I repeat it once again, you deserve millions of subscribers! I have learned a lot from the last three videos you have uploaded and I have clarified many doubts I had about mixing this beautiful genre that is pop punk. God bless you brother!
@@PetexZen You will do it! One question... What is the make and model of your headphones? And what is the virtual instrument to use to sequence the drums?
Sennheiser HD600s for mixing, cheaper sennheiser 280s for tracking (theyre more isolating) and I use get good drums modern and massive, but also use room sound drums pretty often.@@renzoromani6754
a guitar dial in tone would help so much too! thank you for all the videos you are shelling out, really helping out so many home musicians! Hope your channel blows up!
Been watching a few vids on this channel and was convinced it was a very popular one with millions of subscribers, and suddenly realized it is fairly new and has just 143 likes!? Here goes mine. Subbed and liked.
Good video dude.. I try this stuff but it doesn't really work.. I more into just playing the bass and guitar have a metal band but really kind of wanting to just have some chilled out indie alt rock indie pop stuff.. anyways good stuff
Really appreciate this, man! Just had two questions: 1. What kind of bass for the source? Stingray? 2. I’ve had a tough time getting that type of clean/chorused guitar sound- any chance you could share that preset too?
@@PetexZen and thank YOU for the video! After blink’s comeback and Travis’ contributions to Avril and MGK I’ve fallen back in love with the genre again.

I have had amplitude forever and never done a deep dive in to it. Love the sound of the split signal.. Great vid!
*Amplitube
Hey thanks homie! Amplitube is totally underrated
Dude this is freaking AMAZING! Would love to see a video like this on processing Modern and Massive

I wish it did! I’d be happy just getting monetized. Thanks for watching homie
@@PetexZen I’m in the same boat as you man! Aspiring musician hoping to see some growth soon. Good luck to us both!
Thank you so much

Sick! Love the pro-mb trick using a single band across the whole spectrum.
Thanks homie! Might be cool to also duck it only in the low end.
@@PetexZen I’ve used it that way before. Can also use soothe to do the same thing and be even more selective, but I dig the way this turned out.
@@justinsmithmusic whoa yeah didn’t even think to use soothe for that! Good idea.

I used a fake fender bass haha it’s a squire with a fender logo on it. I’ll do a separate video on clean guitar tones. Thanks for watching homie
Great video! Would you share that amplitube preset? Thanks!
Adding it to the description now, thanks for watching!
Hi, I’m brand new to producing. Do you know if I can do a similar thing in Logic?
Yes no matter what daw you use, you can make it happen! Thanks for watching homie

do you have recommendations for vst drums? that will sound like in this video
Get good drums modern and massive is great, also room sound drums has some awesome packs to check out.
@@PetexZen Can you make a tutorial for this drums sound starting from scratch? this sounds so good!
How can I hire you for mixing???

Your raw bass tone is already better than anything I can get haha. I would be happy to just keep it at that.
Brother, fresh strings go a long way!!
