Brandon, great interview, the wonder mbl was most likely planned to replace wonder mb last year, but Covid lockdown put kibosh on the schedule. I am eager to walk thru a wonder mbl sometime next year at a dealership, and if satisfied I will be putting down a deposit.
Great interview, hope to see Dean at the Portland show. I liked your recommendation about fueling at truck stops. I own a diesel BMW 328d small sport wagon (and have owned a number of them since 2014). Sometimes the only option is a truck stop, or the truck stop part of a gas station to fuel up. I always get a kick from the truck drivers who stare at me, or better yet ask me about what my mileage is. Haven't had anyone tell me I am using the wrong fuel though, ha!

Brandon you and Dean did a nice job…I just dont really see it as a new floor plan more of a tweak to the MB. Some of the features are upgrades however I was hoping for something entirely new. LTV makes a good product

I am definitely getting one of these Class B+, my only doubt is getting a unit with the slide out or not. I really like the 2023 model with the twin bed. It looks spacious, you can turn the twin bed into a full bed and you have 2 large windows with 2 large sofas. if I do one with a slide out, it will definitely be the MBL.
Having been in several twin beds models, spacious is not a term that I would use. Actually pretty cramped. Our FX with slide out is the most spacious, so if you get a chance to walk through some it would help with your decision

Actually, I don't think it's as much Ford vs. Mercedes as it is diesel vs. gasoline. If a prospective customer sees that you have their preferred floor plan on a Mercedes chassis but not on their preferred Ford chassis, then you could lose that customer altogether. However, if you have their preferred floor plan on both the Ford AND Mercedes, you have a much better chance of making that sale and making the competition a little less wealthy and popular. For example, if a customer doesn't like the fact that diesel fuel is less available than gasoline, compounded by the less availability of DEF and having to put the DEF in and remembering to do so (as if there weren't enough to remember with these RVs), and you don't have an equivalent gasoline option, then you've lost another customer. That's why I'll go out on a limb and say Mercedes will switch to gasoline and if not, Ford will eventually win this war. As far as the war between fossil fuel and electric, are there any plans for the obvious alternative: hybrid? By-the-way, Dean is not only highly informative, he's also VERY funny. I just hope he goes back on that Jenny Craig diet!
Yes, I have only filled propane once in 2.5 years even camping in colder weather and using the furnace. So hot water and occasionally the stove and furnace. If you have a propane generator, that's a different story.
I went from 80% propane to 60% from 2-14 Jun. This included every night hooked up to electricity. I do not see how you lasted that long unless you didn’t go anywhere. Will see what cooler weather and a bunch of boondocking brings starting this Fri.
Note: British imperial gallons are bigger than US gallons, quite a bit bigger - so you can't directly compare MPGs (But yes gas prices are in a different league too of course).
@@Pagosa European cars are indeed more efficient - smaller & lighter and perhaps a little more focused on MPG trade offs (for obvious reasons). I was driving an economy car in the UK just last week - and honestly in mixed usage its more like ~50MPG typically - not 70MPG, I think you were exaggerating a bit there ;). Imperial gallons are 20% bigger by volume. So that is equivalent to about 40MPG in US gallons - so clearly better but not hugely so for the same kind of car.
