Amazing show 💪 This year it's my 50th anniversary being a Quofan. I'm 63 now and became a Quofan in 1972. Hundreds of liveshows,the change in the band,was in the beginning sometime getting used to it. I remember Rick every day,but i'm happy they kept going. And strong! Richie Malone is doing a fantastic 'job'. It's hard to replace Rick,but he's amazing good🎸🎸 And big respect to Francis,still rocking 💪 Thank you Status Quo for still Touring and keeping the sound alive! "Rain" has a great killer riff. Quo is underrated. They don't have the STATUS like for example Led Zeppelin, but Quo still rock as hell. Richie Malone and the drummer are killers too.
This is the tightest I have seen the band since Rick Passed. Richie Malone is not trying to replace Rick or be the "new Rick", he has simply stepped in to do the job his idle did because someone had to. Richie has idolised Rick as a guitarist from a very young age and Rick himself said if anything ever happened to him then Richie should fill his role in the band. Richie is not mimiking Rick, he is paying respect to the man who went from being an idol to also being a friend.

Status Quo is better than most bands that are labeled good (eg Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, U2). The music of these bands is boring, does not give a good feeling. Status Quo, on the other hand, is energetic, melodic and plays real rock music. Good thing Status Quo exists STATUS QUO: Legend. STATUS QUO: Real rock music, real rock band. STATUS QUO FOREVER.
You’re right except for Maiden , they are the breastest band ever , quo is second , They only play the same songs live that are great , but Maiden are on another level that nobody can or will surpass..
I wonder if the name 'Status Quo' will carry on after Frances has gone? Sorry to say it but I think he's just living on past glory now. As has been said, this just doesn't sound right without Rick singing it.

No brains here I can tell... Three of five has still more years than John and Alan, and they rock as tight as ever... Parfitt in his last years wasn't at his highest, honestly.
On hearing this I knew something didn't sound right and it seems that Rhino can't sing it in its original key of A so they've moved it down into the key of G for him
Good to see them going strong, but I don't like how their guitars sound these days: very scratchy and mid-focused, almost like a Wah pedal. They used to have a great, straight in your face Tele into Vox/Marshall sound...

I totally disagree I think they have just evolved and changed and I think think they are great. I particularly like Rhino and think he is a great bass player and I like his singing

Dropped into the Key of G it sounds like a pub band playing it, Rhino not up to singing it im afraid.
It doesn't sound as thick as if it were played in G tuning like Ricky did
