I usually make it at night and put it in my hair as soon as I wake up around 7am. I rather let it sit over night then have to wait 4 hours for the dye release. Once I have it in my hair I leave it in for four hours. I usually do a tablespoon of aloe powder for slip and a tablespoon of amla so I don't lose my curl pattern.
I leave it overnight because of the convenience that it is ready when I wake up in the morning to start applying it immediately. Also, the more I leave it, the better dye release I will get. My grays are very stubborn.
You are a beautiful Queen Selina! I use henna like you and have for years now. I can't imagine haircare without it. I also have some greyish color in my roots with the middle part, but with the side part I don't see it as much. The henna will flatten the hair structure for a few weeks I've noticed. I see your curls are more defined now with the treatment. Have you tried flaxseed gel to give stronger hold and definition with your curls? It seems whatever weights the hair down the most will keep your definition longer. Beautiful results!

Yes, I use Flaxseed on my hair as a treatment but not as a leave-in gel, I don't like the way it makes my hair so hard, but it works perfectly on my daughter hair. Same here. I can't stop using my pure herbs. I am still using them once a month, and I can't see myself not ever using them 🙃 😑
