Doom 2016 and Eternal have some top notch Optimization!
They do. They are the type of games I know for a fact I will be going back to every now and than for a random playthrough.
Great stuff….I love seeing these 8k showcases.
nice video i like it !!have fun
Weird, my MSi 7900XTX usually runs at 3000Mhz with undervolt.
Did you limit the Max clock speeds?
How does a game that look so good run so well... I still can't get over it and maybe it's me but it looks as good as most current gen games and runs far better. To my eyes at least, I can't get enough of it or Eternal and we are getting some insane releases at last with ER DLC, Dark Ages and we know LoP DLC is also cooking. Just when I was about to go back to my retro games lol
I wanna check out Erd Tree but I havent killed the boss required yet lol. I have close to 80 hours on ER and am probably less than halfway through.
@@TerraWare Take your time and enjoy it, not worth rushing this game. Mohg's a good boss fight but tough if you're melee (like everything else in this game). Just like another very famous boss (I'm sure you've heard of her), he's a test of patience. I won't say why cause I don't want to spoil and it doesn't have to do with a certain BS gimmick this fight has. The normal portion of this fight (without the gimmick which only lasts a few seconds) is fairly technical and challenging if you're playing it head on solo.
Take your time with it (the game in general)
@@constantinesoldatos That's how I played it. I'm not a massive skilled souls player. I've only recently got into them with ER being one I really enjoyed and did genuinely explore off the beaten path it was great.
Games that self fixed themselves were and are way better then today's garbage
There is a youtube video showing DOOM 2016 being playable at 1080p with a gtx 970 and a pentium 4 cpu using Vulcan.
I played it on a rx 6400 and 3300x it wasn't bad at all....
@@logannosleep5 currently playing on my igpu vega 7 on medium using vulcan. works fine
I agree. I think 2016 is the better game.
doom3 is the last real idsoftware game and doom and quake and wolfenstein died with them when bethesda purchased idsoftware. no more mod tools or dedicated servers or true pc games anymore all we get is crap console games.
no spoko widać daje rad ale mam pytanie czy widzisz różnice miedzy 2k 4k a 8k ? bo imersja i odbiór moim zdaniem nie różni się niczym :)
It couldn't run properly back in the day with my GTX 770 2gb since it didn't support vulkan and ran poorly on opengl, now i have 7900 xtx too and it like bazilion times better
I don't remember what game I was doing things like this with but I have seen games where I was trying to torture test at 8K but they would crumble if I tried to set resolution in game. I had to set screen resolution to 8K then go in game and it worked.
Right. I did that too. Set desktop resolution to 8K and than in game too. Maybe it's something with the engine? Not sure. Every other resolution worked just fine though.
@@TerraWare Whatever game I was using as a science project was a newer one so it might have been an engine thing or just older game code.
It is a coincidence but a lot of older UE4 games 200 lock as well. It might have been a thing of the time. 4K 200 fps was high enough they assumed nobody would try higher.
Off topic shout out. The Once Human Demo. I seem to be getting between 80 and 100 at 4K max settings. I have not seen anything uploaded for it yet. If someone tests stuff on a 7900XTX RUclips is pretty prompt on notifying me
@@Waifu_Warrior I was thinking of taking a look at that actually on the 7900XTX. I did a video on it a couple months ago on my 4090. I did it in a lets play style checking it out for the first time and I liked it.
good fps
U can remove fps limits in nost games using riva tuner by setting a custom fps cap.
first
You are.
Doom eternal is completely unplayable with rtx cards now, drivers are completely fucked.
Really? I played a bit on a 4090 a couple months ago. Will have to check it out now.
I just checked it. Seems to run perfectly fine on a 4090/7800X 3D build on the latest 555.99 GeForce driver. Here's a clip I just captured ruclips.net/video/enEdChRG0CY/видео.htmlsi=5s7xlLMPvIYl3Jd-
