁
The only line-up that mattered.
Brilliant energy!!. (I listen and watch this at least 20 times a day, and I don't reduce the dose at all)😊
One of those songs I adore...we miss hou Rick
Saw both reunion concerts at Manchester. Brilliant, unfortunately never to be seen again.

@@alanstrom2221 Best singer was Alan but the best player was definitely Rick Parfitt.
One of the most underrated bands of our time, over 40 years , not bad eh !
THE CLASS IS NOT WATER, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!
Mejor no se puede tocar👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👩❤️👨👏🎼🎩👏👏👏👏👏🎼🎩
Ruhe in Frieden Rick...🕯🎸🇨🇭
I miss him .rest in peace Rick
No doubt, the real STATUS QUO is far better than FRANCIS QUO. R.I.P. Rick.
Proper Quo :-)
Poor Alan r I p really struggling ❤️❤️❤️
R.I.P. Rick Parfitt
Notice how Rossi never went near Alan? I used to go see TheParty Boys in Australia with Alan on bass and some of the best OZ musicians rockin' out.
RIP Mr Alan Lancaster
mbe for Alan & John
Epic
I wonder if Francis ever gets over his ego and thinks ...fuck, Rick's gone ...
Rossi's playng is a bit sloppy, especially at the beginning, but a nice vid - thx! Happy days...
God phones the frantic four each week for advice.
Ich schreibe nix nur 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love this song ..think Rick is straining a bit here..
wowowowowowowowowo,,,,9/5/2022
I wonder why, these days, they've decided to cut Rossi's harmony from the 2nd verse!! I used to think it sounded great!!
Me too. At a guess I would say Rossi changed it. Mr Bloody Perfect!! Sorry But when Rick died I sadley became an armchair supporter. :(]
This was all about the money for Rossi.
Que dire snif!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
QUO , the way it should be. And they only did a second reunion tour because Rossi was so bad on the first one.
🐇😏🎤🎸🎶💨😷
Did they have no keyboards on this tour
no because it was the original line up from before Andrew Bown joined in 77
The original line up had Roy Lynes on keyboards
yes that is true but the FF had no keyboard player, and this tour was a reunion of the FF ! based on the 76/77 tour
The tour name was a bit of a clue..Frantic FOUR...?
Not FIVE..not SIX..not FOUR PLUS A KEYBOARD PLAYER..just FOUR.
5 with Bob Young!
Rossi gives more of a shit on this concert
