Got our Matt blue ev9 gtls 6 seater last week to go along with our blue ev6 gtls. Gotta say our driveway looks frigging beautiful. 😊 Got the ev9 booked in for next thursday for the brake recall. I was informed of it last thursay when i popped into my local dealership.
Traction control uses the abs to stop wheels from losing traction and move traction to the other wheel. Torque vectoring actually changes the torque to the wheels on an axle and should be a lot more refined than TCS
The new Android Connect app now shows not only the charging speed in kWh but also the total amount of charge added to the car at the point of refreshing the screen. This is useful in my case as I have a very long cable run from the house to the charger and so losses are greater. Also shows time to completion. This is in the Kia Niro EV.
I now have my EV3. Sadly, I can confirm, UK EV3's do not have reclining rear seats. So there is a gap between the seats and the load cover. However, it is impossible to see into the gap from the outside. So it's no big deal, for me at least. Also, I can confirm, the Sunset Orange colour looks nothing like the brown colour on the configurator. It's way more orange. There is a Korean video that shows the proper colour ruclips.net/video/IzFc6ADGFkU/видео.html
Sweden also didn’t get reclining rear seats. Absolute epic fail in a country full of tall Vikings 😖 My boy is 2 meters and fits in the back of Niro EV due to reclining rear seats but he doesn’t fit in the EV3. What a shame. I will not buy EV3 based on the absence of a cheap part to the seats. Funny that Asians get reclined seats although they’re way shorter than the Nordic average.
According to some US RUclips channels it’s still coming so i continue to live in hope. Once the dispute was settled with Map providers and Apple or whoever (not 100% sure) cCNC got it first (EV9,Kona,EV3) then Genesis models with Gen 6 head units got it in the August update. So will it come in the December update? Would be a nice Christmas present. I’m probably way to much of an optmist though😂
@@harryfionas7386 I will try it. Edit: It takes you to the time setting, that I found before. But now I saw that I can change it manually so I set it to -1 hour. Still automatic setting is checked and daylight saving is checked and have not changed automatically....
I've found that it is always on European time and ignores UK time so I uncheck daylight saving in October and then it's correct until March then just re-check daylight saving time. The logic is back to front but it's the easiest way I've found. Other cars can just do this automatically drive.google.com/file/d/1xBClLZGWgdzh7OMDDWQKfM-euRHntPzw/view?usp=drivesdk
I don’t. I do the Maps & Infotainment myself. Recall & warranty updates are done free of charge at the dealer. In the UK OTA is not worth paying for as they very rarely seem to put drive train updates on the system

Agree about the switches-i usually feel for them whilst keeping eyes on the road
@@deryckarnold One reason that I have never bought a Tesla.
Seconded

Cheers Carol, I’m not seeing the total amount of charge on my EV6. Is that on status screen?
@evodessey Yes, but only when actually charging of course.
@CarolSteele I'm still only seeing the charging rate so maybe a Niro EV only thing

I’ve seen the real colour of the Sunset Orange and it’s better than i thought it would be.

Brian, do you ever think we will get Android Auto without a wire or buying a box on original EV6 ?

@evodessey fingers crossed 🤞As I much prefer Wayze for Navigation ....👌
Hello, do you have some advice how to force daylight saving clock change. Mine is still on the summer time...
Touch the time on the centre top of the infotainment screen.

Why should I pay Kia £80 for updates?
