Tried this on the 7900 XTX and I was amazed how good this game looks. Not my type of game but I might check out the final version too just because of how good it looks. I also found FSR quite ghosty and bad with particles but still usable since there is no other option. Turning down settings to high also gave me a big FPS bump. I didn't realized it turned on FSR balanced until later, but I was CPU bound at such a high frame rate that it didn't matter too much. This game would be a great case for FSR frame gen as you said too, so I hope they can add it before launch.
Had a blast playing this game and cannot wait to launch. Although forced TAA made everything look really blurry as soon as you move your camera just a bit. This happened with DLSS and native, but FSR although had other kind of issues did not made everything fuzzy. Take a look a the textures as soon as you move and you'll notice how much the quality decrease.
for real dude, i was going crazy on my amd platform cuz everytime my char had grass background everything was super blurry. Outside of that i felt like my char was a lil blocky. Hope amd will add updates to that as it was annoying
@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews Mine too. Hopefully it's not ruined by aggressive monetization. I miss the days of paying monthly for a good MMORPG, didn't have to worry about in-game shops or stinky gear cosmetic drops to push you to the shop. I'm dating myself lol
I have an AMD gpu and the FSR 2.0 available on the Throne and Liberty is horrible. It presents a lot of ghosting and images with many pixels. I think I should add FRS 3.0 or 3.1 to improve the graphics of players with amd gpu
@deathz-1993 I don't think that seals the deal for FSR 3 though. Many games are Nvidia partnered that have FSR and FG Luke First Descendant for example. FSR 3.1 also just came out so it'll take a bit of time. I hope to see it though, especially on UE5 games where it's often more miss than hit
Nvidia Shadowplay for my Nvidia GPU's and AMD ReLive for AMD. Just the driver software nothing fancy. I captured my previous video Concord on 7900XTX with 24.7.1 looks pretty good. Make sure you arent recording with HDR enabled I guess.
HDR did not look really great and was overshooting to 10K nits. Although still find it weird you could not use it along FG. Any idea if this is a bug or maybe they're using an HDR format not compatible with frame generation?
@ondowmosa6283 It did look a bit over brightened with HDR but FG gets grayed out when HDR us checked ON in thr settings. Even after I disabled HDR in Windows and it wasn't enabled I still couldn't enable FG it was grayed out. I had to enable HDR back to ON in windows go into the game settings and unchecked HDR to be able to turn it on.
I run a 3070 rtx + amd ryzen 9 5900x, 32gb ram, and i have an issue. when i rotate slow and fast camera from left to right i have a slight delay or lag. what should i do? i play with high settings.
I would've liked to have but the very crowded city Saturday evening was the closest I guess. Questing with a ton of people around me felt fine actually as far as spell casting, which is what I was mostly playing.
@@TerraWare Was playing Korean version from the begining, doing world bosses or guild vs guild will be the one of main things and the performance there was going down a lot, your PC can handle this somewhat acceptable but i was angry when i was got top pc and got only acceptable performance in most intense scenarios by acceptable i mean playing on 4k and have fps on being on the edge allowing me to control my toon. Sorry i will not lower settings on that class of hardware i'd rather change the game not accepting the technical crap.
@Tombitp Could it have been server latency perhaps adding to it with the Korean version? I did present a very gpu heavy clip at 6:38 with rainy weather fps took a nose dive
@mystic865 Yeah I agree but I would personally recommend using Riva Tuner/MSI Afterburner FPS cap or Nvidia control panel over in-game settings even if there was one. its ue4 not 5
Yeah you're right. One search I did said UE5 but it is UE4 according to devs.
@@TerraWare Yeah I thought it was 5 at first too.

Yeah FSR didn't look great but I've a feeling they'll add 3.1 when it fully launches. It's UE5, it should be easy to do.
Best review so far. Thanks for you job.
Thank you

Very nice game I hope they will eventually allow players to trade items as well
Now is a good time to voice concerns with the devs unless they plan to monetize that feature lol.
This game is beautiful! The only game that made me stop to take screenshots was FFXIV. I love the photomode as well, tho it could be better.
Dang, really? I missed that. I like photo mode. I take many in all kinds of games.
Will you check out Throne and Liberty when it releases?
@@TerraWare Definitely think I'll give it a try at least. Looks right up my alley.

That TAA ghosting was annoying me. I cant use DLSS (1080ti). Anyway to solve it without DLSS? Great video.

I agree, it has ghosting and looks too soft and this was even at 4K. Hopefully that improves with with the full release.

I don't think they will update this or add a newer version of FSR. The game is partnered with Nvidia

I didnt get too much ghosting with Oled monitor
look like same in my 1080ti 5800X3D so still good

There's an open beta currently on Steam until July 23. Just download and try it, no accounts required other than Steam of course.
the things i find weird with this game is, we cannot use DLSS ''FG'' with HDR...

What resolution and how much FPS are you getting in the game?
Man just test when there is bunch of player on any world boss, when he appear and everyone start to cast, performance will be eaten.
