mounting my 115 hp Mercury Inline 6 Outboard with jet.

Setting up the Transom to accept this motor with a jet. The set back is not centered ( Aluminum angle metal ) . Asking for ideas before I re-drill my flat plates to move the motor over. I do not want to try and move the set back , there are enough holes in the transom already . Trying to slot the set back to move it over would require unbolting the setback as well and I do not want to break the seal or screw with the bolts in the transom. Lemme know what you think .
Update , I just went ahead and trimmed off an Inch or so from the left inside plates and moved it over an inch. Problem solved. Not pretty but worked..
