I'm getting pretty close to the end of DOOM. This is definitely a game I will keep playing through at different times in the future. Timeless classic.
Let's go doom eternal then, 10x better ;)
This would be my dream setup (if I had the money) so it's nice to see that games perform well at even ultrawide resolutions
I got in late on the ultrawides, like 2 years ago now. I love it. For a desk setup it's perfect. 3440 x 1440 is also a pretty good resolution as far as powering it. You dont need top of the line hardware to run most games at native resolution.
great video brother
Good video. I played DOOM 2016 for the first time last year and I finished. I didn't think it was nearly as good as DOOM 3. I'll eventually play DOOM 2016's sequel.
Never played Doom 3 but it is a game I am interested in checking out some day.
Looks like we'll need an RTX 5090 to hit 200 fps 100 percent of the time at 6K!
I love going back to some of my favorites when upgrading hardware and blowing up the performance.
@@TerraWare Hahaha me too man!
Playing an Id Tech 6 game must be such a huge breath of fresh air for you after trying the disaster that is ELDEN RING.
LOL true. Now that I've been messing with no FPS cap mod in ER I realize it's a pretty CPU demanding game as well. Armored Core 6 ran so smooth though.
Clock boost base?
Its is oc right?
Yes have OC it a little. +240 come, 400mhz memory +15% power limit.
F/cking metal 🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah. I've been listening to some of Mick Gordons sick DOOM tracks lately. The man invented a whole new metal subgenre with his Doom 2016/Eternal work. Argent Metal.
@@TerraWare He's absolutely phenomenal, watched the presentation he did regarding the making of that unique synth sound, truly innovative. Also purchased the album he worked on with BMTH yesterday to listen to in my car later today cause i'll be on the road for a few days again, really curious on what they came up with.
Wanted to ask what you think about the many Steam reviews saying Shadow of the Erd Tree is too difficult since you're a big Souls fan/advanced player.
@@constantinesoldatos Nice. I'll have to check it out.
@@TerraWare I do have thoughts on it. I went in NG+ and although I do agree with some of those reviews when it comes to the base game, mainly towards unnatural delayed attacks I disagree when it comes to DLC.
Note it's my personal opinion. I feel that the DLC went back to it's roots in terms of souls combat. It relies purely on player instinct and reflexes while learning the boss movesets and doesn't make you literally count seconds before an attack finally lands. That wasn't reactive gameplay it was timed which made it boring to me. (Hoara Loux a notable example with that 4 second delay stomp)
The DLC imo has very clear movesets although chaotic, but still clear with very visible openings and mini delays designed to catch you off guard and roll catch you (the way delayed attacks were initially designed to work) That poses a higher and a lot more fun challenge cause the rhythm never stops, it's fast and engaging.
It's just cranked up to 11 in terms of speed which I personally like. I understand why many players dislike that since they feel the character is not fast enough but I think he's BARELY fast enough to keep up which in my book is fine.
Anyways I just started my NG++ (this is my 100% exploration run for things I missed) and I'm still not getting 1 or 2 shot like people claim. Then again most people run 40 Vigor which is a huge nono. 55 At least and get those Scuba (w/e the dumb name is lol) tree fragments. Imo the DLC fixed all the issues I personally had with the base game being too slow and in a couple of fights having some truly bs mechanics.
It's fast, hits hard but in my book it's fair. you feel like playing Bloodborne and DS3 at the same time.
All of the above is subjective and purely my opinion based on my personal taste and playstyle. Besides that I understand why people struggle and complain and I hope they manage to at least get some fun out of it or refund it in time.
oh man PoE 2 gonna look so good with the RTX 5090
Path of Exile 2? I'm looking forward to that but 5090 will be overkill many times over that lol. They recommend a 2060
@@TerraWare 4k ultrawide gameplay looks good
