One critical factor in maintaining hair length is ensuring that your hair remains free from tangles, as tangles can lead to breakage. To address this, we'll be preparing a flaxseed mixture. This mixture incorporates onions, which are rich in sulfur an essential element for hair health. Additionally, we'll be utilizing the remarkable properties of Rosemary, a well-known ingredient for promoting hair growth. I'm also blending in some dried lavender herbs. These dry ingredients will be combined, briefly cooked, strained, and then enriched with the remaining components of our treatment.

After completing the cooking process, we'll be left with a mixture that looks like this. As it cools, it will thicken slightly, but we're aiming for a consistency that allows us to use it effectively as a treatment for both Sonia and myself.
Next, we'll be introducing Carrot Growth Food, as well as MSM powder, which is rich in Vitamin C. These ingredients play a crucial role in promoting hair growth and strengthening hair follicles. I'll be discussing MSM powder in greater detail in a separate video since I'm also incorporating it into my own hair care routine.
Incorporating about two tablespoons of the Carrot Growth oil and three teaspoons of MSM powder, we'll blend these ingredients into our mixture. This final mixture is now ready for use. It can serve as a pre-poo treatment or a leave-in treatment, as all the ingredients are safe to remain on your hair without needing to be washed out.

Onions, for example, contain a high concentration of sulfur, which enhances blood circulation and stimulates hair follicles, ultimately promoting hair growth. Rosemary is renowned for its stimulating and revitalizing properties. It improves blood circulation to the scalp, promoting hair growth, and also helps prevent premature graying and dandruff. Lavender possesses antimicrobial properties that combat common scalp issues, such as dandruff and infections.
MSM is a natural compound containing sulfur, which is essential for collagen and keratin production, vital for hair growth. MSM can strengthen hair, improving its overall health and accelerating growth.

When boiled in water, the resulting gelatinous mixture can help retain moisture in the hair. The steam created by the cap helps open the hair cuticles, allowing the moisture from the flaxseed gel to penetrate and hydrate the strands.
2. Scalp Health: Flaxseed contains antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that can promote scalp health. Even if the flaxseed gel doesn't come into direct contact with the hair, it can still nourish the scalp, reduce inflammation, and alleviate dryness or irritation.Even without direct contact, the steam generated by the cap can help activate the flaxseed gel's smoothing properties, resulting in softer, shinier hair.
