seriously? You play the guitar, you're creative and you can actually build your own stuff, you're into photography, you're hot. Probably you're an athlete as well. Is there anything you can't do? That's just amazing...

Reminds me of how much I suck at modeling functional parts. Really good tips though to help me improve. Thanks!

Awesome! I will take inspiration from this to make my own front lens caps. One thing I would add: something to keep the spring and buttons centered to the cap.

This is a great old gem! I made some slight modifications to the design to make it easier to create in fusion360, but this is still an extremely useful video. I'm going to print a bunch with different sized/shaped holes in the center to create some beautiful bokeh.

Awesome project, I do a lot of wildlife photography so I know the lens cap struggle. Looking forward to trying this project on my school's printer

Thank you for putting all those size up on my minifactory. It is the best camera lens cover I have found and printed. The only thing I would add is a loop on it so I can tie the lens cap to the camera and not worry about losing it. But that is for me to modify. If I have time I might add it as a remix to such a great model. PS I'm keeping your logo on it. :)

Don't think I saw it there, but what are your printer settings? Layer thickness? Speed? Material?
    Thanks!

Hey Devin! I know you probably won't see this but I downloaded the model from the link in the description and saw that it came in many different sizes! Are these sizes the diameter of your camera lens from the inside edge??? Thanks!

+Elias Derry they are the size of filter you would use.. I imagine it's the inside edge diameter

You should connect the spring to the housing for the buttons not to slide back and fourt
